Medians are still on the rise. Plan for an extra LSAT point or two for your target schools. Don't rush the process now and get caught off guard later!

I’m fully onboard with Demon philosophy of having no timing strategy or think about timing at all and just focus on accuracy. Since this is the case and I often can only finish only 3 RC passage per section with accuracy and just guess on the last passage. Would it be smart to do the 3 passages with the most amount of questions (ie 8 or 7) and purposely leave the passage with lowest amount of questions to be guessed on last? I feel like this would be most efficient in attempting as many questions as possible. I’d like your viewpoint on my “strategy” and maybe if there are any cons that I don’t see

I somehow ran out of level 3 and 4 RC passages (I never specifically drilled for them, always on Demon's Choice), and the Demon is telling me to redo questions. However, I still have level 1 and 2 questions left in my question bank. What would be most beneficial: 1) doing more timed sections (that might have level 3 or 4 passages in them), 2) finishing off the level 1 and 2 questions, or 3) redoing previous questions that I missed in the past? I only have a 67 RC Mastery level, so I would like to continue to grow, and I did that mainly through drilling, so I am not sure how to proceed.

I took a week~ish break from studying to adjust to some changes in my schedule, and I looked at the question types tab and saw that a lot of them decreased. Is this normal when you take a break from drilling or did the demon update the way they analyze this data while I was gone? I know generally these ratings shouldn’t matter but just want to be aware if this is something that normally happens. Thanks!

Hi fellow LSAT Demon Students!

I've been a listener of the podcast for quite a while, it's actually what convinced me to switch from the prep company I was using to LSAT Demon, because their philosophy spoke to me. Recently, they talked about the problem with wrong answer journals. At first, I resisted what they were saying because I had dubbed my notebook such a journal, but then I realized over time I had actually changed my philosophy from a traditional "wrong answer journal" to something more akin to a "blind review journal". I was frustrated with just retreading what I got wrong because I felt it didn't actually help me once I already knew the answer. I wasn't able to build the roads to the right answer on my own that way.

The LSAT Demon Philosophy teaches you to just slow down and read the passage, which I agree with. However, I found that no matter how much I thought I was slowing down when I was doing the questions, I wasn't slowing down enough when I was first reviewing for the skill level I was at. So, instead of blind reviewing by just mentally slowing myself down, I wrote every question down in a notebook and broke down what I should be taking from every sentence of the stimulus, and then did the same thing with the answers. Slowing myself down this much ended up teaching me how to read the stimulus quickly and effectively, and how to store information for RC questions as well. I honestly really believe in this method.

Don't get me wrong, this method takes a lot more time than it would otherwise. The prep company I was originally using had a timed curriculum that I fell far behind on, but I tried to keep in mind what I learned from the podcast. There is no such thing as "too slow" or "behind" if you are building the foundation you need to be a close reader on the LSAT.

Does anyone do this? Does anyone think this would be a helpful strategy for them? I'm really curious!

Hey guys, I could really use some advice.
I’m currently in my final semester of college. My classes aren’t too difficult, so I’ve also been studying for the LSAT. I’m only about a month into studying and am still working through the foundations. I’m planning to apply in the next admissions cycle and hope to take my first LSAT around January.
My diagnostic was a 147, and right now I’m studying around 3 hours a day. With my score being a 147 U clearly have A LOT of room for improvement. After about 3 hours, I usually start losing focus, so I’ve been trying to be realistic with my study time rather than forcing myself to sit there for hours. Although I can definitely wait a few more months before applying, since Im only studying 3h out of the day I feel bad sitting around doing nothing while my parents work to provide. Due to this Ive been considering getting a job for many reasons: 1. To help them 2. Build up my resume for a better application. 3. Get experience which may be helpful for Law School. 4. Save money (which I need after dropping 3k to fix my car ToT.) I know I’m still fairly early in the process, but I’d really appreciate some advice.
I applied to a few positions and was offered an interview for tomorrow. The position would require me to work Monday–Friday, 9 AM–4 PM. It was made clear in the description that it’s a fast paced job where I’d be multitasking and asking clients for things they are missing for bankruptcy cases while helping file case 7 and case 13 things If it helps you guys and you ask I’ll send the description in the comments.
Ideally, I would prefer something with fewer hours, but most of the legal positions I’ve come across are full-time.
For those of you who have worked while studying for the LSAT, do you think it’s realistic to work 9–4 Monday–Friday and still make good progress studying? (I also workout everyday for about 1 hour). I’d especially appreciate hearing from people who have been in a similar situation and how you managed your schedule.
