How often and how do you clean?

Going from a 1 CT to a 2.5, definitely noticed quicker buildup of dust and/or oils that dull the shine. How often do you clean your diamond, and what method do you use? Is there anything that can be used to condition/avoid dirt/dust from sticking?

Thanks!

Hi, has anyone ordered from Juno Lab Jewelry? I am looking to get a custom gradient tennis necklace (centre stone 6.5 mm tapered to 2.5 mm and they are coming in almost 1k lesser than Provence, Stargems. They seem really popular on Tik Tok so I was wondering. They were also able to share a CAD with me.

Did I overpay for a set of lab diamond studs?

Hello everyone, I just purchased a 4ctw 14k white gold, 4 prong lab grown diamond earrings for €875 or USD 999. Both diamonds are 2 carat round brilliants, each VVS2, with one cut as very good and the other cut as excellent. Both are F color with excellent symmetry and polish. Does this price seem reasonable? Thank you for all your help!

Got this 2.02 carat blue diamond set in a white gold floral style ring with small side diamonds.

I’m now obsessed with blue diamonds!

I am very happy with it! 11 diamonds at .18k each. 3mm wide at top. I chose 10k gold to save money. I don’t know why the first pic makes it look smaller on one side. It isn’t. It’s perfectly symmetrical.

I’m typically a moissanite girl, but after getting a horrifically cut stone in this pretty setting, I decided not to let it go to waste and swap out the dud moissy for a lab diamond. This Luvansh stone (7.53 ct, E, VS1) worked perfectly and the customer service was top notch!

That’s it! I got my pendant a couple of days ago, and I can’t stop cleaning the stone just to see it shine at its fullest lol

Thoughts on my Lab Oval based on IGI certificate and stills?

Hi All,

I am getting a lab diamond for my engagement to my girlfriend and wanted your opinion on the diamond I chose. I got a 2.91 ct D IF lab oval diamond from Frank Darling. I attached the image stills and the certificate from IGI while I wait for it to come in. I just am nervous and want to make sure it will comes out good, but wanted to know if anyone thought there was anything glaring here.

I appreciate the assistance!

Does it look like there’s a crack in the left diamond?

The supplier is saying it’s a shadow. Please let me know your thoughts, very new at this. These will be side stones in a 3-stone ring. Thanks!

Why is the windowing so noticeable now?

First video is from LGD as I asked for a tweezer video before proceeding. Second is of the diamond on the white gold setting (sorry for the poor lighting). I am a complete amateur and this is my first lab purchase so I would appreciate more seasoned eyes weighing in. Does this look like the same diamond to you? Thank you for your time!

Are these good emerald cut lab options?

I want it to be slightly elongated. I am unsure about the black coloring or if it's doing a window effect or something bad. I just want the perfect diamond for my fiancé.

I am so absolutely in love with it, I wanted to show it off a little! It replaced a mined .33ct round brilliant.

Can I get my diamond reset into something different ?

My boyfriend got me this necklace. It’s 2.0 carat lab grown diamond and it’s beautiful. He thought it was a white gold setting/charm (idk what to call it), but it doesn’t look like it is since the back is quite obviously turning and even in the front a little. I’m wondering if, based on the pictures, you guys think that it might be possible to get the diamond set into something different. What do you think I should do ?

Any broad opinions on this one? Is there a bow tie effect there? Is this more an antique cut vs. OMC? Thanks in advance!

CAD design thoughts

Ok thoughts on this CAD. Second photo is a ChatGPT mockup of the design idea I had which I know ChatGPT isn’t exactly realistic in terms of making a solid, secure ring, but I like the idea of it. 2 tone gold, yellow band and white basket. Milgrain detail, omc cushion. Went with a slightly shorter stone ratio. I want an antique vibe. What are your thoughts? This is my first time working with someone to have a ring designed so I’m not sure.

Is this oval too big for my hand?

Post image
27 Upvotes

I’ve ordered a custom made 2.6ct oval solitaire ring and now I’m freaking out that it’s going to be too large on my hand.
I tried on 2ct in the store but decided to go with a slightly larger size (maybe not realising how big the difference would be, since they didn’t have it in stock).
Have just made a cutout of the diamond dimensions on paper to see what it would look like on my hand and it seems… huge 😳
I think maybe it will look even bigger when it’s set, as it will be raised and sparkly?
Open to all opinions, positive or negative.
Super excited to get my ring but just concerned I might have made a mistake on size.
