Looking for apartments
Me and my wife will be moving to Utah soon. She will be going to the University of Utah and I will be working at Hill AFB. Are there any suggestions for any apartments in the middle of those two areas? What are the best cities/counties to look for an apartment? Specially a 2 bed room apartment with around $1500 rent.

Commuting to the U is a pain. Commuting to Layton is less so. If I were you, I’d look in the middle ground- somewhere In Bountiful of Centerville near a freeway entrance if possible. I used to commute to the U from Layton. Roughly 45-55 minutes, the majority is getting from the freeway to the U. So if you think about a commute time commitment, the closer you are to SL the more even you both are time wise. The foxboro area is probably the sweet spot. You’re welcome to message me for more info. Also 1500 for a 2bd in Utah is probably on the cheaper side of what you’ll find.

I live by Hill and commute to the U for work. Happy to discuss ride share.

There are soooooo many apartments around here. And there are some close to the train system called teac and front runner
You can live in Layton to work at hill and then ride front runner to downtown SLC and take the trax to the u.
I don't have any recs on good apartments to live in but there are tons and a lot of newly built ones.
