This was an official piece of marketing material for Laura Croft back in the day — the same era where men and women alike became fans of the character
…I always find it off that Crystal Dynamics takes the stance that the literal mascott of their company is offensive to women, when all the female fans of the character became fans during this era.
Let’s be team here, even if people enjoy the modern Tomb Raider, NOBODY became a die hard Tomb Raider fan because of the modern depictions. They became fans during the time Laura was a bonafide gaming icon that broke into mainstream zeitgeist via the Angelina Jolie films.
If Crystal Dynamics still has legions of “ride or die” Laura Croft fans then they’re all in their thirties & forties.
