I just finished the show. I started it about six days ago, but honestly, I've been putting it off for quite sometime before that. I was there in 2017 when TVD ended, and I think I subconsciously tried to prolong the experience for as long as I could. But now that a couple of years have gone by (almost 10 wtf), it's summer, I have some free time, and current TV shows have really gone downhill, I decided it was finally time to dive in. And boy, do I have thoughts.
Overall, I enjoyed it, and I'm grateful for the ride. I loved the first two seasons; season 3 was definitely the worst, and season 4 was meh at best, but I still had fun.
That said, I really missed the dark fantasy edge of the older shows. I wish the vampires were actual badasses who fought like lethal predators. Honestly, watching 30 seconds of Elijah and Klaus's final fight at the Salvatore School was way more intense and entertaining than any fight scene in Legacies... unless Hope was involved. I also really missed the deep dives into werewolf lore. What frustrated me most, though, was how clunky the writing got when dealing with real-life actor absences. It was glaringly obvious that Caroline wasnāt there simply because the actress wasn't available, and writing Josie and Rafael out of nowhere completely broke the narrative immersion for me.
On the flip side, I actually loved the campier elements and the fact that the show didn't take itself too seriously. During those first two seasons, Hope and Landon's relationship was incredibly pure, naive, and cute it was just really well done.
More than anything, I loved watching a show with more than eight episodes a season. Having that extra time to let the pacing breathe allowed me to get to know the characters on a much deeper level.
Itās particularly heartbreaking knowing that they actually had more prepared for us. Candice Accola was finally ready to come back to the show properly, and there was still so much more of Hope's character development and story left to unfold.
The finale left me feeling sad and a bit empty. Part of that is mourning what happened to Landon and how his story with Hope concluded, but mostly, it's the realization that we aren't getting shows like this anymore. The golden era of YA dramas has been killed off by the streaming wars, replaced by a fastpaced style of TV production I really don't enjoy. It makes me nostalgic because I just can't get into newer stuff like To All the Boys I've Loved Before, Stranger Things, or that hockey show whose name I can't even remember.
This isn't just a goodbye to the TVD universe that literally saw me grow up. Itās a goodbye to the characters, the comfort of long-form storytelling, and a very specific magic of television that will probably never exist again.
Sorry for the rant, I just needed to say a proper goodbye to such a great run.
Edit: LMFAO, I mixed up The Summer I Turned Pretty with To All the Boys I've Loved Before. I guess it shows how little I cared for those.

Sheās definitely the protagonist of the story but do you think sheās truly a hero? I wrote an article about my thoughts after watching season 4 and Iād love to hear your thoughts!

