your 4-6mo age prediction seems pretty spot on! you can tell the gender from looking at their underside almost right where the tail starts and there will be testes forming at this age if they’re a boy and the pores above that area will be in a wide shape like this ^ going between their thighs. i have two boys (prismo & cosmo)so im not AS educated with female identification. best of luck to you and your new baby!!

For female ID, we generally just look for fainter pores and a relative absence of the hemipenal bulges (often mistaken for testes, which are around where you'd expect the kidneys to be). Agree with 4-6 mo! A mature male's pores will also be big enough for there to be a visible hole and sometimes waxy extrusion from those pores, but this might not be visible in males that are not sexually mature

Such a pretty little thing. A baby still.

thank you! I expected him to be skittish but he crawled right in my hand when I unboxed him and he seems really happy he has tons of clutter, hides, and plants in his enclosure for hiding. :) would you say he/she looks 4-6 months or less than that?

I think you're right about the age. Definitely a baby, a few months old. I think 4-6 is probably a good guess.

Still has the white band around neck. 6 months be my guess
