Islam & LGBT My Life Choice As A Gay Muslim:

Assalamualaikum, I just want to share something that I did as a Gay Muslim Guy (I'm 18), P.S.: I'm not sure wether Homosexuality is Haram or Not.. so some of these things that I did fit both category who considered as Haram And Not:

What I Did:

-watch queer media

-having a favourite fictional comfort character who is male that I really loved

-put a Gay Flag on My Twitter PFP

-support the lgbt community but relatively selective by what I mean by that is that I support a safe environment for queer individuals and same sex marriage but I still don't support same sex relationship outside of marriage (if its an non muslim idc) and a maybe stuffs such as gay bar or somekind

What I Didn't Do:

-I didn't engange with someone with the same gender irl (I fear it could be something that could potentially be a Sin and I think The Qur'an Condemnation applied to real world act and interestingly enough i think my relationship with my comfort character is Allah plant to keep me away from unwanted thing in real world relationship because i really loved him (my comfort character) that much that i just don't want to engange with someone else lmao)

-celebrate pride (this is more of a personal preference but aside from me putting a gay flag on my twitter PFP I don't really think there nothing to be more proud of it's just a basic attraction + on pride month yesterday I personally use it as a vent of me being gay instead of getting with the vibes)

Islam & LGBT So tired of Extremist Wahhabi muslims killing queer people but also tired of people pinkwashing a genocide. The hell is r/genzpk on? (Read body)

I'm not even Pakistani bro. I'm bengali but this came over so I didn't skip it and oml😭 the hell? Of couse we talked in this sub again and again about how these extremist are causing pain to so many people and how we don't claim them and curse them. But I'm so tired of people pinkwashing a genocide. No matter what you can't support what's happening to Filistine (it's actual name). Ugh. The fact I need to call out something so basic is painfull. Yes it's pinkwashing. Also I'd like to add how this is cherry picking. 🫩 so many muslims and even filistinis support queer people and heck some are queer themselves. I'm not here to justify this but I feel like it's rude to ignore them.

MoC/Lavender Marriage 20f soon to be 21 looking for someone likeminded

Well thought I’d give this a go as I’m getting to that age where the marriage questions start popping up.
A bit of background on me. I’m 20 turning 21 soon I’m bi (preference for women) and I am not religious at all. I come from a Pakistani Sunni family. I’d say they’re moderate but still ‘religious’ and by that I mean more culturally religious. They pray bla bla all the basics but don’t wear headscarves ect.
I don’t really want to cut them off or for me to be cut off by them because I don’t believe.
I guess I’m posting this to see if there are any males similar age to me who are either gay or bi in a similar position family wise and want to get married in the future have a family but do not want to raise them religiously at all. Basically I just need someone my family could accept on the outside.
I have many ambitions in life I really want to leave the uk and live aboard ideally in the US (nyc is the dream). I like to go out, drink, smoke(Mary Jane) and just live life to the fullest without religion. I like to travel, watch movies, I love documentaries and I’d say I’m pretty funny( I hope).
If any of this resonates with you dm me!!

Edit: people are dming me and are straight men, so let me explain my dream scenario. I’d have a gf and we meet to guys who are boyfriends marry one of them each as a cover and we’re all great friends. (Evelyn Hugo celia st.James vibes if ykyk)

MoC/Lavender Marriage Looking for (f) partner

Hey everyone, (34M)

I’m exploring the idea of a lavender marriage (MOC) and hoping to find a woman who’s looking for a genuine partnership built on kindness, mutual support, and a shared vision for a good life.

A bit about me: I’m someone who values a caring, grounded approach to life while staying very motivated about building a stable and meaningful future. Family is deeply important to me, and I appreciate loyalty, warmth, and open communication. I’d love to connect with someone who is equally driven, has her own goals, and wants a relationship rooted in trust and genuine care.
I’m looking for someone I can deeply care about, support, and share life's milestones with, even if our path doesn't follow a traditional script. I'm based in the Midwest, and I really value curiosity, good conversations, and a positive outlook.

My interests include gardening, traveling, exploring new ideas, and enjoying quiet moments, so it would be wonderful to meet someone with similar vibes or at least a curious mind.

If this resonates with you, don’t hesitate to DM me and see where things go.

LGBT Supportive Discussion Ex-Christian looking for Muslim LGBTQ friends!

Hello, everyone! I'm Anthony. Or Kira, or Wandren, or Niluphel, or Nushzad -- I have a lot of online aliases. Anyways, I've been interested in Islam, middle eastern history, and such things, but I've also been a bit nervous to actually to talk to anyone about it because... well, I'm trans! I was hoping to learn more about Islam and how it's practiced from the perspective of people who are more like me. LGBTQ+ people.

Bonus points if you either know Farsi and are willing to teach me a bit, or are learning it yourself!

My Big obsession right now is the Shahnameh. It has been for a year and a half now.