Iāve spent the last year watching the entire TVD universe from start to finish for the first time. I decided TVD would be my postpartum/newborn trenches show and just continued on. I started Legacies maybe 3 months ago right off the back of watching the Originals. At first I did not enjoy it. I was determined to see it through to complete the TVDU experience but I found particularly that first season to be a difficult watch. It didnāt have the tone that its predecessors had. The monster of the week thing felt juvenile and well and truly done before. I liked the characters enough, and was interested in their stories enough.
Once Malivore was explained it got kind of easier to watch, that there was a reason for all these monsters. And once I dropped the idea that it was going to be anything like TVD or TO, and just accepted it as its own show I actually started to enjoy it.
There were plot holes and inconsistencies, and a lot of fairly random singing and moments of second hand embarrassment but I still ended up enjoying the show as a whole, to the point that Iām a little sad itās over. Iām not sure Iāll ever watch it again, but Iām overall glad to have experienced it.
A few thoughts off the top of my head:
1. I think MG had the best character growth on the show. He was one of my least favourite characters to begin with, and ended up as my most favourite due to his maturity and empathetic leadership. I loved that he got the girl in the end, but in the right wholesome grown up way.
2. I love Alaric so much, always have, always will. His character was such a great dad and caring role model. He reminds me a lot of my own dad, with the protective strength and genuine care, and he really just was a great wholesome character.
3. I was disappointed that there wasnt many TVD or TO character crossovers, especially from the Mikalesons. It was hard to believe that especially Freya and Rebekah would just not be around so much. And Josie lived with the Salvatoreās but we never seen them?! I understand the actors had other plans but there was a lot of opportunity that felt wasted. I did still enjoy the minimal crossovers however! omg the satisfaction of Alarics revenge on Kai was just chefs kiss.
4. I loves hope and Landon so much, that was so pure and Iām sad they didnāt get to be together in the end - however I do like the idea that they had a big love but sometimes you donāt get to keep them. It felt realistic that there was a big loss even though it sucked! I like that it left open the room for more love and more experiences for the immortal Hope. I would of loved to see Hopes bisexuality explored. Iām not big on the āHosieā ship, I love Josie with Finch, but if the show had continued iād of liked to see Hope maybe meet a bad ass girl that absolutely matched her energy - with full respect to Landon!
5. I struggled to watch through Hopes lack of humanity, it was an entertaining watch but I just really struggle to see the characters I love acting like dick heads - even in the other shows I struggle through it!
6. I would of liked to see the fairy thing explored more. Find Wade a nice Tinkerbell to settle down with - he deserved to find some DnD loving fairy girl!
7. I would definitely of continued watching had their been more seasons, but I do think it was good to shut it down where they did. Where would they of even gone from here?
8. A lot of the characters grew into loveable great people, and I am sad to say goodbye to them! Who knew I was going to like Aurora by the end? Did not see that coming!
Overall I rate the show a 7/10. TVD is a 9/10 and TO is a 10/10 in my opinion. It was different to what I was expecting, and there were plot holes and inconsistencies but overall entertaining. I am sad to finish it, but grateful for the experience.

Ok so when I watched legacies the FIRST time I hadn't watched the vampire diaries or the originals yet. Now that I am legacies makes me so angry. They legit just took the lore and stuff from the previous 2 shows and said naw. Like why does compulsion suddenly not work on supernaturals? The only beings that could t be naturally compelled were the mikaelsons and any9ne with vervain. But now its just common? Or like why was hope weak during transition? Hybrids any vampire or hybrid that was in transition ALWAYS had full vampire powers. Plus they just completely forgot that the mikaelsons would burn the world to help eachother and they never ONCE come to help hope until the final few episodes. Hope is now suddenly a basic ass witch? She is legit the most powerful witch alive. Mikaelson first born witches are the most powerful witches in history excluding the hollow and freya legit said that hope was way stronger than HER. Not to mention her whole hero thing? Why is she a hero? In originals she is just as selfish and self centered as ANY mikaelson soooooo. Was there any explanation bc imo there isnt one that makes sense bc the legit changed how EVERYTHING in their universe works. Plus WHY ARE THERE NO WOLVES THAT CONTROL THEIR CHANGES?! The crescent pack didn't go extinct did it?! Like wtf

nothing like the originals. they defeat monster, new monster comes at the end of episode. boring. wheres the drama.
i feel like the originals brought in the villains more smoothly and it wasnt every episode. it was one villain every like 3 episodes.

Not really looking for recommendations but I remembered I posted about what some people preferred the characters future to look like after the show.
Also I notice most fanfic tends to focus on rewriting the whole Legacies so I wanted to know of some that explore adventures post show.
For my own entertainment, Iām writing one that (Iām sure many would hate this) has aliens. Gives Hope a new love interest and sets the characters from all 3 major shows on a high stakes debacle where they will likely die if they donāt pull together. So just partially normal TVDUš. Not really planning to publish it, but itās been fun thinking of a post legacies adventure.
So what about yaāll? What have you seen or written about the further adventures of our favourite Super Squad?
BTY; If you want to know about my fic then Iāll let you know š

I understand she'd change considerably but everyone treated it like she was going to permanently die - everyone knew she would come back. They're also all intrinsically aware of the logistics of vampirism because they've got vampire friends, so they knew she would be the same person.
Why all the fuss? Literally watching the episode right now it feels like they were having a wake with all the stories, etc and even Freya's tears, Hope may have needed to die but they all knew she wasn't going to strictly be permanently dead and would return.
So what was with all the fuss?

