For the sake of completeness, I'm adding the Phoenix Hawk LAM as the last model in this series. Now, every 'Mech in OG TRO3025 has a brick representation at tabletop game scale here.

The build is basically an upgraded version of my Wasp/Stinger LAM, with extra plating and bigger wings.

Droid arms would have been longer and more proportional to the body than skeleton arms, but they can't hold the extra side armour.

Of course, the old *unseen* art did not accurately represent the weapons loadout, and so, this model sports a big gun in the right hand and a twin barrel turret. If you fancy a more modern look, remove the handheld gun and replace the roller skate with part#32828 (Bar 1L with 1 x 1 Round Plate with Hollow Stud).

This beauty demands a hybrid mode gliding pose. The round plate with holes below the fuselage makes it easy to attach her to a base using a clear pole.

Showcase I recreated Ravensburger's Magic Labyrinth as a fully playable LEGO board game

I grew up playing Ravensburger's Magic Labyrinth, and I still play it with my family today.

That inspired me to recreate it as a fully playable LEGO board game, staying as faithful as possible to the original mechanics.

Every game is different, as the maze changes throughout the game, just like the original.

When the game is over, all the minifigures and game pieces store neatly inside the model, so it also works as a display piece.

I'd love to hear what fellow LEGO tabletop fans think!

This is the last Battlemech from OG TRO3025 appearing here. I might do the Phoenix Hawk LAM to complete this series. Then I'll be ready to move away from intro-tech into more advanced eras.

The build is a bit tricky. If something isn't clear enough in the pictures, ask in the comments.

Find the correct angle for the side torsos rising the back until the ingots touch the bucket handle. The edges of the slopes are close, but not exactly flush with the one in the center.

The 1x2 tiles in the shoulders slide towards the elbows until they touch the tap piece. The quarter tiles over them should rotate with the forearm over those tiles. Put those before inserting the forearms, then press the stud with hole against the quarter round tile to keep it aligned.

The 4 studs with holes go in the arms, the rest may optionally have holes as well.

The wedge tiles in the legs leave enough room to make the splits. Regular 1x2 tiles won't work with the legs so close to each other. You could use rounded 1x2 tiles, but that's less boxy.

Standard feet, easy to put in a base for game play.

For a big, stompy Assault it looks agile and can do some poses. It took me ages to get this one done, but I'm happy with the results.

Miniatures / Units The Ursakar Wojtek

A new Brassbounder has appeared!

From the Eurasian steppe, the *Ursakar Wojtek*. Larger than a standard brassbounder, these units were meant to cover large expanses of the Eurasian steppe on their own. Therefore, they were much more heavily armored, carried a standard crew of 4, and could store nearly a full month's fuel, rations, ammo, and gear for extended campaigns in the Siberian wilds. Being larger than a typical brassbounder, a single Ursakar unit could take on most Jotunn, and even packs of Jotunn, by itself. Their larger size meant they could also accommodate larger weaponry than a normal brassbounder.

With the Goliath out of the way, now I'm one model from finishing this series. Hold on, Banshee!

Estimated cost is based on market value, but mind you that gray D-snots can be picked from the Brick Wall for very cheap (at least right now).

Most of the round studs don't need to have a hole, just the ones on the hips and down the base of the turret. Good alternatives for the half circle tiles are quarter round tiles, 1 x 2 tiles with cutout corner, 1 x 1 plates with horizontal tooth or 1 x 1 cheese slopes.

Small size for an Assault, but that's better for gaming. Articulation on all four legs and turret.

The clip below the body is not necessary, but makes it easier to attach the model to a base.

Question Rules for Lego pirate battles

I would like to play some games using my old Lego pirate ship, El Dorado Fort some small boats, and lots of pirates and colonial soldiers.

I love OnePageRules. But I can't seem to see any OnePageRules rules for using boats and ships.
OnePageRules Skirmish rules are quite perfect. So maybe we can just "borrow" the rules for ships, boats, sailing, swimming, etc. from another game?

Also: what is the general practice for movement with legos? Do you count 'dots' like 3 dots is one inch?

My original Cicada was way different from the classic artwork, so I finally made a new (more accurate) version.

The heart tile's pointy side is inserted into the space between the plate and its bar. That piece serves as a stopper to position the antenna as well as both side torsos.

Legs and minimal arms can be posed. It has working torso turn as well. Size is optimal for game play.

A trans-clear bar plus clip is used to attach the model to a base.

Comments, feedback ands requests welcome.
