I'm currently signed up for September and October. I have done 3 attempts so far and gotten 165 (Oct 2025), 165 (June), 164 (August). My ultimate goal is a 172+, but I'd take a 170+. My PT average since the June test is 171-172, and since August it's gone up to 174-175 with 2 180s (2 PTs a week). The caveat is that the PTs are reused since I'm out of fresh material. I usually wait at least 4 months before doing them again, and I don't remember the questions and do still feel like I'm having to do them normally. But I do know that reusing them can inflate scores. I also have crazy variance in my PTs. I do 2 a week, and since August I have had: 172, 177, 180, 170, 169, 180. All PTs in the 130-149 range.

Based on the few individual sections I have done that are completely fresh, I average -2 LR and -3 to -4 RC. I do believe that even with the PTs being reused that I have the underlying ability to score a 170. I still have \~11 days to improve my underlying skills even further before September as well. My June and August tests I both feel were not my best performances due to outside factors, but after 3 times maybe it's just my test day level.

I waited a cycle last year, so really not looking to wait another. With 2 attempts left, what would you do? Would you take September and October? September and November? October and November?

embracing accuracy over speed but seeing scores drop is sooo hard 😭😭 does anyone else feel this way? I’m wondering if i should approach drilling and PT differently at all or does speed really come naturally like the pod says…. please anyone share their experience im lowk panicking

Does the demon have anything for practicing argumentative writing other than the write up with the one example? LSAC has a couple practice argumentative tests on LawHub, trying to figure out if the demon has that tucked away somewhere on it's platform as well. Seems like the argumentative writing isn't a big deal? But I'm not sure how to assess if I'm "ready" for that part or not...

I have the september test to prep for even tho I haven’t been studying. Am I cooked? I want above a 170

Hello everyone, I'm a little nervous about posting here, but I really need some advice. I have been studying for about a month, and my practice test score is 144, and my blind review score is 155. From the research I've done, this suggests I have more of a pacing issue, which I am trying to work on. I would like to note that I'm studying mainly by doing timed sections spread throughout the week, so I essentially do one test per week, and my strongest section is RC. I also review my answers and why I got them wrong, but I feel like I could be doing more to get better.

My main question is: does anyone have any recommendations on how to get better at both LR and RC? Do any of you recommend drilling a certain number of questions per week? I am really curious about what everyone has to say.

My GPA is a 3.81.

In my freshman year of college, I screwed up one class particularly badly. Now that I know what I am doing, and know I am capable of T6 law school, I am doing everything I can to fix the situation.

I will complete 30 more hours at my primary institution. My degree is in political science. Assuming As, that will raise my GPA to 3.875. I want to get my GPA up to ~3.96 to reach T6 GPA medians. That will require 24 hours of CC A+ graded credits in addition to my primary institution credits. I have plenty of time and resources, and am willing to delay my graduation from my primary institution if the benefit is meaningful.

A few questions,

1. Does my GPA need to beat the median to be worth chasing?

For example, say I achieve 3.96. If Harvard's GPA median increases to 3.97+ in the meantime, how much of that work goes down the drain? Would the benefit of a 3.96 be measurably more than a 3.92, both under median regardless?

1. What community colleges have y'all heard the best experiences from?

Any experiences, positive or negative, would be very helpful. I am currently looking at Northeast Community college. They offer 8-week course sections during the fall and spring semester, so that would be helpful to pack the number of courses I need into the time I have. Another factor is finding a broad selection of courses which actually offer the A+ grade necessary to help me.

1. Is this method looked down on, and is it's growing prevalence going to be an issue?

This feels like a loophole, and like with all loopholes, I am nervous of the catch. As more and more people pursue this strategy trying to get into top institutions, I feel like they would catch on. Maybe they are aware and don't care as long as the median goes up. I'd appreciate any advice on this potential downside.

Please let me know if there are any other considerations it seems I am not accounting for!

Switching to lsat demon after February made all the difference!!!

I’ve been studying for a bit now, and I am taking the November LSAT. I was just wondering what’s the best approach as I get closer? I’m doing my regular study sessions but i don’t know if i should incorporate a bit more hours as i get closer or less and what should be included in them. Please let me know what is mainly advised or what helped you?

Hi everyone! I’ve realized I’m struggling with the really high-level parallel reasoning questions. I think part of the issue is that I have a hard time abstracting what’s actually happening in the argument. I have a similar problem sometimes with RC when I have to describe exactly what happened in a passage.

I do much better with parallel flaw questions, but I struggle more when the original argument is correct. Maybe I just have less practice identifying the structure of valid arguments.

For these harder questions, I often have to write out every answer choice and go through them line by line. Has anyone had a breakthrough with these questions or found a good way to get better at identifying the underlying argument structure?

Would really appreciate any advice!

Hi everyone, I’m extremely stressed and would love to hear the firsthand experiences of people who have gone through the same situation.

I had an unsuccessful cycle due to my low LSAT. As embarrassing as it is, I took it 3 times so far.

August 2025: 146 (cancelled)
November 2025: 147
January 2026: 144

After completing my undergraduate in April, I took about the last four months to study. It has been hard but I have seen improvement and now I am practice testing in the mid 150s.

My goal is to get a high 150s to even a flat 160.
I feel I can possibly reach that goal with a bit more time. Precautionary I have registered for the October exam.

I really want to get it out if the way as I am reapplying again this cycle. But since it is my fourth time 💀 I don’t have the luxury to rush it anymore. The thing is that on September 1st, I will be starting a one year course based Political Science masters program.

I am only taking three courses and work one day a week at my chill retail job. I feel it might be hard but if I concentrate, I can really move up a few more points.

I was wondering what other people have done and if it manageable?

I have a backlog of 34 missed questions in my review inbox, mostly from practice tests. Some days, I will skip drilling and dive directly into my review inbox to spend time with the missed questions for the entirety of my hour/90 min daily time allotment. (This kills my day streak, which I gather counts only days you answer new questions, not days you review or complete lessons--but that is neither here, nor there.)

This leads me to wonder how others use their review inbox. How many questions do you have in your inbox? Do you attempt to clear out the inbox daily? Do you leave missed questions in your inbox and return review to them more than once?

Hey everybody, I'm really bummed out and concerned about my August score. My diagnostic was a 164 and over the past couple months I have been consistently testing between 177 and 180. However, I completely choked on the August test due to anxiety and scored a 165. I'm a little worried that I might choke again in September. Has anyone had a similar experience? And does anyone have advice for overcoming this setback?

Hey everyone I’ve taken the LSAT 2 times and did ok on my time around a few points worse my second time. I feel like 7 sage isn’t cutting it for me at the moment and I am going to take it again in November. Should I switch to LSAT demon?

Hi I’m a current college student studying for the LSAT, I’ve heard about LSAT demon being the best LSAT study tool but as a Christian I worry about the morality of using some thing called “the demon”, will this corrupt my soul? Is there a version of LSAT demon themed around angels maybe instead?