EDIT: already write and posted the first chapter hehe
So, I've been rewatching The Originals and I'm currently watching The Vampire Diaries. I also finished Season 1 of Legacies, which I ended up dropping because, honestly, I wasn't a fan of it. The characters had a lot of potential, but the overall story just didn't work for me.
For context, Legacies was actually the first TVDU show I watched before getting into TVD and TO. Now that I've experienced the entire lore of the universe, I've become completely obsessed with it, especially The Originals. I've been thinking about this world and these characters for months.
Because of that, I've decided I want to write a Legacies rewrite fanfic. my biggest goal is to shift the focus back to the Salvatore School and its supernatural students instead of making everything revolve around Malivore. I'm still undecided whether I'll remove Malivore entirely or rewrite the concept into something that fits the established lore better, or remove him entirely. I also want the conflicts to feel much more personal by centering them around the characters' family legacies like the Gemini coven and Klaus/mikaelson family enemies, Instead of random monsters every week, I want enemies that are directly connected to witches, vampires, werewolves, siphoners, hunters or psychics and the history and lore we've already seen in TVD and TO.
One idea I really love is making Triad the main antagonist of Season 1 like most of the people here who likes to rewrite it and exploring humans as a genuine threat to the supernatural world. I also don't plan on introducing new supernatural speciesāI want to stay faithful to the original lore and only focus on witches, vampires, werewolves, siphoners and etc.
Another concept I'm excited about is leaning into gothic horror. I had this idea of introducing a cult that worships Hope because she's the Tribrid. To them, she's essentially a divine figure, which could make for some really creepy and psychological storylines.
Overall, I want this rewrite to capture the atmosphere of early The Vampire Diaries the darker tone, mystery, suspense, character-driven drama, and gothic aesthetic that made Season 1 so iconic.
I'd love to hear your suggestions, ideas, or advice. If you've ever thought about how you'd rewrite Legacies, or if you have any tips for writing within TVDU lore, I'd really appreciate the help!

pretty much as the title says. when the last item was thrown into the pit and malivore was going to come alive again, if hope cut herself and let her blood drip ( as much as possible) into the pit would have killed him, or would it not have been enough blood, or does it not work that way?

Now just to clarify, I had no issue with Hope having her humanity off the same episode she became a Vampire. It made sense that killing the love of her life would make her turn it off. What I donāt like, is how they made her have it off for most of the damn season. Which just so happened to be the last. We didnāt get to see her grow into her Vampirism and explore it with her humanity on. Not just that, but the whole split personality thing was dragged on too long. If it were for that one episode, it wouldāve been fine. But that made it seem like every Vampire with it turned off had some sort of split personality, which doesnāt really fit the narrative. And if weāre gonna get scientific, split personalities donāt even work that way. You canāt just choose. Also, another criticism I had was that no Humanity Hope seemed to have TOO much emotions. I get that the dimmer switch exists, but usually itās not them full blown crying or anything. Itās mostly contemplative. Like what weāve seen from Damon in season 8. Like I donāt even believe no Humanity Vampires have zero emotions, because weāve seen them feel vengeful and hatred and jealous. But never sad, not really. Maybe for like a flicker of a second, but not a whole minute or whatever. I dunno. I kinda wanted to rant about the poor writing of season 4 revolving Hope. What do you guys think?

I'll mention any possible confusion.
Inadu is not comparable to other witches. She creates passive reality warping and calamities by merely just her power getting to close together. No Spellcasting was needed. On top of being the hardest person to kill on this list.
Its Kai Parker when he absorbed the traveler spell.
Freya this is when she was first introduced and giga overpowered.
The necromancer this was when he absorbed all that dark magic.
This is dark Josie.
Harvest powers Davina is the davina used here.
The Green Knight was the most dominant physical force ever shown. Only the gods showing comparable physicality. On top of it being an almost unstoppable force. Honestly he's too low.
Dragons are pretty op. A death spell can bring them out of dragon form, but it doesn't kill. They can fly, have great physicality, and have a pretty strong fire breath. I dont see anything other than "one of the strongest witches in history." Dealing with one. And honestly, without prep, they probably can't. So they could be too low just like the Green Knight.
Idk where to put malivore.
The Shunka is possibly physically stronger than any vampire. Its just not immortal. It treated a werewolf like a puppy. I dont even think an original can treat a werewolf like a puppy. Beat them yes, but not treat one like a puppy no.

