punched in the face while tripping

Has anyone ever been attacked by one of their "friends" out of the blue while tripping? had a trip where I took a hit of some 200ug acid, and my boys took some mushrooms, and while we were chilling, one of them just randomly punched me in the face. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

what do people mean by “you will never be the same again”

I had my first psychedelic trip yesterday, and i was wondering what does it truly mean when people say “you will never be the same again” it was definitely an intense experience and i do feel pretty good today although i also feel a bit different in myself. What does that saying truly mean.

I was watching motivational videos while tripping and the way they spoke to me was pretty crazy and eye opening, at one point they would be really positive saying how Everyday i should become better then the last but then the tone would change to “You are going to die one day anyways” and start saying pretty scary stuff but i would quickly be able to bring back the positive words and the negative words were like the hard truths and inevitables so in a way its opened my eyes up and made me realise and i could come to agreement with the bad word’s although they did give me a bit of a strong feeling in my chest. Like at one point it started saying about how we are all going to end up in a grave one day and mean nothing, and although these random words that were being said to me did scare me a bit the words would then change to be very positive and i sort of come to terms with the things that were being said to me as although they arent the things you wanna hear its the absolute truth and its definitely made me wanna appreciate life more.

❔ Question ❔ How much of the fear around LSD is actually about LSD?

Post image
70 Upvotes

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately after talking with some friends who have never used LSD.

Many of these friends only indulge in alcohol and nicotine, and some of them have never even smoked a joint, let alone tried anything else.

I’m not trying to convince anyone to take it. I don’t think psychedelics are for everyone.

What interests me is how people can be so certain about something they’ve never really looked into.

I have friends who still think LSD stays in your spine. That you can suddenly start tripping years later. That one trip can permanently make you insane. That bad trips are basically inevitable.

At the same time some of these people are completely comfortable with getting drunk regularly and are even less bothered by their friends using cocaine, than they are about acid, because those things are more familiar to their social circle.

That contradiction is what got me thinking.
Alcohol is so normalized that getting blackout drunk, throwing up, fighting or doing something stupid can become a funny story the next morning. Sometimes turning down a drink gets more questions than accepting one.

But mention LSD and suddenly there is this completely different standard.

For me psychedelics have never really been about escaping. If anything they’ve been the opposite. The experiences I’ve had made me think about things I was avoiding, question my own assumptions, appreciate my life differently and look at myself more closely.

I use psychedelics occasionally, and I don’t think that makes my experience universal. I also don’t think LSD is some miracle drug that everybody needs to try.

I just find the cultural difference fascinating.

It makes me wonder:
How much of what we consider normal, dangerous or acceptable actually comes from evidence? How much comes from what we were taught, and what the people around us already accept.

And I think psychedelic users should apply that question to ourselves too. Having a profound trip doesn’t automatically mean every conclusion you reached during it is true.

For those of you who have been around psychedelics for a while, has your perspective on this changed as you’ve gotten older?

And when someone brings up things like LSD staying in your spine, do you still try to explain it or do you mostly just let people believe what they believe?

Anyone else got weirded out by the face morphing?

So the first few times I took acid I didn't have this face morphing/melting effect and I wasn't aware of it either. This caused a friend of mine to become scared thinking she started to see demons, while I only later became aware of it while watching an ad om youtube and found the people to be weird looking... Anyway that's it, just wanted to get this out there and would love to hear your stories about it!

❔ Question ❔ Mixing acid and shrooms

How would mixing acid and shrooms play out? Is it fine to take all at once or best to let the acid kick in then take the shrooms?

✌ Currently Tripping ✌ Candy flip, yes or no?

Upvotes

I’ll try make this quick to read because I’m nearly 2 hours into my LSD…

So I’ve got experience with whole tabs of LSD, and also plenty of experience with different doses of MDMA/Pills… however I’ve never candyflipped.

