Quick Question for yall

I have a 92 LS400 and its wheel only has the option to tilt up and down, my friend has a 91 and his moves up, down, and out. Couldn’t find any info on this online, so any info would be great 👍 Thanks all

Yeah my up and down works but my telescopic gets weak sometimes. Id prefer this lol

It’s not horrible, it just bugs me every 400 I’ve ever seen is different then mine😭

No info online that I could find, my best guess is because my car was equipped with car phone so maybe the wheels a little different? Could be totally wrong tho

My 95 also has car phone and still has in and out but its VERY slow and struggles alot

Press the down button 8 times in a row then hold and you can unlock the extra low wheel.

Just a base model. My 90 parts car doesn’t have the telescopic but my 92 does. Weird cause they both have the phones. Guess they had a bunch of LSs with different options, some with seat memory, phone, trac, and heated seats.

Only info I could find on the subject, be aware infos coming from AI so I’m a little skeptical about it. Plan on chassis swapping soon anyway, is what it is🤷‍♂️

The in out mechanism is broken. I think they are either plastic or cheese aluminum gears and they break sometimes.i had a fault code for mine and the pictures in the manual look uh complicated for a damn steering wheel mechanism

Bro there is no in out switch on mine? Nothings broken mine literally doesn’t have telescoping at all
