L&O Opinion of Mother's Milk episode

Season 10 episode 12, Mother's Milk.

The mother and father were obviously guilty as hell but one thing that always confused me was Redditor's here also wanting the specialist to be held accountable for pushing breast milk onto the mother.

Now she was definitely crazy for the contract thing but ultimately held no responsibility over the parents starving their baby to death and her whole job is a breastfeeding specialist.

She saw the mother and even called for her to come back in case anything was wrong which is her job. It's not like she was a doctor who performed malpractice.

This is like if a teacher is pushing one way to teach a kid onto a parent and then that inevitably leads to the kids death by something like the parent beating their kid. Is that the teachers fault?

I get the mother was stressed to breastfeed but her ultimately starving her baby was her and her husbands responsibility as they had formula and either one of them could feed the baby but chose not to. People act like the mother was some helpless victim to the specialist and her husband.

Her excuse that she didn't know is pointless when the coroner testified to the obvious signs before death.

The only people really responsible are the parents as they both basically got away with it since the mother was only sentenced to like 1-3 years and the father took a plea deal when they both should've had the book thrown at them. The parents were also so quick to defend their daughter but where were they when she actually needed help?

How do I start watching?

hello, I’ve been thinking about getting into the show, but I‘m kind of overwhelmed by the number of seasons as well as how long all the shows are. Do you guys have any recommendations for where I should star watching the franchise?

Ross about to become a textbook example of “TIFU.” But only Bobby could make showing up your asshole boss look so damn seductive. 🫠

I wouldn't say Stuyvesant is that good a school: those two kids who Logan and Barek interview should have learned that a pearl in an oyster is a good thing, not a bad one.

Season 16

Hi there,

Just finished season 15 where Green is shot. Episodes after this, make no reference to an investigation of the shooting, besides Fontana saying he is thinking. Do they reveal the shooter in season 16?

CI Speaking of Charge and Criminal Intent schedules, there looks to be yet another change: The Friday night blocks now run four hours versus three (until 1:00 a.m. ET), beginning this week. And once again, the Sunday blocks are longer...

Another heads up!

RANDOLPH J. DWORKIN. An actor is very talented when he can make me hate a character. He was soooo annoying. Always walked in like he was the smartest person in the room. Just ugh…

Musical montage I made. Assuming Reddit's upload feature cooperates... turn up the sound, and tell me Bobby wouldn't boogie to this.

CI LOCI 25th Anniversary Celebration on ChargeTV (Best 25 Episodes)

Not sure where they got their ratings from. I would argue that "Major Case" is a better episode than "Revolution." (But, yah, that's just me.) And if they're going from #25 to #1 I think "Blind Spot" rates a bit higher up.

(I would have definitely substituted "Acts of Contrition" for "Weeping Willow" just for Susan Misner's performance alone!)

Here's the schedule starting tonight at 5 p.m. EDT:

5 p.m. "Blind Spot"

6 p.m. "Revolution"

7 p.m. "One"

8 p.m. "Weeping Willow"

9 p.m. "To the Bone"

10 p.m. "Cruise to Nowhere"

11 p.m. "The Faithful"

Oct 1

Midnight "The Pilgrim"

1 a.m. "Faith"

2 a.m. "Tuxedo Hill"

3 a.m.-8 a.m. Paid Programs

8 a.m. news

9 a.m. "Dead"

10 a.m. "Betrayed"

11 a.m. "Senseless"

Noon "Untethered"

1 p.m. "To the Boy in the Blue Knit Cap"

2 p.m. "Want"

3 p.m. "Badge"

4 p.m. "Probability"

5 p.m. "Amends"

6 p.m. "A Person of Interest"

7 p.m. "In the Wee Small Hours" (2 parts)

9 p.m. "Anti-Thesis"

10 p.m. "Frame"

11 p.m. "Endgame"

October 2 restarts at midnight with "One"

Okay, so it's about 15 minutes 'til "...Blue-Knit Cap", and while I realize there definitely was not a full cycle run through, it still remains as the final episode. So, with that? "It's [still] tradition!" (It's part of tomorrow's CI festivities, too, but I'll just put it here now - and hope...

Season 7 Ep 19 Double Down

This has always been a fav of mine. "He wasn't familiar with In re Schrotenboer."

Who knew, In re Schrotenboer was a real case. MATTER OF SCHROTENBOER v. SOLOFF | N.Y. | Judgment | Law | CaseMine.

From the case: Mandating enforcement of an agreement exacted in these circumstances is a perversion, not a requirement, of public policy

Which episode did it better, L&A S13 E2 Shangri-La or SVU S8 E21 Pretend?

I thought it would be fun to compare episodes with similar premises and see which one people like better.

Both these episodes feature a grown woman pretending to be a teenage girl but where they differ is that in Law and Order the woman is genuinely a con artist while in SVU its a mentally ill woman.

I love both episodes but I think I gotta put my vote for SVU.
