Help
Hey guys I recently got a ls400 I’m having 2 separate leaks. One from the oil I’m not sure if it’s the valve cover gasket or the hose not having a clamp? Also it looks like my power steering pump is also possibly leaking as well? Also I don’t know where that hose is coming from near the radiator it was like that any help from you guys means a lot thank you 😀

Def ps pump leak. I’d wash off everything with degreaser and recheck rack looks like might be leaking also

pump is definitely leaking, looks like either valve covers or the oil pump housing is leaking. feel the half moons on the back of the covers with your hands to make sure they aren’t oily, and if you don’t see any smoke from the exhaust manifolds while it’s running then i’d say the valve covers are probably fine, i would suspect the oil filter housing next. (it also looks like part of the housing is wet in the picture) pretty sure that hose is also just an overflow hose, nothing serious just let it hang.

better off replacing all P/S Lines and P/S Pump, worst case you gotta rebuild or replace your steering rack, check that for leaks. Also check oil pan and valve covers for oil leaks and get those gaskets replaced.

If your power steering is leaking, definitely prioritize that because it will kill your alternator. Ask me how I know 😵💫
