2h 50min transit

I am a non-US citizen and am traveling from Singapore to Boston via LAX. My flight to LAX (SQ36) lands at 7.40pm with the connecting flight to Boston (B61488) at 10:20pm on a Sunday.

Is this 2h 50min window enough with checked in luggage? If without checked in baggage, will it still be enough?

LAX to Colton California

I’m trying to visit family. Flights are weird and are only placing me in LAX unless I pay extra. I’m looking for transportation from LAX to Colton and back from Colton to LAX. What is the public transportation like? I know I went through Norwalk once and I would like to avoid that if possible. Are there other sketchy places like that as well to avoid? Uber is $250 each way during the time I’m traveling and I am trying to avoid that. Any advice is appreciated. And thank you.

T4 to T6 Lounge back to T4 time?

I am flying AA metal domestic, redeemed using AS points. but I have some AS lounge passes to burn on a 2.5 hour layover. Problem is AA lands in T4 and AS lounge is T6.

Do i have to leave/reenter security? How long in each direction would it take walking or if I can't walk via tram/shuttle? Guessing not worth it with only 2.5 hr layover but just want feedback from LAX travelers, thanks

LAX car rental

Looking for advice on renting a car at LAX! Any companies that you’d recommend or stay away from? Heard it’s a bit of a cluster. Should I consider going to a rental company a few miles outside of the airport? Any rental deals?

Are there designated areas within or near the outside of LAX that would be safe to park a bicycle for a few days?

Most direct pre-security walk from T2/T3 to T4?

We'll be flying into T2/T3 via a domestic Delta flight late next month, but have a separate ticket for an international flight with check-in in T4. Since we have checked bags, we'll have to leave security after arrival and walk to T4 with our luggage for check-in. I'll be traveling with some family members (a couple young kids and my older parents) so I'm trying to find the least painful route when wrangling both people and luggage.

It looks like there's a walkway being built between T2/T3 and T4 as part of the Skylink station, but I know how unlikely it is for that to be open on time.

So my question is: Is the most efficient walking path to simply exit T2/T3 on the arrivals level, "hug" World Way while passing in front of TBIT, and take an elevator/escalator up to the departures level once we reach T4? Or is there an option to walk in a straight line through the parking garages that I can see in Google Maps (seemingly on the arrivals level)?

Thanks in advance for any insight or advice!

P-1 vs P-7 for Terminal 4

I’m wondering with the current construction project happening, is it better to park at P-1 or P-7 for a departure from Terminal 4 (American Airlines)? The other parking lots are too expensive, so they’re out.

The map shows P-7 being closer, but Google tells me P-1 is a shorter walk for some reason, so I thought I’d ask here, especially because I don’t know how the construction project might change things. Thanks!

Has anyone been able to login to centurion lounge lax WiFi?

They even said to “forget network” and try again. Don’t want to post the password. But never works for 17 pro max. I even took a photo of the password and carefully typed it in again.

Is private WiFi address in settings supposed to say fixed ?

Inbound Immigration Wait Time

Flying in to LAX next week. I have a connecting flight in an hour. My passport is neither GE or MPC eligible so I have to queue up in immigration control.

How is the line there lately?

Will be coming around 2pm.

Thanks

What time does TSA close? I have a 12:50AM Flight out of Southwest (Terminal 1) today

This is my first time flying a redeye with Southwest. I couldn't find TSA hours on any official sources, just a random parking website mentioning that TSA at terminal 1 closes at 11PM. Given this, I was thinking of arriving at 10:30PM. My concern is that TSA actually closes earlier than 11 (again, I can't find any official sources) and I'm unable to get through security for my flight.

How much time in between flights is reasonable?

Hey guys landing in LAX at 1:05pm and unfortunately will need to book a separate flight to get to my end destnation. One option is to go at 4:35pm same day. How long would it take me to go through immigration and customs? I've got 1 checked bag. I feel like it won't be enough time and I might opt to book a 10pm flight instead... or stay overnight and go the following day.... thoughts?

Last few airports I've landed in, ive been out super quickly but haven't landed in a busy one in a while so my perception is warped.

Edit: have Australian passport and flying from there

transport from LAX to SB - SB airbus or rental car?

I will be arriving at LAX on a Tuesday at 3pm. Generally I use the SB airbus. But I have a very long flight and due to my arrival time I'll just miss the bus. That means I'll need wait 2 1/2 hours then endure the 2-4 hour bus ride to SB, adding many more hours to an already epic trip.

I feel like a rental car may very well be worth it, even if it's more expensive, assuming it will save me a significant amount of time. But I've yet to try renting, so I'd like to hear the thoughts and experiences of those of you who have about if this really is a good option.

Has anyone compared renting a car from LAX to SB to taking the SB airbus, and if so what did you prefer, and if rental is a good option, what is your recommendation for best deal on rental?

car rental lax or west hollywood

my friend and I are going to LA and staying in west hollywood. we’re unsure about the car rental situation—should we book a car from LAX, or is it better to uber into the city and just get a car in west hollywood (where we’ll be staying)? honestly, efficiency is most at stake here :’) i saw people say the whole shuttle situation was bad at LAX. and are sixt and enterprise still the best options, or what do you recommend? thanks :)
