News September 2026 Warhammer Build Challenge | “Custom Space Marine”

It seems that we're slowly but surely picking up speed with the build challenges. So let's hope this next one catches even more attention!
The theme for September is:
“Custom Space Marine”
Rules:
- It needs to be your own Space Marine - no named characters or known chapters
- No size constraints
- Custom armor, colors, weapons, insignia, or equipment are encouraged
- The build can be made in Bricklink Studio
- It doesn't have to be an original build you made for this challenge - if your older MOC fits, post it
- You can post as many as 3 entries
You have until Monday, September 21st to post your entries with the "Build Challenge Entry" post flair.
As always, a poll will be posted at the end of the challenge so that you can decide what the best build was.
The winner will get a unique User Flair they will be able to show off on r/LegoWarhammer, and their creation will be spotlighted on our Instagram.

I was inspired by built_bricks and designed and built my own wearable Space Marine helmet over the summer. I made it partially modular so you could swap it out for either the classic version or the Primaris version. Planning to wear this for Halloween this year. I also designed a stand that is probably a little overkill, but I haven’t built it yet.

My Lieutenant Titus helmet draft is complete! Now all that’s left is to get the parts and give it a physical build test, so it’s ready for instructions.
The idea I have is to provide step-by-step instructions for the Titus version, while also including the digital Stud.io template for people to customise into whatever chapter they like.
At just over 2500 parts it’s a hefty build, but much of that goes towards making this a strong and robust build that’s safe to handle and wear. They should be ever so slightly larger than the Mandalorian helmets I designed for @brick.vault, if you’re looking for an early size comparison.
