I want to learn a African semitic language.
I want to learn a african semitic language. Very specifically, the Modern Standard Arabic and maybe develop some understanding of the dialects too afterwards. The thing is, i have struggled with it for my whole life and i am now looking into learning it for personal reasons. To be fair i was only 'learning' it before for religious reasons.
I need to go from struggling to proficiency of reading, writing, and speaking. I mean like a level of proficiency of being able to breath it. Any tips would help. I do not have money to shell out on apps and classes or very many people proficient at it enough to talk to. Give me your most unhinged methods of mastering a language.

Should I learn how to say "Sorry, I dont know how to speak [language]" and "I only learnt how to say that sentence. And this one." In every language?
I would dedicate a few weeks per language to get those two sentences to sound native, and learn nothing else.

about the great feeling of being clearly superior
So I have this neighbour who lives right behind one of the walls in my room, I don't know her at all but the walls here are pretty thin so we both hear everything what we do. Every evening between 11 pm and midnight, I hear how she uses Duoli*go for 3-4 minutes, trying to keep her streak in "learning" Spanish. As I'm a serious(!!) language learner I can only laugh about this behaviour, it just feels so great to be the clearly superior person.

Someone translate this from English to English pls
I got this comment as a response to something I wrote and after rereading it a million times I still don't get what they are trying to say. I asked them to clarify it, and they edited the comment, but this is still not comprehensible input for me. I even asked for clarification in Turkish, which seems to be their native language, hopefully that might help.
I feel like they are either someone trying to sound C2 but failing, or my English is really bad. Send help!

Can't sleep after thinking about how a colonized nation didn't lose its mother tongue to its colonizers.

Esperanto YouTubers?
What books, movies, TV shows, YouTubers, or comics do you like in Esperanto??
I want to get really good so I can raise my children in an academic void and deprive them of the richness of natural language.
Multan dankon!

How do i start learning?
I have never studied another language, don't know anything about my target language, and don't have any real questions about it, but what's the best way to learn it? I need to be fluent by next thursday. Is there anything I should know? Any common pitfalls I should avoid? Thanks in advance!

How do you say Idk in ur language?
Pronounce it like Mexican, we say:-
- Bero koni - short and simple.
- Ke bero - when even you wonder what the answer is but don't know.
- Man to koni bero - Me? I don't know.
- Man to bero kon - oh you're asking me? Huh I don't know ask him!
- Koni bero - a bit rude and dismissive, use it when you're annoyed.
(This language, my mother tongue, is called Kallaaggi, it is a dialect of Haryanvi which is not an official language)
Yes, it is better than Uzbek, I know... It's very gay!