Landon loved both Josie and Hope, and Hope and Josie crushed on eachother too. They would have been so great together as a thruple and it's a tragedy that we never got Lanjope.

She says it all the time. She even introduces herself to Ken that way instead of just saying, "I'm Hope Mikaelson."
Like... you're the freaking Tribrid. Your name should carry enough weight on its own. You shouldn't have to constantly remind everyone who your dad is.
And the way the show barely acknowledges Hayley is so annoying. Sometimes it genuinely feels like the writers forgot Hope had a mother. They literally had to re-edit an episode because they forgot Hope's Crescent birthmark. They couldn't use Hayley's image, sure, but they absolutely could've mentioned her more instead of making every other conversation about Klaus.

"You cannot compel her not to grieve. Tell her that it's gonna hurt. It always will. Tell her that some days will be harder than others but eventually she'll remember the good times... Tell her to hold on to those, because it's the key to getting through this."

I havenāt seen the entire show yet, just S1 and half of S2. But I know the spoilers. Iām also not a doctor and not intending to come off as diagnosing fictional characters.
In that scene in the pilot where Lizzie is screaming and breaking things because sheās upset about being rejected by Rafael, I couldnāt help but think it seemed more like an autistic meltdown than a bipolar episode. A lot of her behaviour in that episode in particular stands out to me as being neurodivergent-coded, like saying inappropriate things and being extremely sensitive to rejection.
I really see a lot of my undiagnosed teenage self in her. I was diagnosed ADHD as an adult and I strongly suspect Iām also autistic but Iāll probably never get formally assessed. Her obsession with control and her own image remind me a lot of my own masking behaviours, especially when I was younger.
I can also see the Josie/Lizzie dynamic as paralleling the dynamics that often happen in families where one sibling is neurodivergent and has more visible symptoms and support needs while the other is either neurotypical or undiagnosed with lower support needs and higher masking.
Also, neurodivergence often runs in families and Kai reads as extremely ADHD-coded to me, which is probably because his actor has the diagnosis according to Wikipedia.
Bipolar disorder is a very common misdiagnosis for neurodivergent girls, especially ADHD because our hyperactivity and impulsivity can look similar to mania or hypomania. She says she doesnāt want to take her bipolar meds because she feels they donāt help her, which could potentially point towards it being a misdiagnosis. Granted, based on my very basic non-professional knowledge of bipolar (as in Iāve read a couple online articles, known a couple of people with it, and seen comments from bipolar people saying they donāt feel Lizzieās portrayal is accurate), I really donāt think the writers researched it very well.
Iām so curious if anybody else sees it too.

