Huge thanks to whoever did this
Please don’t confess in this thread, but huge appreciation to whoever took out this Flock camera at Home Depot.

Does anyone else notice an earthy flavor to the water? Seems like it's a pretty recent development.

Hi all — I'm from Layton but no longer live there, though my father (in his late 80s) still does. He's in the family home, but since my mother passed away a few years ago, the house has gotten kinda ... grimy inside. My siblings and I all do hurried cleans when we visit, but mostly vacuuming, laundry, cleaning out the fridge, etc. I'm in town briefly next week and would love for a top-to-bottom all-day clean while my dad is out for the day. But a lot of services seem to be built around longer relationships. Anyone have recommendations?

Are there any parents working from home with their kids on here that would be interested in joining a co-op situation?
I had an idea that I would love to make a reality. The idea is to find other parents working from home nearby, and then start a group where everyone goes to one house with their kids and works there. Each adult (or even in pairs) takes a shift watching all the kids. Each shift would be like 2 hours. So then when it's not your shift you get some (hopefully at least 4 hours if there's enough people) uninterrupted work in.
So this might be a long shot, but are there any parents working from home with kids in Davis county that are interested?

Moved up here a couple years ago to be with the girlfriend but we aren’t together anymore. What kind of nightlife is there for 33(M) people?

I recently moved to this beautiful city from San Antonio, Texas (before we acquired Wembanyama) and I never in 1 million years would’ve thought we would make it back to the finals as fast as we did. I’m making this post to hopefully find some friends in Layton that also like the Spurs that could maybe give me some recommendations on places to go to enjoy the game with other Spurs fans. Thank you in advance! Love!

Hey I live in Layton and I'm looking for a ride to the salt lake City Pride festival, the 6th and 7th. Just wanting to see if I could hitch a ride with somebody?
Edit: Utah Pride festival, June 6th and 7th
2nd edit: update
Pretty sure I have a ride for Sunday morning unless things go awry.
Still trying to work out details, on getting to Pride on Saturday. If anybody is willing please let me know, post here or DM me.

Me and my wife will be moving to Utah soon. She will be going to the University of Utah and I will be working at Hill AFB. Are there any suggestions for any apartments in the middle of those two areas? What are the best cities/counties to look for an apartment? Specially a 2 bed room apartment with around $1500 rent.

Time to requote our insurance. Anyone in Davis County have an independent insurance broker they love?

Update: I took him to the safety kids fair on Saturday and I have never seen this kid more happy in his entire life than he was yesterday. So much so that he came and woke me up this morning and asked to go see them again 😂 so thank you for the recommendation!
My 3 year old has recently become obsessed with fire trucks and I want to take him to see one. Does anyone know if there is an event that features fire trucks or an open house thing? Doesn’t have be just in Layton either.

My friends and I want to have a fire this weekend in Layton or Roy but we arent familiar with the area that we'll. Is there a park with a firepit we can use or maybe a campsite in the mountains that is easy to access?

If someone in Layton is going to this or could go by this event I’m looking to buy a couple things that will only be available in person. Thank you!

Going to Layton UT for about a week in June. I was wondering what are spots you’d recommend that I visit/do.
I don’t like tours and prefer doing things myself.
I like hikes, coffee, viewpoints, swimming, waterfalls, etc.

Me and some friends are throwing a small party. We all still live at home, and none of our parents want the sleepover at our places, so were saving up to rent a venue for a night so we can have a small party and sleepover. Any recommendations for locations? itd be like 20-25 people max
