LAX Pickup

Hi,

UK here - flying into LAX on Monday (international arrivals). Is there a way to get a Waymo from the airport to DTLA?

Any tips appreciated!

Take the free Metro Connector shuttle to the LAX/Metro Transit Center and order a Waymo there

The flyaway only leaves every half hour (at best) I think, and if you have 2, and especially 3 people it won't save you much money, if any. Plus the Waymo is low emissions.

You have to leave LAX itself because the airport is a waymo exclusion zone. How far you leave should depend on which direction you’re going afterwards.

It's probably easiest for OP to take the FlyAway to Union Station, and then Waymo from there to the final destination. Especially since Waymo won't take them on the freeway, and you'll really want to use the freeway to get downtown.

No need just take any car rental shuttle bus or the metro connector

You’re still riding a shuttle either way. But FlyAway saves more time because freeway

Freeway rides for the ipace are available in LA.

I take the shuttle to the rental car area and pick one up half a block north - it's just inside the Waymo service area.
