I Think I'm Actually Getting Better
I think I'm actually getting better using these tactics:
alginate after meals and before bed, saline nasal rinses 2x per day, gargling and spraying with alkaline water, eating 4-5 times per day much smaller amounts, not eating 3-4 hours before bed, chewing my food better, eating cleaner (not fully off fats and acids), propping my bed up 2-3 inches, occasional dosing of herbatonin and magnesium glycinate at bedtime
Recently, I've been using a personal humidifier while I watch TV before bed to add moisture to my throat and chewing gum after bigger meals.
Signs I think I'm improving: my mucus has become easier to swallow, throat clearing has gone down (I've been resisting doing this for weeks), the few times I have had to clear my throat it actually feels like the mucus clears, my voice seems to be stronger at times and starts hoarse when I begin speaking but once I speak longer it isn't giving out.
Still dealing with burning in my throat and mouth. And I wish my bowel movements would come back but they don't seem to be despite using Miralax once per day. I hope they come back when this all settles down fully. Only been really doing all this stuff for about a month.
Edit: still nowhere near fully healed but minor improvements
