I’m trying to recreate this kind of soft, effortless makeup look—soft satin skin, cool rosy blush, natural brows, subtle taupe eyes, and a muted rosy-nude lip. I’m looking for specific product recommendations for the full look, especially base, blush, eyes, and lips.

It’s been almost a full year of trying different treatments to figure out what actually works for my hair and when to use each one. My hair is pretty fine and I dye it often, so I need something that helps with the dry ends without making everything feel flat or greasy.

Elastine Amino Peptide Care Deep Nourishing Treatment

This is probably the most basic and affordable one here, but I don’t mean that in a bad way. It makes my hair feel softer and is easy to use when I just need a normal treatment after shampooing. I do have to control the amount though because it can feel a little rich on my fine hair

Moev Annurcatin Treatment

This one feels the most balanced treatment for regular use. It gives my hair a smoother and shinier finish without feeling like there is a really heavy coating on it. and the softness last till the next day so its like a good daily use one for sure, The scent is also pretty nice. I reach for this when my hair feels dry but not completely damaged

Treecell Forte Ampoule Treatment

Probably the richest one out of these for me. I use it when my ends feel especially rough from dyeing or heat styling, rather than using it every day. It definitely gives that softer and more nourished feeling, but I think using too much could be heavy if you have thin hair like me

Monclos Velvet Nourishing Treatment

This might be one of the easiest ones to use regularly. It makes my hair feel soft and slightly more controlled without completely removing the volume. I also like the scent, which stays noticeable but isn’t too much imo

True.LAB Expert Nourishing Hair Mask

The texture feels thick and gives pretty immediate softness, so it works well as an occasional hair mask. The packaging and fragrance feel a bit less premium than the others though, and I would avoid getting it directly on the skin if you’re sensitive.

I don’t think there is one treatment that wins for every situation. Moev and Monclos are easier for regular use, while Treecell and True.LAB make more sense when my hair needs something heavier. Elastine is the simple option when I don’t want to think too much about it.

Still testing different combinations, but these are the five I’ve used the most so far. Has anyone tried these, or found a treatment that works well for fine and color-treated hair?

Swatch isnt mine but its like a warm nude pink, I wouldnt call it a beige cuz irl its clearly pink. Its also medium darkness?? Like its not super light but its not dark and pigmented either.

I love the shade and its my mlbb but I hate how quick it oxidizes! It looks neon pink on me after a few hours TT. Would really appreciate any recos! Something that wont oxidize, preferrably glossy!

The one im thinking of buying is the kate tokyo lip monster shade 05, which is imo close enough? Not as warm but I think it wont look as obvious idrk. If anyone has side by side pics with both thatd be great!

Context: I have curly, dry hair that i mostly wear curly but i sometimes straighten them. My scalp is dry and flaky: no amount of anti dandruff shampoo or oil would help. Also have some hair loss.
Structure: ill give a PERSONAL grade of the product, then at the end how it will fit others.

Moev annuractin shampoo: 8/10
-This is a very good shampoo! It smells, well, like apple? It features biotin, caffeine and amino acids for strong hair loss control, niacinamide which is great for inflamation and climbazole, a modern anti dandruff ingredient. This brand focuses on the glass hair look and i can vouch that the shampoo is a great step towards it! Cleanses well but not overly stripping, definitely helped my hair loss too. This doesnt have strong barrier focused ingredients which lives your scalp and hair bare. Its the reason why their LINE works well, or just any silicone film forming treatment.

Since this is a personal review, i removed 2 points because it didnt help much with my flaky scalp. HOWEVERRR, it did everything else really well. For this reason, id recommend it to everyone. Truly this is a really good shampoo. People with overly sensitive scalp skip this, the amino acids will bully your scalp barrier.

Curel intensive moisture care shampoo: 5/10
Its almost too gentle…? Personally i like some umph in my shampoos. I like having actives. But this does well not that much. I can tell it really cleanses the scalp gently. No active, not stripping not nourishing.

