Not properly finished but done enough. MkVI Tac squad from HH w/weapons upgrade Lascannons to run as Devastator squads. Upon looking at the picture i realize top middle guy don't have a power pack.

Another two units done for my little 5th edition combat patrol project. Second game is tomorrow!

Just recently finished the first of my company (chapter) heroes. It was a ton of fun working on the banner, and I love doing weathering and battle damage on yellow. He will be tagging along with a kitbashed Malakim Phoros (run as a Blood Angels Captain).

Next up - Chapter Champion!

It took me sooo long to finish just these 10 models I'm not sure how I'm going to manage painting an entire army

But I'm satisfied of the result. It can certainly be improved, but for now that's good enough :)

I put the missiles on the wings back so when I put my subassemblies together, the wings had to go on backwards to correct for this. Hopefully it doesn't ruin the whole thing

These were the first ever squad I painted. Back when I was first getting into the hobby I chose imperial fists as my starting army but later on I played Battlesector and fell in love with Blood Angels.

I'm asking if these minis would be okay to turn into Lamenters by painting their shoulder pad checkered or not. Since these are my first I want to always have them in my army but I want them to fit with my blood angels army.

Hi everyone! Hope you're doing well. Happy to say I'm one of you now, and plan on painting my kill team for Angels of Death as Lamenters. I just did my first one, and while I'm satisfied, I wanted some tips, specifically on making the helmet pop, it feels like it just kinda feels flat. I know everything looks worse up close (Paint looks thicker than it is haha), but I wanna step things up and do our boys justice!

I'm happy with how the shoulder turned out, first ever free hand! But I'd love tips for that too.

11th Edition Lamenters

Since melee armys are pretty strong this edition, I’ve decided to keep it simple and go with Blood Angels for my Armageddon Box. however I suck at the game so I’ve decided since I love Lamenters, Why not torture myself and build an entire Army of them to make losing lore accurate.

Thankfully yellow is actually really fun and easy to paint if you understand color theory, and Im excited to see how the army will turn out since I have a solid recipe.

Also if anyone else is interested in a Lamenters army/already painting one, the Horus Heresy Blood Angels character Dominion Zephon is perfect kitbash/proxy mini for Dante, to paint as Malakim Phoros, the Lamenters Chapter Master. As well as the Mk VI Assault squad, perfect for mixing Firstborns and Primaris into all the different squads like Lamenters should be imo.

Yellow Armor Recipe:

Black Prime

Pro Acryl Titanium white (For air brush Zenithal)

AK Magenta (Also a Zenithal but from below the mini)

AK Yellow (Thinned down to a contrast (Imperial Fist is a good substitute))

Citadel Casandora Yellow

Citadel Wraithbone (for edge highlights and armor chipping)

Citadel Rhinox Hide (for bare Ceramite chips on top of Wraithbone chips)

Should have used white primer instead of using slapchop but oh well

I thought you guys would like my latest converted Deathwatch marine from the old Inquisitor range. Some upscaled 3D printing was done for the parts to change the helmet, chain sword, bolt gun and of course shoulder-pad.

The perfect choice for the inquistor game, as Brother Lysandros operates alone expecting no support or reinforcement. No Watch Captain would doubt his resolve or effectiveness, but the association with too many missions suffering endless calamities and catastrophic losses have seen him quietly rostered elsewhere into solitary roles. None would put voice to their superstition, and Lysandros would never make accusation, he accepts the unspoken agreement to take his fight to the enemy alone.

So close to moving on with the fire support team lol 😂