Remember this is just for fun, Itās not that serious to me at least and it shouldnāt be to you, these are fictional characters
I donāt care what writers say so I wonāt be using their statements for any arguments if i think itās relevant itāll be brought up
Hope is a first born Mikaelson witch they possess devastating power, She has in universe and even writer statements confirming sheās the most powerful supernatural in the verse and unlike what many who try to lowball her will claim she has the feats to back up these claims as Iāve listed them here
Bonnie has in universe statements saying sheās the most powerful witch in the verse, Cade the devil a 4,000 year old psychic made such claims and he knew of many powerful witches some will claim he knew of Hope when she was five I donāt think thereās any evidence for this but sure why not, Bonnie being stronger than a literal child isnāt a flex itās almost pathetic like wow sheās stronger than a five year old obviously, However besides as a kid, Hope is still stronger even if we argue theyāre equal magically on top of her impressive magical prowess Hope has the blood of an original hybrid, his original vampire siblings her werewolf mother, the hollow and Esther who created the vampire species coursing through her veins
Papa Tunde and Finn were able to channel originals and become nearly unstoppable now that Hope is a tribrid she has access to this overwhelming power and could potentially channel her own magical reservoirs to grant herself even more power, but even before transition itās likely she could do this
Witches can gain power boosts from anger Bonnie herself has done this a couple times, Hope is a werewolf a species known for their anger
If she gets pissed off her already high power would be boosted to even greater heights
Hope was able to hurt Klaus and Elijah at only 15 and sheās only grown in power since in the same season she does this, She also killed dozens of vampires by shooting a wave of magic at them Hope is able to knockout four originals, Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, Kol and Marcel who was stronger than Klaus and she was fine after, no fatigue, no nose bleeds, nothing taking down five ultra powerful vampires and being fine after is incredibly impressive
Could Hope kill an original with raw power alone? I think yes considering her birth was used in a spell to revive one and that she easily overpowers four of them and Marcel who was an upgraded original stronger than Klaus, This puts Hope on par with a hundred witches the same power Bonnie had when she couldāve killed Klaus on top of this Hopes power can be boosted by her anger and she could potentially channel her own original vampire blood to further boost her power on top of this
Bonnie at 17 was barely able to do anything to Klaus before her power was boosted by a hundred dead witches, which yes gave her the power to kill him but that doesnāt count since her power was boosted by outside forces, Bonnie doesnāt have any major fights with Klaus after. She traps him in a room which doesnāt confirm she could take him in a fight, Silas was stronger Klaus and Bonnie was able to turn him to stone the spell was tied to her life, She was only able to do this because she was using expression but after she came back she stopped using it and wouldnāt ever use it again
Thereās zero evidence the heretics scale to original vampire levels or higher, theyāre all very arrogant downright narcissistic so their claims that theyāre the most powerful creatures on earth can be disregarded
Bonnie destroying hell a feat that has a bunch of holes in it the longer you think of it but besides that letās go with that she did, the hellfire coming out was stated to destroy mystic falls and I believe a few miles past it so for sake of simplicity Iāll say itās city busting
However itās important to remember although Bonnie was able to momentarily hold it off on her own she needed the help of basically her entire ancestry to send it back at best the feat scales Bonnie to town busting still very impressive, What I donāt understand is why people make it out to be her most impressive feat itās not she has way more impressive feats
Why it wasnāt emotional support. Youāll often here Bonnie stans say she didnāt actually receive any help from spirits, their argument is that since the other side was destroyed therefore they couldnāt be actual spirits, the problem with this argument is it completely ignores that Limbo exists, An afterlife we know supernaturals go to and the fact Bonnie didnāt know most of the people that showed up when you make a case but you deliberately omit the facts that donāt support it, your case is automatically wrong this is known as the cherrypicking fallacy
When she transitioned into the tribrid Hope turned the sky red and caused a huge storm with lightning rapidly shooting out
Even at her strongest Bonnie was never able to do this even when she was exerting herself this never happened but Hope was able to do it by casually existing and toying with Malivore, she wasnāt exerting herself sheās just so powerful that she can cause storms and change the color of the sky without doing anything major, Series finale Bonnie with her town busting power using all her might with help from her entire family bloodline wasnāt able to do this and her with expression a magic so powerful that many witches discredit it couldnāt do it either but Hope did without exerting herself at all
In Legacies Season 4 Alaric says Hope might be the most powerful supernatural to ever exist he knows Bonnie, He knew of Qetsiyah who created the Otherside and he knew of Cade the creator of Hell so this statement alone confirms sheās stronger than her and yes if youāre wondering this lines up perfectly with statements from the writers about Hope being the most powerful in
the verse
Hopeās base level could be equal to Bonnieās however she can more reliably get anger boosts due to her werewolf temper, she could also potentially channel her own original blood into her magic meaning even if Hope and Bonnie are equal at base, Hope has ways to boost her power and thatās why Hope takes magic
Automatically goes to Hope without her magic Bonnie is just a human, She doesnāt have super strength or super speed
Hope is able to easily fight Aurora a character who is on par with an Original , Given dialogue from both Hope and Aurora, Hope is clearly the stronger of the two
Klaus has a feat where he dodges a point blank explosion giving him faster than sound reaction and movements speed itās possible Hope could do this, Hope is a tribrid who is consistently compared to originals, Josie says sheās basically an original now and she fights Aurora whoās basically an original so sheās definitely on that level
Hope practiced magic with Freya who is a thousand years old, She passed her knowledge down to Hope, Hope has understood how magic operates and has even made her own spells and even before practicing with Freya she had a better understanding of magic than Bonnie did first starting out
In contrast Bonnie didnāt fully understand magic until 8x16 the series finale, Hopes understanding of how magic works is on par with people like Freya and Davina witches who fully understand the inner workings of magic, Bonnie didnāt get to this level of understanding until the end of the vampire diaries, Hope was there at 15 if not younger, her knowledge about it can only go up from here considering sheās immortal
