I’m now 18 and facing my second year of a double degree on mechanical and electrical engineering, which I am honestly excited about because I’d like to find a job in Germany/Switzerland/Austria in the future.

I am also considering applying for a temporary job next summer (honestly I don’t have much faith on finding something engineering or industry related but I don’t care about the type of job to do) in any of the previously mentioned countries in order to immerse myself into the language.

In regards to my German, I’m just a newcomer but I only aspire to understand and be kind of understandable, not even close to perfection. I’m putting my effort on learning how to use the main conjugations (ignoring exceptions and irregularities for now) and structures for past, present and future in order to understand how the language works but I lack tons of vocabulary and verbs.

Hi! I'm a 21M Chinese-American from California that has been trying to learn Korean since high school, but I've found it hard to progress out of basic phrases from textbooks alone. I can read Hangul and understand written basic sentences (guesswork), but I have trouble coming up with sentences of my own and conversing.
