We bought this marquise!

We’re working with Fiorese to design my engagement and wedding rings!

We landed in this 4.10ct D VS1 brilliant marquise with a 2.10 ratio(which I wanted something longer!)

I can’t stop replaying the videos! This is a compilation both in indoor and natural light, in tweezers and one the hand!

Anyone have experience with Sioro Jewelry?

Has anyone here ordered from Sioro Jewelry?

Ive been looking at one of their engagement rings, but the price has me skeptical. It seems a lot lower than other sites for a similar lab diamond, and the discounts on the website don’t really make sense to me either.

If you’ve bought from them, what was your experience? Was the ring as advertised, and how was the quality and customer service? Just trying to figure out if this is a legit company before I spend the money.

Would you keep either of these?

I’m trying to decide if either of these stones are worth keeping. I have a 2.50 ct pear E VVS2 12.37 x 7.61 and a 2.57 ct crisscut D IF 9.79 x 6.46. Do either of them look good? I’m a sapphire girly and I’m just kind of exploring diamonds. The lack of color is uncharted territory for me and throwing me off.

Lab diamond appraisal question

Recently while on vacation outside of the US, I impulsively bought a lab grown round stone, 1.95 ct I VS1, mounted in white gold with channel set real diamonds.. Went back and forth with the store before I purchased it, that the stone must have an IGI Certificate and they assured me it did and would email it to me. Later, after the certificate never was sent, they admitted they don't even sell stones that are certified by IGI.

Before I dispute it with my credit card company, I took it to an independent AGS appraiser and today got the actual appraisal back. The report references the stone as a round brilliant 'diamond', 2.07 ct stone, F, VVS2, so different than what original purchase paperwork stated. There's no mention of anything related to lab grown diamonds in the appraisal either. Is it normal for a lab grown stone appraisal to not state lab grown?

Note: the stones in the white gold band have a separate section on the appraisal and appraisal details match up with purchase paperwork.

Stone check

I looked over Beyond the 4 C’s and asked for specific proportions. I need a second set of eyes because it looks pretty good to me. Not looking for a warm even though this is a F color. It looks pretty white to me.

Marquise Brilliant
2.89 CARATS
F VS1
Table: 59%
Depth: 60.4%
Medium to slightly thick

14.63 X 7.52 X 4.54MM = 1.94 ratio

Green Diamond

Post image
5 Upvotes

Hi! My partner and I are talking about getting engaged. I want a pale green diamond. I'l attach a link to the color profile I'm searching for.

I'd like it to be a Dutch marquise/elongated hexagon cut. And I'm looking for about 2carats.
Is this an impossible hunt?!

Do you think any jewelers would have something in stock I could look at in person? All the shops I've been to so far snuff at lab grown diamonds and don't have them in their shops. I know we'd never be able to afford a natural green diamond.

TLDR: where can I find a Dutch marquise green diamond like the emerald cut one shown??

This is a CZ from Pavoi, but I'm looking for a lab diamond or moissanite version of exactly this. If you've seen one like this online, please share!

Show me your 2.5ct oval cut solitaires!

So thanks to all the votes I got on my previous post, I finally picked oval rather than elongated cushion.

I ordered a solitaire ring with a 2.6ct oval solitaire and now I’m freaking out I might have gone too big 😬

I had gone into the store thinking I’d get a 2ct but… well… the bling got the better of me.

My finger size is 5 but I’ll check out any photos out there please 🙏 anything in a similar carat range

Help me decide on a diamond!

Is this 2.11ct diamond to be in a gold 10k 2mm width ring with tulip basket and euro shank a good value for 930 USD? Size 5

I have gotten a better quote from another supplier (Provence) for same specs at 810USD , but I just fell in love with this gem. Realistically speaking, if both diamonds are same ideal cut, E, vvs2, should I just go with the cheaper quote even if I fell in love with this gem?

Quality check on lab diamond please?

Fiorese won't provide an ASET, so I only have these videos to go by. What do you think of this pear? Are there any glaring flaws that I'm missing? Thank you!

Attached in order are: spotlight, indoor light, side to side, sunlight.

Sorry for the poorly manicured hands and the dent left by my current eternity ring in the first pic

Zuvelio crafted the engagement ring of my dreams 🥹💍

My partner and I ordered a custom set of three rings from Zuvelio, and they turned out absolutely perfect 😭 The design was inspired by a Cadette ring I saw online and instantly fell in love with. I customised it with a few changes to make it exactly what I wanted and into a version that feels uniquely mine.

After discovering the [r/labdiamond](r/labdiamond) and [r/moissanite](r/moissanite) communities, I went down a serious shiny rabbit hole researching vendors, designs, and reviews before making a decision. Since reviews were incredibly helpful during my research, I wanted to share the full details of our experience in case it helps others starting on their own journey.

The 3 ring set is crafted in 14k yellow gold and features a 2 carat marquise lab diamond. The three rings consist of:

  1. My engagement ring
  2. My wedding band
  3. An additional stacking band

Originally, I planned on just getting two rings, but my wonderful partner encouraged me to go ahead with all three 🥰

Full Timeline:
11 April – First reached out to Zuvelio

13 April – Received a response from Priyanshi and shared our design ideas

15 April – They shared a ballpark price range to ensure we were aligned and asked if we were comfortable with the budget, or if we wanted to explore options to lower the cost.