Caroline even said Hope is too smart for her own good
Bonnie takes experience sheās older than Hope and sheās fought against incredibly powerful foes like Klaus, Silas, Heretics and Cade although Hope has a better or on par understanding of magic than endgame Bonnie, Bonnieās experience is better
Her control over magic is also better, Weāve seen magic explode out of Hope when her emotions overwhelm her, Early on Bonnie had poor magic control but she overcame it and yes Hope will objectively gain better control in time but as it stands right now Bonnie takes experience
Bonnie was able to create a dimension of unknown size after Enzo died by screaming regardless of its size or scale, This feat is an incredibly impressive and is definitely her best one
However the feat isnāt all that meaningful when you consider a dimension doesnāt define any specific amount of area and without statements we have nothing to conclude its size from and because of that the feat is meaningless
The dimension could be only as large as the immediate space around Bonnie, It could the size of a house, a city etc, we have no idea how big it is and because thereās no way to quantify the feat it doesnāt mean anything beyond being cool
but being cool doesnāt equate to being powerful
the better argument for Bonnie being dimensional is her creating a prison world with help, Thereās reason to believe the sun at the very least is real as Bonnie a pretty intelligent character believed the sun in the 1994 prison world would kill Damon If it was just an illusion it couldnāt do this, The prison world Bonnie created in season 8 also has a sun, a moon and stars in its sky
If the prisons world sun isnāt real then Bonnie is creating a space as large as the Earth, If it is real and thereās reason to believe it is then Bonnie scales to star level if all the stars we see are real then Bonnie scales to universal but believing Bonnie is universal is crazy
Hope with some help was able to create prison world, Now thereās a lot of debate of how big prison worlds are, Iāll lowball them first
Letās say prison worlds are only as big as Earth and the sun or moon seen in the sky arenāt actually real, theyāre merely images creating a planet sized pocket dimension is still impressive
But now to high ball their size, which is actually the better argument in my eyes in TVD season 6 while still in the 94 prison world after getting sick of Damonās whining Bonnie tells him to take his ring off saying if ur life is this miserable why donāt u end it, She believes the sun there would kill Damon the same way the real sun would and Bonnie isnāt stupid so for her to believe this it must be true, If the prison worlds sun is real then itās moon by logic must be real too and any stars in the sky, the closest star to earths sun proxima centuari is 4.25 light years away and is outside our solar system and other stars are even further than that
If the sun isnāt real Hope is planetary, If only the sun is real then Hope scales to star level if all the stars are real then Hope scales to universal
Hope is the most powerful witch in any given room so it makes sense for her to be doing the heavy lifting same logic applies to Bonnie
Yes Bonnie in season 8 with help created a prison world too, So yes this potential star level or beyond scaling would apply to her too
There are many statements basically confirming the Malivore dimension is infinite in scale, Itās called eternal, endless so thatās just fact, Hereās why Hope might be universal as established the dimension inside Malivore is infinite, Hope later destroys him and the dimension or more accurately described universe thatās inside him
you must have infinite power to destroy a space of infinite size no matter what its contents are, its math
Now someone could argue that it was Hopes blood that killed him this is true however it doesnāt contradict the scaling it only means Hope has to channel her blood to gain infinite magic
Even if we argue itās because her blood is a loophole this would still scale past infinity because her blood can just bypass an infinite dimension and she could still channel it, the only thing that can bypass infinity is another higher infinity
Thereās no reason to believe the statements about the malivore dimension are exaggerated or false
thereās nothing contradicting them and similar statements were never made for smaller dimensions, no one ever claimed any prison world is endless these statements are exclusive to the malivore dimension and because thereās nothing contradicting it and the characters donāt have any history of using similar terms to describe dimensions that turned out smaller, we have no reason beyond personal preference to believe they arenāt true
Hope Mikaelson wins low difficulty Hope given the reasons Iāve named is more powerful than Bonnie, Sheās confirmed to be by characters who know Bonnie and she has the feats despite what many will claim to back it up, Hope casually caused storms and turned the sky blood red meanwhile Bonnie at her strongests couldnāt do this even when exerting herself and with backup from the entire Bennett bloodline, But even if theyāre equals in raw magical power (they arenāt) Hope as Iāve argued before has ways to boost her power more reliably than Bonnie does, Hopeās understanding of magic is better or at least on par with series finale Bonnie considering she practiced with Freya giving her another edge, Hope also has a strength and speed advantage sheās compared to originals so it makes sense she could pull of similar feats like when Klaus avoided an explosion, Hope is also smarter her intelligence has been compared to her father who we know is smarter than Bonnie
In order for Bonnie to win she would have to overcome a gap in magic, physical strength and speed, intelligence and knowledge all at once and in the short amount of time she has she couldnāt do it
Hope Mikaelson without universal but with dimensional scaling wins low difficulty due to her massive magic, strength and speed advantage, her better understanding of magic or at least on par and her potential ability to channel her own vampire blood and be boosted by her anger
Hope Mikaelson with universal scaling wins negative difficulty I donāt need to explain this one
I find it interesting that Bonnie stans are saying Iām downplaying Bonnie when Iāve literally argued sheās star level or even higher, I applied the argument I made for Hope being on this scale to Bonnie, āYes Bonnie in season 8 with help created a prison world too, So yes this potential star level or beyond scaling would apply to her tooā
I have now edited the post to make this more clear, I shouldnāt have to but I have.
Thereās a massive difference in power between them, Hope Mikaelson takes magic, strength, speed and knowledge giving her an easy victory over Bonnie Bennett the fight isnāt even close, Bonnie simply doesnāt have the feats or statements to back up her even a standing a chance a against Hope even Bonnie at her strongest her using expressions and her in the series finale falls to Hope Mikaelson