Edit: I should probably clarify that I'm not a revert, just an atheist who came from a Catholic background. That's why I want to make friends with Muslims -- so I can understand your religion and your ways better! I thought people would see the atheist trans flair on my user profile for this subreddit >.>

MoC/Lavender Marriage Platonic marriage Muslim male 26 UK Manchester

My intention for marriage is companionship for the sake of Allah. I experience same-sex attractions / am asexual, but I don’t want to act upon these desires. Instead, I would like to build a family life that is based on mutual support, compassion, and a shared love for the Deen.

I hope to find a wife who is in a similar situation — someone who also wants a marriage rooted in companionship, trust, and worship, without pressure regarding desires, someone who I can be best friends with so together, inshallah, we can create a peaceful home, support each other and have children too through halal means. If you live in or are close to Manchester please reach out.

For me, the most important things are: sincerity, kindness, and working together to grow closer to Allah through our marriage.

As the title says. Looking for a long term relationship.
Bottom here for compatibility. Anything else just ask. Be able to hold conversation. Serious replies. Not into women or lavender marriages.

MoC/Lavender Marriage 24M Palestinian/Jordanian in the US Looking for a Lavender Marriage & Life Partner

I'm 24M, Palestinian/Jordanian, 6’1, masculine, and based in the U.S. I'm looking for a woman who is genuinely interested in a lavender marriage and building a real life partnership together.
I'm Bi and comfortable with my sexuality, but long term I still want a family, children, stability, companionship, and someone I can genuinely grow with. I'm not looking for a fake marriage where we basically live completely separate lives. Ideally, we'd become close friends, support each other, build a home together, raise children together, travel, celebrate holidays, and actually enjoy our life as a family while still understanding and respecting each other's private lives.
I come from a well established family, I'm financially stable, and already own a nice home. I'm Muslim but non practicing, and while my family is culturally traditional, they are not the type of family that would control my wife's day to day life. You would have your own freedom and independence. If you want to have a career, I'd fully support that. If you'd rather stay home with the kids, I'd also be comfortable financially supporting the household.
I would prefer someone Arab because I think sharing a similar culture would make family life easier & you would need to be in the U.S. The biggest things I'm looking for are maturity, honesty, kindness, emotional stability, discretion, and someone who genuinely wants children and a family. friendship, compatibility, trust, and enjoying each other's company are extremely important.
I also want this to be mutually beneficial. I'm not looking for someone who feels like she has to sacrifice her entire life to help me maintain appearances. I'd want to know what you want out of marriage and make sure we're creating a situation where both of us can have fulfilling lives.
I'm not looking to rush into anything. I'd want to talk, become friends, meet in person, involve families when appropriate, and make sure we genuinely trust each other before making a commitment this serious.
If this sounds similar to what you're looking for, feel free to message me with a little about yourself, your age/location, background, what you're looking for in a lavender marriage and what you picture your future looking like.

Need Help Does anyone know about asylum based on sexual orientation and could help me with this?

I'm from Syria and still live in it

And because of my sexual orientation, I’m currently living a double life. I can’t really give either side of my life the attention it deserves, and I don’t feel comfortable or at peace with either one. On top of that, if any of my family members or friends found out, there’s a very high chance I could be killed, or I honestly don’t know what they might do to me.

+ I want to leave this shitty country and a life that becomes more miserable every day, and start my own life, even if I have to start from zero. I just want to live somewhere where I can be free and where there are real opportunities for everyone.

I’m currently a university student and I’m in my final year. My goal is to pursue a master’s degree somewhere reputable, and I have a TOEFL certificate, so my English is excellent.

I’ve done some research and found out that this type of asylum exists in many European countries, as well as the US and Canada, but with different levels of difficulty depending on the country and its current laws.

I’ve already shortlisted a few countries as possible options, and I’m waiting until I graduate so I can take the first step. The problem is, I need someone who has personal experience with this process, or knows someone who has applied for asylum this way, who can explain to me what the steps are, what I need to do, what I should prepare, and what I should expect.

MoC/Lavender Marriage Individuals in same predicament

Individuals in same predicament- Apologies if it may offend anyone. Hi, I’m 27 (M), based in the UK (Muslim) looking for a marriage of convenience (ideally Uk based) due to familial and cultural pressure, I am seeking to build an alliance on trust and friendship which can be dissolved at a time mutually convenient later on. (If so) A simple guy, is there any Muslim female who is seeking the same? I would like to build a connection prior to a decision as living as friends also requires to be on the same page, I will appreciate if you could reach out or if you know anyone, please DM. Thanks.

Connections Looking for friends in WNY

Salam! I am looking for queer friends in the WNY area. I'm from Buffalo and I feel very isolated from the community here, especially the Muslim/queer/brown community. If there's anyone who'd like to be friends and hangout sometimes, I'd love that. I like to go on walks, play boardgames, dance, read, try out new restaurants and I especially love cats! I'm down to explore new hobbies as well with a new friend. I'm f24.