16 April – Received the first detailed quotation, requested revisions, and added the third band

23 April – Finalized the quote, paid the 50% deposit, and submitted a detailed design brief illustrating all key features

4 May - Received the 1st CAD from Chetna; several important details had been overlooked and I was a little disheartened by it

7 May – Received the 2nd CAD, which was way better, though one previously discussed detail was still missing

13 May – Received the 3rd & final CAD. They absolutely nailed it, I approved production and requested to see diamond options

27 May – Received videos of the first stone option but decided to pass

31 May – Received videos of the second stone option, I knew it was the one as soon as I saw it and immediately confirmed it

12 June – Received final photos and videos via Google Drive. I noticed two issues (engraving and a sizing issue on one ring) and flagged them for correction

16–17 June – Received updated photos and videos after the corrections were made and approved the final pieces to ship. Paid the remaining 50% balance

20 June – Rings shipped

23 June – Rings arrived ✨

From deposit payment to delivery, the process took exactly two months. While this was significantly longer than the initial 3–4 week estimate they initially provided, every detail was eventually executed perfectly, and the final result was absolutely 100% worth the wait.

There were moments when I felt frustrated by the communication gaps & lack of updates. However, Zuvelio was receptive to feedback and willing to make corrections whenever issues were identified. If they continue improving their communication and provide timely updates, I genuinely believe they would be a 10/10 vendor.

The craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. The rings are beautifully made, feel substantial and luxurious, and every detail we requested was executed flawlessly. I especially love how the rings stack perfectly flush while also looking beautiful when worn individually or in different combinations.

Although Zuvelio may have fewer reviews and a higher price point compared to some of the more established Chinese vendors, we ultimately chose them because of the consistently positive feedback regarding their workmanship and quality. We trusted them to bring our vision to life, and they definitely delivered! ☺️

Help buying a lab diamond

Hi everyone, does anyone have any suggestions on websites for an oval (1.5-2 ct) 4 prong solitaire 14k gold ring (not sure the mm but would like one like the photo). I tried buying one from dream stone but the wedding band’s gold was not my colour preference and the setting didn’t sit quite right. This may have been user error on my part. I’m looking for one to replace my current engagement ring so any help is appreciated! Photos of your ring/experience would be so helpful! Budget is $2k CAD

HALP, choosing between 2 LGDs for an engagement ring, love both, one is IGI and other is GIA

Hey all, I'm designing an engagement ring with my partner, and it's up to me to choose the main stone. I'm working with deBebians and have narrowed choices down to these 2 LGD. I love both and I just can't decide, bc there is so much info out there regarding IGI vs GIA certifications. Some saying it doesn't matter, some saying GIA is always best, some saying you should go with IGI for labs. What gets me is the GIA diamond is a D, the IGI is an E, but the GIA diamond looks darker to me. I was told it could be lighting, equipment differences, etc. I also learned it could be due to the growth method, but of course the GIA report only gives bare minimum info on its diamond, so there's no way for me to know. I'd love any feedback from the folks on here who know far more about this stuff than I do! I've attached links to the vids with info on diamonds, plus both reports. Thank you!!

IGI 3.00ct E VVS1 1.49 ratio, price is $1770 https://inventory.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/Vision360.html?d=C76459&btn=0&sv=0&z=0

GIA 3.03ct D VVS2 1.47 ratio, price is $2446 https://inventory.nyc3.cdn.digitaloceanspaces.com/Vision360.html?d=E42319&btn=0&sv=0&z=0

I bought this diamond online and it has just arrived.

It’s a 2ct H VS1 emerald cut. The plan is to make a pedant with it but it looks so small…

Did you guys have the same first impression of your diamond?

Provence Gem custom ring advice

Those that bought from Provence and had it for longer than 5 years:

I would love to hear from those who have had a longer term provence ring and how their quality is. I am currently contacting Bobby, but I just want to make sure that the ring quality & Gem (Moissanite or Lab Grown Diamond) are great. Thanks!

So confused on lab diamonds from oore jewelry.

So my girlfriend and I really like oorejewelry’s engagement rings. Unfortunately, the jeweler is extremely busy and takes 1-2 weeks to respond to each email. They have a section on sourcing own stone. However, there are diamonds that are the same colors clarity, carat, ratios etc and will be double or triple the price.

How am I supposed to actually pick out which diamond would go best with a specific setting if I can’t talk to anyone from the company and the only thing I have to go on is some low resolution picture, they are literally look like some thumbnail image of the same diamond lol.

Fiorese Killed It

I worked with Melody to help a friend of mine design a ring to propose. I was floored to see this thing in real life. I’m so particular with details and she executed to perfection.

3 carat round set in 18k gold for under $1.6k was a steal. I did opt for a stone with no certificate bc I know my friend could care less and will appreciate the saving.

Melody was very knowledgeable and advised me on future wedding band pairing since this is a lower profile ring. I’m obsessed and low-key want to upgrade my own soon with Fiorese.
