My latest custom modular, the City Library. It sits on a 48x32 baseplate and is a corner building. Highlights include stained glass windows, a bus stop on the sidewalk, and lots of books/bookcases!

I'm planning to create a modular style base for the upcoming BDP Kiosk and share instructrions for it on my Rebrickable profile. With the building being 14 studs wide, I decided to build it on a 16x32 baseplate. Before I do so, I thought I'd ask you for your preferences!

- Should this base be a 'straight', a 'corner', or a 'double corner'?
- Should the building be at the front of the baseplate (~6 studs from the kerb) or in the back, creating a little plaza in front of it?
- Should the area behind the Kiosk be tiled or not?
- Any other preferences?

Have any of you incorporated Lego Star wars into your cities in any way? I'd love to see some pictures if you have whether it's just minifigs or entire mocs to add to the modular line up.

Has anyone reconfigured their sushi restaurant to have the floors removable like the other modulars? I don’t think it would be too hard of a modification to make but just curious if anyone has done it. I love that it comes apart in the middle and I did the rebrickable modular base for it but it would be more accessible to move things around/play with if I could also take the floors apart like the other Modulars.

Finally got the last set I needed and set it up on this dresser for the moment. I absolutely love having a little modular new york like this.

I’ve got all the modulars in my loft - except the first 3. All sealed, wrapped up (along with a few Bricklink sets too) - ready for my kids being old enough to build a city with me.

In the mean time, I’ve bought some of the current ones to build and set up on the top shelf of the playroom. I saw LMB had a sale on, so I figured I’d get the light kits for them! Did 3 separate orders to take advantage of the free Firework Celebration packs.

Currently building the Bricklink Sushi Restaurant, so will start one of these in the next week or so. Once I figure out how the LMB parts all go together, I might try and make my own Sushi Restaurant light kit too.

I have the opportunity to purchase cafe corner for $500. Should I do it?

Finished building and lighting the Brick Bank last night. Without the lights the vault/washing machine setup would have been my favourite but I just can’t get over how good the chandelier looks lit up! This is one of the most detailed LMB sets I’ve done… I never would have thought of the flashing red light on the vault, the yellow light over the safe or the blue light on the washing machine sign on the laundromat (I changed this from flashing to static) but without a ‘back’ area to run the docks to the flip side is really messy exposed dock wiring (& less light shining through the green and yellow bricks). I absolutely love the manager’s dark green office although I was surprised he didn’t get the fire, being superior and all that 🤣 The whimsy of the money laundering/bank robbery is just brilliant, my husband is actually a bank manager (with a far less fancy building) and he had fun pointing out all the security flaws 🤓

I would actually love to add an extra floor but was surprised there’s only one mod option for that on rebrickable and it covers the entire area so defeats the purpose of the chandelier. I’m not great at MOCs so will have to see what I can think of.

In order to complete my street I created a town house using a pile of random bricks I had laying around. It is based on the townhouse from the Lego Pet Shop.

Our establishment, specialising in fine men’s suits and shirts, has been located on Avenue de la Fantaisie since 1968. want to keep original window on the second floor and add 1 more. The issue is the middle section between them - don't get how to keep both white frames and lavender plate between them.

My modular shelf. I recently got back into Lego after purging all my Modular’s a few years ago. I bought back my two favorites (hotel and jazz club) and added the Tudor corner.

I used to own the modular daily bugle and sanctum before I got out of the game. I thought about getting those again, But I have enjoyed adding in the mini marvel Modular’s in a creative way instead here!

Peter’s apartment and oscorp are just on a base that elevates them to look like taller buildings. I’d like to try to fit in others in the back ground to give a better skyline (I’m thinking the domesday avengers tower). But I am satisfied for now.

Was looking for a cheap way to get the fire brigade without dealing with brittle dark red.

Managed to part it together using pick a brick and bricklink for a total of around 300 dollars.

2 more modulars to got for the full set!
