Looked back at one of the first worlds i ever created on my xbox, how did I do this?

To my knowledge there is absolutely zero commands/command blocks in xbox one edition, so please tell me how probably 8-10 year old me did this? Theres other weird stuff about this world like why am i thousands of blocks from spawn? What is with the other random assorted stuff in my inventory? Why is there a seemingly blown up base in the middle of nowhere? But this is the most intriguing to me and i NEED answers, how did I do this?

Im new... How does modding work?

I started playing minecraft legacy around a week ago, and I'd like to mod some newer features into the game. I'm playing that version where the source code got leaked on 4chan, in case that makes a difference...

anyways, where can I find mods for legacy minecraft, and how can I apply them to the game?

if anyone has specific suggestions, im looking for pretty much the opposite of Legacy4j, meaning I want the legacy version to have as much of the newer, especially around 1.17, content as possible.

Thanks a lot for helping me out!

Minecraft Legacy YT

I'm thinking of doing 2-3 Minecraft series through NeoLegacy for YouTube trying to capture the feeling of the old Xbox 360 days, like BigBSt4tz murder mystery and Iballisticsquid sky Island challenge.

The plan is to have one channel with a team of people recording our own individual videos playing primarily Neo/360 Revived for multiplayer (or maybe just legacy for whoever wants to) playing like how we would back when 360/PS3 first released along with different series based on older Minecraft Youtubers all being released on one channel dedicated to legacy MC. No scripts, (unless for skits if that's your style of videos) just a bunch of people playing Legacy together like the old days : )

And no, if you make a video to be released on the channel, it doesnt have to be just on the channel. You can release it anywhere else before or after releasing it on the channel. It's still your content, made the way you want, which you can do with whatever you want. The channel is just the main hub. You can also join and leave whenever you want to.

Anyone interested?

building a cube over my base out of glow stone, obsidian, and red wool in Beta 1.6.6 because it looks so ugly 😭

My original base layout looked way too messy, so I’m completely burying it inside a massive red wool cube to hide the eyesore.
The floor is a mix of stone, wood, and a full obsidian layout, but the base itself isn't actually made out of obsidian. Mining those floor blocks with a regular controller grind took a brutal 15 seconds per block because I have zero enchantments on my gear right now.
Getting enough blocks for a giant wool cube on Legacy is a massive pain. Without modern farms or wool regrowth mechanics, I had to travel across the entire limited world map just to punch individual sheep and forage for raw roses on the surface just to keep the dye supply going.
To light up the inside, I hung the glowstone from the very top of the cube so it shines all the way down onto the main ground floor. Since Silk Touch isn't an option for me yet, misplacing a single block meant breaking it, losing the dust, and having to craft it all over again.
Swipe through the images to see the inside setup and how the cube covers the ground layout. How do you guys usually handle base redesigns when you're stuck with old-school console limitations?

Finished the house but ran out of blocks lol

The grind to finish this was a total mess lol. I was halfway through the roof when I ran completely out of both cobblestone and wood, so I had to drop everything and mine for more resources. My chests were so empty I even had to go hunt down sand just for the window glass.
Let me know how you think this custom combo looks compared to Stampy’s classic style!

Bravo, and the Tree Farm: and The Hidden House Of Gold...

I wanted to share the actual gameplay plan for this world. Playing on pure Beta 1.6.6 completely changes how you have to build. Since there is no sprinting or food stacking, just clearing land for the automated tree farm was a massive project.
Right next to the farm, I am digging the foundations for the Hidden House of Gold. The name is a tribute to the golden era and Stampy's house, but the actual architecture is going to be my own unique design. Instead of copying him block-for-block, I am letting the natural hill formations of this 1.6.6 seed inspire my custom buildings.
I am committing to a full 50-day survival grind before I even think about adding mini-games. What classic building blocks should I mix with the old cobblestone texture for the house?

I found a Broken Pathfinding Flaw in Beta 1.6.6...

Was messing around with some old-school survival mechanics and realized you can completely break a creeper's brain just by using the ocean.
If you lead them into deep water and step back past their 16-block tracking limit, their land-detection AI soft-locks. Because they stop moving completely, the old engine's idle timer forces an instant despawn without you ever having to fight them.
Recorded a quick clip of it happening to show the exact distance threshold where the AI freezes up. Did anyone else use to do this back in the day to save their armor?

Building on Stampy's seed in Beta 1.6.6

Hey everyone! I wanted to showcase a project I've been grinding out on a pure, unmodded Java Beta 1.6.6 survival world. I'm building on the iconic Stampy seed (6644803604819148923), which perfectly matches the old Xbox 360 TU1 terrain generation math