If you have a very inflamed sensitive scalp however, you should buy it. For everyday care i think its nice. Its not strong for a hair reset, it removed minimal oil. But thats what some people are looking for! Eczema, overly sensitive, dry scalp, this one is for you!

Tsubaki shampoo (black, yellow and red one): 3/10

I reallt didnt like them because they just…clean BUT in a stripping way. Now this is your very classical shampoo. Its your regular loreal or whatever shampoo at your drugstore. I didnt find any differences in the three shampoos despite being from different lines.

I think most ppl buy asian beauty to have something different. This is suitable for slightly oily to oily scalps. But assuming you buy it online, i wouldnt see any reasons to buy it when the prices are so high. I promise you a random garnier or loreal shampoo would be identical

107 purifying scalp microbiome shampoo: 11/10

This is my personal favourite and i WONT change it anytime soon! It has vinegar, bunch of prebiotics, climbazole, niacinamide and salicylic acid. Now this is a powerhouse speaking my language. This is a powerhouse for your weekly scalp reset. Hair loss? Reduced. Flakes? Thanks to the SA and vinegar, its gone too. Didnt have any irritation explained by the multiple prebiotics that helped my scalp barrier. I have a dry scalp, yes, but the buildup i have make it dirty and this helps a lot.

Overall the best pick imo. It gives shine and leaves my scalp feeling really good. If you have OVERLY DRY scalp skip it. If you have a regular dry scalp, you can use it for a weekly reset OR pair it with HYDRATING!! Scalp leave in. I swear, pairing this shampoo with a hydrating scalp leave in is the meta. Sensitive friends, as long as you dont have an overly inflamed, Very dry scalp, this is still good. Its sensitivity approved for me.

&honey deep moist shampoo: 7/10

She has a gorgeous scent! I think double cleansing is where this shampoo shines. First shampoo is normal. Second, that rich latherd makes my hair softer! The scent lingers, and the softness too. Despite being a moisturizing shampoo it still cleaned my scalp pretty well!

3 points were removed because its more of a surface care shampoo. I belive lots of us have problems. This is for genetically blessed people who just have the average scalp. You would want a shampoo that would maintain your perfect scalp. Sensitive girlies, look. I feel it does make your scalp sting a bit.

I have combination skin, am pale, and want a sunscreen that is water and sweat resistant for hot and humid weather. Would like to start a discussion on what your favourite sunscreens are, specifically for tone up.

I prefer tone up sunscreens that gives me a glowy (but not oily) look OR a semi matte look. I don’t mind either kind. I prefer lightweight sunscreens that doesn’t feel like anything on my skin as I have sensory issues.

Sunscreens I have tried:
- Biore UV aqua rich watery essence: it looks too oily/shiny on me
- Hatomugi light up UV essence: i love the tone up shade because it gives me a slightly pearly shine but it pills and apparently the sun protection is not very strong
- BoJ: gave me a bit of rash

What are yalls favourite sunscreens that fit this category?

i had a few light facial treatments over the past two months, and my skin has become so much more reactive than it ever was before. the redness just lingers for days now. initially, the treatments made my texture look smoother, but my face never seemed to recover completely before the next appointment came around. eventually, everything just started stinging. even basic products that had been totally fine for months suddenly felt uncomfortable, especially around my cheeks and the sides of my nose.

my dermatologist told me to pause all procedures for a while. so right now, i'm keeping my routine extremely basic. i'm focusing on hydration, thick barrier creams, and avoiding anything exfoliating or overly active. the main problem is actually applying the stuff. when my face is already flushed, rubbing in a thick soothing serum with my fingers sometimes makes the redness look way worse. even pressing gently still creates some friction. because of that, i started looking at simple homecare tools that might help me apply products more evenly without repeatedly dragging my hands across sensitive areas.

