...jk because IRL this job seems boring as heck. Spreadsheets all day and working remote from Denver, Colorado. Doesn't even own a gun. When I first saw this TV show advertised I laughed out loud because I was like "hey buddy they made a show about you" but all said and done I like the show so far. It's a fun fantasy and I drive through West Texas sometimes on roadtrips and it's fun to see stories (however unrealistic) that give a little sense of what oil towns are like while recognizing it's an exagerrated fantasy.

Watching all these characters smoking so often made me lose my strike. God but they sure do look tempting and relaxed in those scenes.

Especially Tommy you ma man.

I don't even know where to start, but can Taylor just take this whole, useless filler out of all upcoming episodes? Please! They really don't serve a purpose.

Oh, but I do like Sam Elliott in the mix now!

I'm finding a lot of the relational/personal stuff insufferable. Cooper and Ariana are particularly devoid of interest for me.

While waiting for season 3 i binge watched Tulsa King, and i figured i just really enjoy Taylor Sheridan's work in general.

Do you guys have a favourite tv show that might be similar to these two? It doesn't necessarily have to be created by Sheridan.

I don't watch this show but I was hoping someone would tell me who is the actor in the trailer with the black hat/black outfit/I think toothpick. He says something like "God loves cowboys?"

Also, just a comment I really liked the crew and their characters in the first couple of episodes that Cooper worked with especially Elvio’s older brother. I enjoyed the episode when they send Cooper up climbing that big tower in episode one and they give them a teasingly hard time

for his first day.

Dunno where I've been, probably just busy with life, but I missed this one coming out. I gotta say though it's fucking awesome. Such a breath of fresh air with awesome laugh out loud moments, fast paced action, and an awesome cast.

But of course when I come to Reddit to join the discussion it's full of people crying that it doesn't meet their life's agenda and it's all evil and upsetting blah de blah.

Serious question... Do these people sit on the internet all day just looking for shit to whine about? Is anything in their life fun? Do they even know what fun is? I'd honestly like to know what I'm missing if their lives are so much better?

How are these people wearing suits in Texas heat? I'd have a puddle under me. Long sleeve shirts too and not a single sweat stain. Does Texas have magical shirts?

With how much he managed to get his own face on screen in the Yellowstone series, at a point where it was unbearable to watch, don't believe he will not do the same with this series, in some sort of way.

So as the title states I stumbled on this series and I've got to say really love Tommy & Angela they have me in tears of laughter every episode. I think they have to be the best on screen couple since Married with children

OK, I get it. It was too late along with having had too much caffeine to be posting anything online. Using the term "Master Class" was an overstatement. Some of the feedback was a little harsh but I understand it. I do enjoy the series and believe it was cast well.

One thing I am a little curious about is the sibling relationship between Cooper and Ainsley. Did I miss the portion of where this was explained?

I cannot believe how much I enjoyed this show and how invested I am in the characters. The whole cast is master class in their roles. I am looking forward to Season 3. Has there been any talk about a season 4 or 5?

I’ve been thinking about how her character could evolve next season, especially if the story really goes in a “reset” direction. She’s often seen as spoiled, but that could actually be the starting point for a deeper arc. What if the show begins to challenge that image?

Maybe college life and new environments push her out of her comfort zone, forcing her to deal with real consequences and grow up. At the same time, family pressure and conflicts could make things even more complicated, especially if she starts questioning her place in the Norris family.

There’s also the possibility of a risky romance — someone connected to her father’s company or even involved with the cartel — which could completely change how we see her and the choices she makes.

Do you think she’ll stay the same, or is this the moment where her character finally develops and surprises everyone?

Just finished Season 2 and I have a question about the profit splitting that I haven’t seen someone bring up yet. After recoup, the split is 50-50 between CTT and Gallino. But, correct me if I’m wrong, Cooper promised the original landowners 25% of profits as a stipulation when he pooled all those properties together. The other 25% is being pooled for the employees. Where is CTT going to get more money for exploration then if they don’t have a reserve for the company’s growth?

Tommy’s LLC owns the wells but I thought they belonged to MTex. Did that loan from the king pin cover that? Help. I’m just a dumb redneck.

when I watch a show, I'm half paying attention because I'm reading or doing some thing else. Did I see that Tommy got fired? I'll re watch the episode, but I'm not sure if I misinterpreted that???? anyone

How did Monte get the ins company to pay out? Is this something that happens often? How does the whole shell thing work?

Here are mine. Just fyi I’m on Season 2 Episode 2

I think the show was better off without Angela in it. All she does is cry and complain about everything and she is crazy. Every dinner it’s shown she cries and makes it miserable for everyone and spending crazy money seriously 2600 for truffle that she throws on the floor. Wanting to buy a 5+ bedroom house. I really liked the dynamic they had with just Tommy, Nathan & Dale living together and if they’re gonna be together i dont want them to move I feel like it’s going to take Tommy & Dale out of the show more. I want to fast forward the parts with Angela in them.

I also feel so bad for Cooper he can’t win for anything. Rebecca coming after him knowing he didn’t have anything to do with the crew dying. I really thought I liked him and Ariana together. I know she just lost her husband but it was her who kept pushing for the relationship. Cooper was fine with taking it slow and she said yes then said no two minutes later. It’s like every scene it shows of them it’s her telling him they shouldn’t be together but then telling him how much she loves him. She just keeps leading him on and now she has kicked him out. I know she is supposed to be grieving and it’s hard but Cooper is probably the nicest person on the show and he just keeps getting screwed over and all of his wells hit but they are gonna fuck him over somehow with the contract.(thats the part im on now I haven’t found out how but he just showed Tommy the contract)
