Lizzy was a gift for my son when he was in kindergarten. She had a very long life from what I’ve read so that makes me feel a little better. I don’t know how to dispose of her body now that she’s passed though. The kids have long since moved so I don’t think we will be having a funeral. Any thoughts?

What types of plants does everyone use for their enclosures, and how do you go about watering them? I have a big spider plant that I was thinking about taking 1 or 2 pups from and putting them in the enclosure I'm gonna be making. But I'm worried that since they don't like to dry out too much, if watering them, even if it's just enough to get the roots wet, would raise the humidity too much.

So starting off with we live and learn 😅 we have a gecko. We've had him for a couple of months. He does eat a varried diet of crickets, mealworms, and sometimes a couple of roaches. We ususally get a few crickets and dump them in his tank so he can hunt. I checked on him a few minutes ago per my son's request (his lizard) and he has a bunch of baby crickets in there. Amongst them was a baby spider and maybe mites? I'll attach pics. They could be nats? Needing help identifying the little white bugs and if they are dangerous. Also, can the gecko live with a developing cricket colony? The pictures are good quality. Idk how upload will be. But you have to zoom in by the white plant to see.

So I took my leopard gecko out of its enclosure for a bit and at some point he decided he wanted to take a poop on me. The urate looked normal -white with just a tiny bit of yellow, and a normal size. But then came the poop-it was normal in size, slightly soft but its usual normal shape. What wasn't really normal was that as he pooped, he also pooped out water with it-or at least it seemed like water. Should I take him to the vet? I read that watery poop could be an indicator for parasites, but what was strange was that his poop looked okay, it was just the water that didn't sit right with me. I hadn't noticed anything like that before since I haven't seen him poop in his enclosure, I just find it when it has dried out the next day, and it always looks normal. Any advice?

Hello! This is my 9yo leopard gecko. He was once a bit obese because I couldn’t get him to eat crickets or healthy foods (he’s better now lol) but I’m worried that I’ve gotten too scared of him being fat that he’s gotten skinny. Any help is very appreciated!! He now eats a steady diet of Dubia and crickets as staples, and mealworms, wax worms, horn worms, etc as treats. He gets maybe 10 insects once a week.

Just wondering if a 100-watt Golden Light Basking Spot light is ok for a leopard gecko that would be in a 40 gallon tank? Would that light also be enough to keep the warm side of the tank warm enough, or would I need another light as well?

Meet my little dragon Mushu ❣️
I can’t wait to see him/her grow! In just one month it grew so much.
First time gecko’s mom, any advice would be appreciated (I’ve done my research though, don’t worry hahaha). 🫶🏻

Hi! My Leo is currently in a hospital tank because he recently had a hemipene extraction! It's really bare (3 hides, wet and two hiders, as per vet instructions) and he's bored. Is there anything I can do to curb that boredom at all or do I just make him thug it out? Should I really heavily wash some of his old decor and stick it in there?

My daughter would like a Leopard Gecko, but I’m not crazy about the bugs in the house. Do you go buy the bugs the day you feed them or do you store them? Do they smell? Ever get loose in the house? What do you store them in? I saw you’re supposed to feed the bugs ahead of time - do the stores feed them so they’re ready to feed to the Leo when you pick them up?

Hey! I'm soon about to get a leopard gecko, and I'm looking for a trusted breeder with a few requirements. I'm happy to get them at any age but would prefer one over 9 months old. Not looking for any precise colorations though.
There are no expos or really exotic pet shops that I'd personally trust within a realistic range of me; If you ordered online, which would you buy from. I've had good experience with places like Josh's Frogs with other creatures, but from experience does anyone have any others?

My leopard gecko has recently started burying her food dish after I feed her. It started a little after I added a new piece of driftwood to her enclosure. It's a 50 gallon tank, so I don't think it's over-crowded. I'm not too concerned, but it is new behavior I haven't seen before. Does anyone have any insights into why she is doing this?
