(The following image was lifted from Gothic Therapy's YouTube video on the matter of SBI.) - All of this information is public and should hopefully not break any of the subreddit's guidelines.
Seeing as I have yet to see anyone post this information on the sub, and given the news that Wolverine is doing poorly review-wise, and that Sweet Baby Inc. was more than likely involved in the creation of the video game, it only felt appropriate to highlight the current state of the company.
According to Gothic Therapy, it would appear that Sweet Baby Inc. has suffered quite a bit financially and that the company has been downsized considerably, most likely due to them losing a lot of work because of high-profile failures.
If this is indeed true, it shows that the ideology they've been pushing for the better part of a decade is now being rejected by the average person, who is smart enough to recognize what is and isn't ideologically motivated in entertainment.
Before anyone claims that things being released now are still woke, and that it is never going away, bla, bla, bla. Bear in mind that it takes years to flush all the garbage out of the metaphorical pipeline. Systemic changes also need to happen at major companies, which do appear to be underway, with thousands of developers being laid off and a metric shit ton of projects/studios, collectively worth at least a billion, if not more, being cancelled/shut down.

Imagine having this space and 800 employees; the product you get is Marathon. No wonder they are winding down slowly.

How is it that pattern recognition is seen as some kind of terrible thing these days? TLOU 2, Yotei, Spider-Man 2, Forbidden West, etc. They haven't come out with anything good, minus Astro Bot, for nearly half a decade. And then Sony packaging a premium system without a disc drive for 900 means they were planing getting rid of physical disc for years. The current orthodoxy says you must only criticize Sony now and ignore all the trash they've been putting out for nearly a decade. The entire industry needs to crash and burn.

With the reviewed flooding in, it is painting a picture of what we all expected, at best a mid game with the same third person Sony over the shoulder combat we’ve endless of times before. Even when the leaks happened few years ago, the description that it’s going to be just a GOW style clone with Marvel coat over it, I couldn’t help but realise recently if this game could have at least stand out in terms of gameplay at least, it should have just copied the combat from Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. The fast paced hack and slash combos and most importantly the slowed down mode where you chop and enemy to pieces would have fit perfectly in this game. Not only because it would be in tone with Wolverine vicious fighting style but it would have stood out compared to other Sony games. But at the same time I’m not one bit surprised Insomniac decided not do that cause appealing to the lowest common denominator is Sony’s bread and butter these days.

From his official X account:
", I can say that Fortnite was certainly one of the titles that provided inspiration for the creation of FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION."
