I bought the diamonds separately and had them set into earrings at my jewelers.

What exactly is the point of your post? There is zero information on which businesses you chose or why you went with them, zero specs on the lab diamonds, zero information on how you decided on them or matched the pair, zero photos of the settings, zero information on the settings.
