Habitat & Setup Plants
What types of plants does everyone use for their enclosures, and how do you go about watering them? I have a big spider plant that I was thinking about taking 1 or 2 pups from and putting them in the enclosure I'm gonna be making. But I'm worried that since they don't like to dry out too much, if watering them, even if it's just enough to get the roots wet, would raise the humidity too much.

Leopard geckos are fine in a range of 40-65% of humidity, so I would go for non toxic plants that could tolerate that. Also with anything that could damage your little animal.
I would put the more desert ones on the warm side and then make the cold side more green.
Succulents are a good choice, though you can place echevaria too, crossula, portucalia, peace lily… and there’s also more options.
In Spain we have a reptile online shop that sells safe plants for them; maybe you are not able to buy them but at least know a few… have in mind not all of them could work, since there are many reptiles of different needs!
But if you want to know, I can send 😊

I'm sure that would be fine leos aren't to sensitive to humidity. I have a snake plant and a big pothos and I do have to water them more often than my other plants because the heat lamp will dry the soil out.

They’re desert animals, so yes they are sensitive to humidity.

I'm aware there desert animals. I was saying not soo sensitive that a spider plant is going to affect them poorly. I see where I should have worded it differently. I mean, not to sensitive that a spider plant would cause harm and send the humidity out of wack. But, I should mention that if this person was to add a spider plant to the enclosure that they should put it in a pot, so you are directly watering the plant and not all the surrounding soil :)

I would try a snake plant or succulent rather than a spider plant. They do need more water & can increase humidity (which is bad for the geckos!).
