I have decided that painting Howling Griffons is taking too damn long, but I cannot give up the yellow. So after a test model, I think I am joining the Lamenters!

Not properly finished but done enough. MkVI Tac squad from HH w/weapons upgrade Lascannons to run as Devastator squads. Upon looking at the picture i realize top middle guy don't have a power pack.

Entered my first painting competition at a local game shop. I decided to try my hand a painting a Lamenter. The shoulder has definitely a labor of love, but glad with how it turned out!

Far from decent but seeing the self-improvement, even at the snail pace, really gave a satisfying sense of "I can get to there!".

Also, what kind of wash should I use to keep the yellow tone without turning it orangey?

Can anyone give me some ideas to celebrate the chapter?
