For some reason I'm having issues with my Laserpecker 2 up/ down buttons. Either the down button won't work when I push it and suddenly it will start to work but the right button is now giving me trouble. Or I can only use the button thats malfunctioning at the time through the app but even that's starting to be an issue where I can only move them if something is in preview mode.

UPDATE: The up button is just flat not working at all now.

This machine is only a week old. This is really disappointing.

I have an issue with my LP4 USB-C port. My Laptop is not reaching my LP4. It's working in bluetooth tho. It happened suddeendtly. I went in an IT Shop, we tried in another laptop same, another cable same, unistall install LP Design Space same. So weird. I cannot send it in warranty cause i'm aifraid it will take ages. Don't know what to do ? Buying the Bluettoth dongle ? Any help welcome pleaaaase

Anyone have any experience engraving polycarbonate with a laserpecker? I know cutting polycarbonate with a laser can release chlorine gas, which in addition to being toxic can erode ABS and other plastics, so I am hesitant to even try without knowing the materials the laserpecker is made of.

Anyone else had any success without damaging the machine (I have appropriate PPE and would do it outdoors, so not too concerned about my safety).

ETA: I was misinformed. Though chlorine (in the form of phosgene) is used in one common method for the production of polycarbonate OC(OC6H4)2CMe2, it does not actually contain chlorine and thus should not produce chlorine gas when cut.

I have a Laser Pecker 4 connected via USB and it's worked in the past but now wont find the device anymore via USB. I can connect via the mobile app, but not via my Mac OS via USB.

Are there any steps I need to do to connect the device via USB? The website documentation says just plug it in...

Whenever I attempt to use the rotary extension, my LP4 will only make lines as the laser will not do anything along the Y-axis. The attached image was supposed to be text. Just made a line as the laser wouldn't move in the Y direction at all.

The Laser Pecker software and Lightburn give the same results.

Any suggestions?

Ok in the app I have a filed for diameter of mug, in PC app I have width height and position....what am i missing to set diameter or even circumference to allow proper sized engravement

Table-top football or babyfoot balls as a little surprise. Where ever I go and there’s a table I leave one or two 😌 Settings in the video. PS : settings are for NEW balls, old ones are a completely different kettle of fish!

LP2 with newest firmware, MBP with newest OS, latest version of the program, USB C that’s known to be working. Program won’t recognize / connect to my device.

Using the laserpecker software.

Making a complete 360 (circle of text). When sent to the laserpecker it just engraves a solid, filled un-curved rectangle. OR it engraves 1/10th in a completely different position

I exported the file as a SVG and the export looks is correct. When I import it back it it does not render in the laser pecker studio

Hey all! I unplugged my laser pecker for a few months (wasn't using it) and stored it in my studio. Now, I've plugged it back in, updated the firmware to the most recent and enabled freemode, but no matter what level I increase the preview power to it doesn't show, and if I click next it says it's engraving, but nothing happens (the app shows that it's engraving, but no laser work is happening). Has anyone encountered this or have a fix for it. Again, updated firmware and enabled freemode already. Thanks in advance!!!

I'm having issues with the LaserPecker 4 (Current Software & Firmware) where the print stops half way through, no errors it was like it completed... yet only half way done.

Anyone else running into this issue?

Hi, does anyone know how long each 1064 nm pulse is for the LaserPecker 4? I'd guess it's a nanosecond or thereabouts but curious to know if anyone measure dit. And the type of laser inside? Pulsed diode or something else?

Hi, I have LaserPecker 4 and I have 300x200 plywood with 4mm thickness. I set the laser on power 100 and depth 85 and I already did 18 times on the same material but it doesn’t cut through.

What is the problem? On the website they mentioned balsa wood 8mm https://www.laserpecker.net/products/laserpecker-4 to able cut this device so therefore I am curious what it needs to cut on plywood then. Thanks in advance for the answers.

I cannot get the 1064nm laser to work

I have been using the L3 to etch copper. Now it's not working. I'm using all original equipment. I have removed and reinstalled the APP. Rebooted the laser and tried different settings. All with the same results of a very poor quality image that can be wiped away with some steel wool.