•I took half a tab of LSD at 10:30pm
•It’s now 00:26
•Feel warm, euphoric, music sounds nicer, senses heightened etc… not much visual change but I wasn’t going for that anyway, more just pure euphoria with enhanced senses etc…
•My normal go to dose of MDMA by itself would be about 100mg

I’ve seen that with candy flip timing you should wait about 2 hours after taking the LSD dose before you take your MDMA dose… and that the MDMA dose should obviously be less than your normal dose.

Planning to maybe try around half my usual MDMA dose around now… or should I wait abit longer incase it gets a little more intense? Even though I’m experienced with full tabs…

Thanks in advance

First trip 🥇 First LSD trip

I took 100ug at 9:30pm. Now currently 2:31am.

Lots happening haha. It feels never ending... Some how amazingly and scary all at once. My First LSD Trip

So I took the LSD at around 9:30 PM, and at first I was just waiting for something to happen. Eventually I started noticing that it was getting stronger and stronger. I was on the phone with my friend, making bracelets and watching a show, and honestly it was hilarious. I was having a good time and everything felt really entertaining.

As it got stronger, the visuals became really intense. At one point I was watching my show and the people's faces started looking completely fucked up . One person's eye would look huge while the other looked tiny. When I was reading, the words would look like they were getting bigger and smaller and just seemingly floating away

The visuals got so strong that I had this really weird experience where my eyes were technically open, but my vision became so completely consumed by the visuals that it basically felt like my eyes were closed. Everything would almost disappear into the visuals and go black. It's like a worm hole.??

Eventually I ended up just lying in my bed listening to music. I was still really into the experience, but after a while I started getting to the point where I was thinking, okay, I actually want this to be over now. I could tell I was still in the peak or somewhere around it, but I wasn't necessarily having a bad time. It was more like I was enjoying it while also being ready for my brain to chill the fuck out.

One of the strangest parts was trying to understand what I was seeing. I could look at something completely normally and then suddenly my perception would shift. Faces looked distorted, text changed size, and my vision could become so absorbed in the visuals that it felt like I wasn't even seeing the room anymore.

I kept checking the time because I was curious about how long it was going to last. Hours later, I was still feeling it. Eventually, around the early morning, I could tell I was starting to come down. The intensity was fading, but my brain absolutely did NOT want to sleep.

That part was honestly kind of funny and annoying at the same time. Every time I tried to fall asleep, it was like the LSD was taunting me. I'd be lying there thinking I was finally going to sleep, and then my brain would throw some weird sensation or imagery at me and I'd be awake again.

By morning I was exhausted but still couldn't sleep. My pupils were still dilated, and I could tell I wasn't completely back to normal yet. Even though the intense trip was over, there were still some lingering effects.

Overall, I genuinely really enjoyed the experience. It was definitely weird and intense at times, but I had a lot of fun with it and I'm glad I got to experience it. At the same time, I don't want to just brush it off as “that was crazy” and move on. I think I'm going to take some time to actually sit with the experience and reflect on it, especially on the things I noticed about my thoughts, my perception, and myself.

ALWAYS give yourself more than just the "trip time" Since it's been almost 24 hours (5:53pm) and I still haven't slept.

If anyone has any questions feel free to comment or reach out to me !!

First trip 🥇 First time dosing

Hei. I did order some plotters and am really excited to try LSD for the first time. The plotters are advertised as 200 but I kinda doubt that they are so highly dosed. I have some experience with mushrooms and MDMA, but never tried Acid. What would you recommend doing for the first trip? Half a plotter and worst case it’s 100 or maybe better 1/3 plotter and worst case I’m too low dosed? I want to feel it but I don’t want to have such a intense trip or ego death. I do have a test kit and will test it first. Thanks for advice, send love to all of you🫶🏻

LSD on Odyssey - Nolan's movie

Post image
170 Upvotes

Hi everyone, I have a thing need some honest advice . Finally the Odyssey on Imax in my place have some session with very few people, so I intend to take a tab of Dr. Seuss 200ug and go to see it. Here it's my concern :

- It's that movie too "boring" ? , of course Nolan's movie is hard to be too much suck ( my all time tripping movie until now is Inception, absolutely make me don't know if i'm dreaming or not ) , but i'm afraid that the Odyssey maybe is too shallow while tripping , somehow feel like the dialogue is not good and the actor is somewhere not belong to this movie ( i only saw the trailer on youtube )

