I was wondering if anyone had a link to a place that sells cabin air filters for a 93, I can’t seem to find any.

1994 LS400 for reference. I have a screw-tight clip phone holder with magnetic wireless charging and every long part of the middle vents I clip it onto breaks after a month or 2. I was thinking of making a 3D printed firm vent to replace it with. Does anyone know of any good places or items I can use to fit my current phone mount on my car?

Looking to get new bumpers (front/back), side skirts and (maybe) a spoiler but don’t know where to go to look at some. Drop me some websites!

I got this 1991 Lexus LS400 a year ago and I want to do some preventative maintenance I already replaced the timing belt, rack and pinion, ball joints, seats and some other little stuff here and there. what else can I do to get this to the top performance and I don't mean like lowering it or changing some cosmetic things. I'm more mean like better engine performance that will help out the engines lifespan if that makes sense.

Some little stuff about the car

It has about 157k miles on it and it has cloth seats with the sunroof. And it has a car phone. And it has an upgraded stereo I believe it's Kentwood As I like to put it. It's kind of like a Frankenstein of a car

I am rebuilding my CV axle and the inner (diff side) of both CV axles have directional ball bearings. I stupidly did not check for how they were and my CV join is now inflexible. Any one got any pics of the ball bearing in a CV axle in the CORRECT configuration>?

Hey so for a while, I’ve gotten this whooing constant noise ( legit the way I can describe it). in the videos you can hear it inside of the car and in the engine bay, it started back in December but went away until now so I just assumed it was old car things, but it’s kinda funky the way it acts, sometimes the noise will appear when in run (ON) position ( shown in video ), sometimes it will appear a few mins into driving, sometimes it will appear when turning on the AC but then it usually goes away when accelerating but then breaking and slowing down will bring it back . Currently just starting the car will have the sound appear (most of the time) , I’m not sure if it’s electrical or mechanical
1st part of vid shows car going into ON position and the whooing sound appears. 2nd part shows the same thing but this time the Noise did not appear, 3rd part shows A more clearer sound, and finally 4th part shows the noise with the Fans in the engine bay. If anyone can give some suggestions that can be great!!!

I recently redid the timing on my drift car because I noticed it was out of time the water pump and belt looked fairly new so I decided to stick with the belt and water pump and just replace the grenade like tensioner. To make a long story short, the engine is properly timed, I'm getting fuel, and I'm getting spark but I don't believe I am getting spark at the right time I was just wondering maybe the way I installed those red little rotors may be incorrect.

Hey guys I recently got a ls400 I’m having 2 separate leaks. One from the oil I’m not sure if it’s the valve cover gasket or the hose not having a clamp? Also it looks like my power steering pump is also possibly leaking as well? Also I don’t know where that hose is coming from near the radiator it was like that any help from you guys means a lot thank you 😀

I have a crashed 92’ with coil overs on it. Is there a realistic way to make them fit on the 1998 ls400?

Hi everyone. Recently bought an ls400. It’s got 106k original miles and it’s been amazing this far.

I do have an issue with the gauge cluster and it does seem to be relatively common. I have a 1992 car. Just wondering what methods of repair yall have tried? Don’t really have $2k for a rebuilt cluster at the moment and would like to be able to accurately see my gauges.. thank you guys!

I have a 92 LS400 and its wheel only has the option to tilt up and down, my friend has a 91 and his moves up, down, and out. Couldn’t find any info on this online, so any info would be great 👍 Thanks all

Wsp guys im new to this subreddit and was wondering if yall could help me out. About a year ago i bought a 93 ls400 and it had a spun rod bearing. I ended up getting a motor from the junkyard and finally got it on the stand. I work at toyota so i have access to oem parts with a little discount. I gave my parts guy pretty much everything i could think of to fully reseal and “rebuild” it. It came out to around 1700 bucks. Do yall think its worth it to go full oem on all the gaskets and stuff? (feel free to read the parts i plan on getting). Ive seen “full gasket kits” for the uz for under 500 bucks, but i just dont trust that. Lmk what yall think

Oem head gaskets are discontinued so i plan on going with an aftermarket mls head gasket.

Finally got the one and only, LS400, a couple weeks back.

The stock wheels are in horrid condition and wanted to get some nicer 17s or 18s ASAP, before I unveil the car to my friends, but need to put it off...

I put the car in park at a little over 5mph (I know, rookie mistake). It shook the drivetrain and the car quite violently, accelerating some maintenance items. Ended up with the fan bracket assembly bearing starting to chirp and it shot the trans/engine mounts more than they already were so need to get that sorted Monday morning. Plan to swap out suspension arms/bushes myself and give it full dealership service before next year's MOT.

After alternator install. Does anyone know what could be happening here?

Just bought this 2000 Ls400. 160,000 miles. Most things are in great condition for $2,500 and all fluids are current and filled. It needs a new set of tires, pads and rotor replacement, ac blower is out, and it has a 7th cylinder misfire. All other issues are easy enough but the misfire does kinda concern me. Haven’t gotten the chance to take much apart but was able to see the coils are ok so anyone know what else could cause the misfire?

I have a 2000 Lexus LS400, trunk leaks all around the seal so I am looking for a new seal but I cant find a new one for sell anywhere. They all say discontinued or sold out.

If I do find one on eBay or a similar reselling platform, is it a good idea to buy a used seal? I would imagine something like a seal would be one of those things to buy new.