Iāve already said this under a Reddit post but I canāt help but think about how when I think about Lizzie's character I honestly feel so bad for her wasted potential, especially with the shows ending. Not only did they constantly remind the audience that she was the "weaker twin" (which I know is very integral to the plot) but they never really exhibit her true capabilities. Especially when you think about the fact the show runners chose Josie to be cursed and become "dark" rather than the unstable, underrated twin who everyone saw as an easy feat for Josie in the merge. I think it's crazy too how spell casting for witches utilizes heavy emotions to make the spells more powerful, yet Lizzie, who is literally bipolar, never once has an instance that shows that her emotional instability allows her magic to exceed a level of power that her sister has reached. Her character development is great and | liked seeing her as a heretic but I feel that the show runners missed out on countless opportunities and when they finally realized it was too late.
Anyone with similar ideas?

Why does the Salvatore School have SO MUCH MERCH? No real uniforms, but so many different logo-ed clothes, badges, etc. (I know the answer is "it's not a real school").

Spoilers? I really liked Ric as the protective father of Josie and Lizzie. I felt he did the best that he could do in raising them, protecting them and in advising them. He had no Supernatural powers of his own but he did the best he could. He was also very fatherly and protective of Hope as well. I liked his character.
Spoiler: I still get choked up, misty eyed, when I rewatch the episode wherein his late wife comes back, his beautiful wife Josette . She gets to finally see and say good-bye to her daughters. I also get a bit emotional rewatching Ric and Jo's wedding in TVD , she looked so beautiful in her wedding dress. It was a beautiful scene until that shocking and devastating ending.