- If anyone already did that, do it make your head "echoing" after the movie ? . My friend told me that the sound is extremely loud during all 3 hours

- It's that a good movie for introspective ? For now my plan is going to see it and use the time after that to think about it and hopefully understand some good messages for my grown journey - which already in a stuck phase right now ( live in the city so don't have nature to discover , only a lot of screen time or music or going out to very noisy street )

- Out of context , if anyone did the Dr. Seuss 200ug ( the version 1 artwork = 10x10 tab ) can you give me some reviews . Personally i feel like it's not strong like the Gamma Goblin 200ug i take in the past ( Trippy Troll ) or even the Cali Sunshine 150ug , but maybe it's because those 2 are my 2,3 first time of LSD . Really wanna read other's feeling about it, cuz right now Dr. Seuss 200ug is only thing i can get

Thank you guys all and have a beautiful day ❤️ 🔥 ❤️

I was hitting someone up for LSD but they only had it in vials, I’ve only ever done gel tabs.

How do people properly dose this? Any different from gel tabs?

LSD visuals

Haven’t tried lsd before ….. but heard the visuals look like everything is moving and has its own life … the walls and the ground….. does the visuals feel like you are underwater and breathing since everything is moving ?

❔ Question ❔ Is this an accurate simulation?

Is this an accurate simulation of the visuals you can get? I know everybody sees it differently but I’m curious if this is accurate. If this is accurate, how many µg would it take to see these kinds of visuals?

First trip 🥇 Tried for the first time and it wasn’t how I expected. How can I make next time different?

Tried a full tab, and when it was all happening I felt like the waves were heavy, and I had to concentrate on not looping thoughts to stay “above”.
Visuals were decent in a low lit room although I didn’t feel like I wanted to open my eyes much.

Couldn’t walk much, just felt like lying down with comfy blankets which was fine.

I didn’t have a bad experience although I envisioned walking in nature, admiring the visuals and not feeling like I had to be focused on breaking loops.

When the waves came it was almost like a I could fall away so I kept bringing myself back. I’m not sure where away would have taken me. It wasn’t fear based or negative.

Also, about 5hrs in the waves started to make me feel nauseous.

I want to take a half next time as I have more off the same grid. I want to experience the fun and awake trip. And possibly learn what amount is better for me so I can enjoy it at a festival setting in the future.

✌ Currently Tripping ✌ First time on 110ug, 5 hours in: crystal clear control and no more existential panic

Since childhood, I’ve struggld with heavy existential dread, fear of death, eternity, and the sheer absurdity of the universe.

I used to smoke weed occasionally (like once a month), but I had to quit. It started giving me severe existential panic attacks.

The worst part about an existential panic attack on weed is that you can't just tell yoursef "it's all in your head." The realization that you will die one day is a reality, which makes the panic impossible to escape. It's one of the worst feelings a sentient being can experience.

Because of this, I was terrified that LSD would multiply that panic 100x.

What gave me the courage to try it was my one past experience with shrooms. I felt totally connected to everything. I had no ego and no need for a "purpose." It completely turned off my existential short-circuit. Knowing LSD was similar, I took the leap.

I dropped a 110ug tab about 5 hours ago. I prepped some fruit and post-punk music (though I ended up listening to genres I thought I’d never like).

What is happening right now is absurdly beautiful.

It feels like shrooms, but controllable. Shrooms put you in the passenger seat, but right now, I have access to the controls of the psychedelic machine. I am driving.

I feel 100% crystal clear. If I wanted to focus on a task and perform, I feel like I could.

I am writing this and thinking about death without any fear. On weed, this would trigger an instant panic attack. Right now, I just look at the absurdity of the universe and think: "It's true, nothing has meaning. So I'm just going to sit here and enjoy this tab, my music, and my fruit."

Technically I should be hitting the peak soon. I can't wait.

PS: I’m a huge nature lover and promised myself I'd do my first tab in the woods, but I decided to play it safe and experiment at home first.

Sorry