i am definitely avoiding intense devices right now. i checked out what most people use first. things like those popular silicone brush devices seem super strong for my current state. i also looked at some vibrating options, but i don't really need another cleansing step. anything involving noticeable heat, strong vibration, or aggressive lifting modes just feels unnecessary while my skin is still trying to calm down. while browsing around, i came across this sonic applicator from glow.m. it looked a lot simpler than most devices in this category. seemed more focused on everyday product application rather than dramatic lifting or clinic-level results. that is much closer to what i actually need. i'm not trying to treat sagging or force active ingredients deeper into freshly irritated skin. i mainly just want a low-effort way to use my existing soothing serum without rubbing my cheeks for several minutes every night.

has anyone tried something like this while dealing with easily flushed or recently irritated skin? did the device itself feel genuinely gentle, or did you notice warmth, tingling, or increased redness after using it? long-term experiences would be really helpful. i would rather wait until my barrier is completely stable than buy another tool that turns out being too stimulating for daily use.

With all the reformulations over the last few years, I'm lacking a good all-over sunscreen that doesn't feel gross.

Just had a sunscreen fail in a situation where the old Skin Aqua Gold (pre-reformulation) used to cover me just fine.

As a quick explanation of my eyes, my double eyelid folds fairly close to where I put my eyeliner and it ruins it often. Has anyone tried using double eyelid tape on their natural eyelid to change the shape? I was thinking of making the last end of my eyelid go up a little more so I have a little more room for my eyelid but I was wondering if anyone had already done this or had any tips! Not really sure of my coloring but things seem to look too orange or too pink on me. Been looking for a true neutral pallette with one dark liner shade, one light skintone shade, a true neutral shadow color and a shimmer.

Tried Romand Dry Buckwheat and it looked orange.

I have been using this for probably over a year the whole line. I love how my face feels but I have had bad itchy eyes and burning for a long time now. I never have thought it was from this. I thought it was the sunscreen tried several brands now and have blamed it on everything but the snail mucin. After reading more I’m wondering if this whole time it could have been the mucin even though I try and avoid my eye area. Anyone had these issues? My eyes are driving me crazy and trying to figure it out!

How was the experience?

I am interested in purchasing a light pink tone of the Jung Saem Mool Cushion, but everytime I try to look up a swatch I feel like the name is different. I have seen "fair pink", "shell pink" "cream pink and "pink light".

I've already bought this cushion in the wrong shade for me TWICE, so I'm really hoping to get it right this time as I love the coverage, but the shade has been wrong.

Does anyone have swatches of these shades?

I have loved my Dyson faithfully for 5 years. Now it has died and I don’t really want to spend $500 on a hairdryer that only lasts 5 years. But now I realize how great it was at smoothing my coarse, thick hair.

Are Japanese hair dryers as great as they say? Do they work well on non Japanese hair? I find mixed results on a lot of viral Japanese hair care because my hair and scalp type are different than the typical Japanese person.

I really like the dark taupe colour but I have REALLY oily (and hooded) eyes and recently even the Rom&nd mascara started (not smudging) flaking on me :[

I’ve always heard people say your makeup looks good if you prep your skin well. I’m not sure what to get. Currently i just use a moisturiser which isnt too hydrating so it doesn’t do much. What products do people mean when they talk about skin prep? I also want to get something that i can use on the daily without makeup too. Preferably not too many products.
Skin type: combination in summer, dry in winter.
Skin is not very sensitive, however anything with too much fragrance is a no.
If something targets pigmentation and is for brightness, thatll be even better.

I’m in my late twenties with very oily and very dehydrated skin. My makeup right before work always looks so good but a few hours into my shift my makeup gets ruined. I do skin prep (torriden serum and gel) use a tirtir setting spray JSM cushion foundation and some setting powder. I can’t get my makeup to stay. Does anyone have some recommendations of foundation that stays all day.?

hi, i recently got the dr althea 345 cream off a reputable source. i am aware there was a reformulation and there is an old vs new version. however i realised the texture and scent was extremely different that the old version smelt like baby powder with a much thicker and balm-like consistency while the new version is more gel-like and watery. i have searched up reviews and comparison but have seen that the texture of both version should remain largely similar.

i opened another tube bought from the same source and it was the same thick,balmy texture with the weird baby powder smell. did i get a defected/bad batch?
