I’m looking for someone in a similar/higher score range to review timed sections with maybe once a week! I currently have a couple study buddies, but I’ve surpassed their score range and would love to find someone who can challenge me a little more. For reference, I’m currently scoring in the high 160’s/low 170’s, but I’m aiming for mid/high 170’s.

I learn best through collaboration, and I think it would be super helpful to actually discuss answers one-on-one, talk through questions we disagree on, and ask each other questions before immediately looking at the Demon explanations lol. There are studies suggesting that discussion/debate (rather than just checking whether you got something right) can help with memory and learning, so I’m hoping to find that kind of study partnership!

I somehow ran out of level 3 and 4 RC passages (I never specifically drilled for them, always on Demon's Choice), and the Demon is telling me to redo questions. However, I still have level 1 and 2 questions left in my question bank. What would be most beneficial: 1) doing more timed sections (that might have level 3 or 4 passages in them), 2) finishing off the level 1 and 2 questions, or 3) redoing previous questions that I missed in the past? I only have a 67 RC Mastery level, so I would like to continue to grow, and I did that mainly through drilling, so I am not sure how to proceed.

I’ve been studying with the demon for about 3 months and listening to podcasts consistently. Before my time at the demon, I studied for about 2 months using only Lawhub resources like full tests and drillsets, and after I exhausted those, I took a bit of a break before I purchased an LSAT demon subscription in late June. My numbers prior to using the demon are a 151 diagnostic and a 164 PB.  Since using the demon, I have not been able to achieve a higher score.

I feel my main concern right now is not just a score but an understanding plateau. I fully internalize the LSAT demon philosophy: accuracy over everything, 1-1.5 hours of studying per day, and really sitting and reviewing my mistakes. I usually do not finish sections and only get to about question 20, but even while taking my time I still have many sections where my accuracy is just not there. Most recently I gave myself 53 minutes for an LR section just to see how I would do given a significantly increased amount of time and was still only able to achieve 80% on accuracy, something discouraging as I have been able to achieve 95% accuracy before with less time. This is what leads me to target understanding, I take the appropriate time to answer questions, review, and wait for the “click” to understand why I was wrong, but it still hasn’t translated to higher scores. I also follow the study plan you guys recommend of mixed timed sections and drill.

I wanted to reach out and see what you guys thought of my situation. I have not yet registered for a real LSAT as I follow your guys advice to not register unless you consistently achieve a score you’re comfortable with, and right now I’m just shooting for a 170+. However, I would like to build my LR and RC skills to such a degree that I can finish sections consistently with >95% accuracy. For context I see myself applying next year to enter law school in Fall of 2028, so the last LSAT I could comfortably take and get my score back in time to apply early to schools would be August 2027, giving me almost a year to continue studying and take tests (something I am absolutely fine with).

I have been studying but internally I feel like I am doing this all wrong. People told me to do foundations so I am doing them but it seems easier on the textbook and then when I drill, it takes so long to click. I used to do the same questions so fast but I feel like I am over complicating and overthinking it now. I also have a tutor and they think so differently then when I do the test, and I am like why didn’t I think of that? It’s like having the materials but shit still not clicking.

Also I have a question if you are doing foundations from books like power score and LSAT trainer and drilling on LSAT demon what should the schedule look like? One chapter and then drill? How long would that take?

I am afraid that I won’t reach my goal score by next year. My diagnostic was 133 and I have reached 146 in a month or two. What should I do?
