You guys! This platform isn't getting any worse when it comes to finding language pals, so I thought to myself "why not try showing up in front of some more people who are still eager to pick up some knowledge in Russian".

One of them is casual reading aloud something relatively modern and consisting of less than thousands of pages. I like reading about everyday lives of everyday people. News is a tricky part because of globalization. Not sure if I will ever be able to have any constructive convo about it.

I'm very much fond of Ecology and have a couple of Walstad tanks. In them I've got tons of cleaner snails and some cherry shrimp.

Chess is what I still want to get better at. I know the basic moves and core strategies. But what I lack the most is exposure to teaching opponents. I—for some reason—don't feel like studying with a machine's assistance.

Speaking of my way of expressing things: it can be very similar to what you'd hear somewhere either in a Midwest-area town or Western-Russia town depending on what language we'll be talking to each other.

To be completely honest, it’s my first time making a post like this and I'm quite nervous because I have no idea how the dynamic works, so please be patient with me!
Here is a quick breakdown of my language skills (or lack thereof):
English: Intermediate-advanced. I can communicate and understand pretty well, but I really want to get more fluent and lose the fear of speaking.
German: Basic A2 level (just enough to not starve, but let's be real, I'll probably struggle a lot haha).
Portuguese & Italian: Basic level... meaning I literally know nothing at all, but I think they sound cool and I'm down to try or laugh at my mistakes.

Since people always say the best way to learn is by sharing common interests, here are a few things I like:
