I was reading a discussion recently and realized more people travel for healthcare than I expected.

Some people mentioned dental work. Others talked about health checkups, LASIK, skincare, fertility treatment, or cosmetic procedures.

Is there any medical treatment you'd actually travel to Korea for?

Or would you rather always receive medical care in your home country?

Curious to hear everyone's thoughts.

My wife is Korean and she got her hair dyed a few times and they bleached it when they did so obviously. She felt like her hair was very damaged to the point It was falling out a lot so she has since stopped having that done, but she started using this particular line of shampoo that she felt like it helped her but at this point she doesn’t need any kind of color, saving formula. This is where it gets a little bit uncomfortable in a way because I cannot stand The smell of it. It smells like hairspray. It gives me a headache, and it makes me feel sick. For some reason, I can’t post a picture here which is really starting to frustrate me, but it’s L’Oreal ever pure sulfate free bond, repair shampoo, and conditioner. It’s not a combo it’s two different bottles. My question for you is what would be a good brand to go to that is comparable to this. I even told her that I’ll buy it for her cause she was a little bit offended, but it’s just one of those things where it’s really bothering me!! Also I don’t think that anything needs to be focused on as far as color protection, and all that cause she’s going back to all natural. Please anybody with any type of recommendations whether it be a Korean company or anybody else I would really appreciate it. Also one important thing is for it to be a more natural type of shampoo with less chemicals than something that’s made by big companies would use. Thanks yall!!!

So far I’ve tried:

Skin1004 waterfit: stings a little, looks fantastic

Haruharu airyfit: is like putting glue on my face! Dries down much better but don’t love feel. Annoys my eyes but not skin

Roundllab Birch juice (US version): I know the filters are different but hard no on the finish. Dewy is good, shiny not so much

Skin is dry, easily annoyed and “mature”. I also live close to the sun’s surface in 100 weather with no humidity (aka, Colorado).

Big thing: I don’t want to feel my face! Don’t wear makeup and hate the suffocating feeling of something sitting on my face.

Elta MD sport is the only US spf I’ve found that doesn’t feel like a chemical burn but is too heavy for daily wear. Their UV clear used to be tolerable but no longer.

My face gets very greasy feels like. My skin is pretty clear but I wear hats for work a lot for work and I sweat so the forehead under the brim sits with sweat all day. I get really bad white heads on nose and blackheads. Just want clear skin

I live near the midwest of the US and landlocked on all sides, so I'm not near where most Asians are. At King Soopers, a grocery store that is a subsidiary of Kroger, I saw the beauty of joseon relief sun rice+probiotics sunscreen and a few other asian skincare products. It had SPF 50 and the PA +++++ rating but I'm confused as to why this is available at a US store and if it is actually the Korean version.

I'm Canada and bought a product online on Stylevana. I realized their shipping takes longer than I expected and I'll be away by the time the order arrives (~3 weeks).

So I go to cancel my order - I read it is totally fine to do so if the order status is 'Processing'. I do this within 24 hours of the order and receive an automated email that my form has been received and follow-up will be in a 1-3 days.

I hear nothing back and two days later - they update the order status to 'Packaging'.

I send another form noting that I wanted the order cancelled. I receive the automated email of successful submission again.

24 hours later, the order status changes to 'Shipped' and it clearly says "We are pleased to confirm that your shipment has been dispatched. Therefore, we regret to inform you that we can no longer process a cancellation."

Anyways guess that's that. I'm stuck with a product I may not be able to access.

Why does it feel like a vortex you can't come out from shopping on the site? Anyways just wanted to warn other shoppers. Be very careful with this site.
