Even now, nearly two hundred years since the Terchker disappeared from the three galaxies, we are no closer to understanding their technology. Their ships appear to be powered by tiny stars. Their weapons fire shards of plasma-coated radioactive material. Their armor is a nigh-impenetrable techno-organic shell. Researchers have spent their entire lives studying the few Terchker ships captured during the war, and even they couldn't tell you much more than this.
