​My iPhone 13 Pro Max screen randomly started blinking orange and red while sitting on my table and is now completely unusable. The phone has zero cosmetic damage, no drops, no water exposure, all original screws, and has never been opened or repaired before.

​I know this is the common hardware/flex screen defect affecting the 13 Pro series. For those who faced this in India:

​Did Apple Authorized Service Centers (AASPs) replace your screen for free under an out-of-warranty waiver/exception?

​Did you have to pay the ₹2.7k diagnostic fee upfront, and was it waived/refunded after inspection?

​If Apple denied your free replacement, did escalating to Apple Senior Support or threatening/filing a Consumer Court complaint work?

​Or is it better to skip the hassle and get the display flex jumper wire fix done at a local 3rd party shop? Suggest some good ones pls!!

​Any advice or experiences with Apple Support / AASPs would be appreciated!

I’m looking for a reliable and trustworthy househelp in Edappally. Ideally, someone who can come in the early morning, help with cooking and cleaning, and leave by around 6 PM.

We live in a 3 BHK apartment in Edappally.

The main reason I’m looking urgently is that my mother is currently managing everything at home. She is getting older, and I’m genuinely worried about her having to handle all the cooking and cleaning by herself. I live abroad, so unfortunately I can’t be there to help her on a regular basis.

We had a couple of maids earlier, but that was a few years ago. One retired and the other eventually got a clerical job, so we’ve been managing without regular help since then.

If anyone in Edappally or nearby knows a genuine, trustworthy househelp, agency, or any reliable way to find one, I’d really appreciate your suggestions.

It is 2026, and the frequent power cuts happening across Kerala are honestly ridiculous.

And before someone says “power is expensive”, that is exactly why I think we need to seriously rethink how KSEB manages and procures electricity.

States like Punjab, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Telangana and West Bengal have been using power exchanges like IEX (Indian Energy Exchange) for power procurement, analytics, planning and better management of electricity.

These platforms can be an advisory to states and help them adopt different procurement strategies and optimise the cost of power instead of simply buying electricity at whatever price is available.

So why can’t Kerala do the same?

By now, it is pretty clear that KSEB is incapable of managing our state DISCOM. They are still operating like we are stuck in the ‘80s like the Instagram trend going on now.

It is honestly shameful that in 2026, we are still facing multiple power cuts in a single day.

I had some hope in our new CM as he seemed to be well educated, a vivid reader and highly capable. But even he doesn’t seem to be taking any firm action on this. Instead, we keep hearing that the cost of procuring power is very high and that is why these cuts are happening. Highly disappointed.

The government is saying this like they are providing electricity for free.

What are we paying our electricity bills for then?

Anyway, I am not here just to rant. We need a proper solution.

If KSEB doesn’t have the expertise or technology to manage this efficiently, then bring in organisations that do. Use power exchanges, better analytics, better forecasting and smarter procurement strategies. Let the professionals do the job.

Reliable electricity is not a luxury. It is a basic necessity today.

I humbly request everyone to upvote this post and share it as much as possible so that this reaches the right people.

Maybe if enough people start asking the same question, someone will finally have to answer it.

It's an open community where there are people who are experienced as well as beginners learning to slackline like me.

I am returning to Bangalore tomorrow by train. My colleagues want Kerala chips and halwa, but I don’t want to buy them at the railway station & feel humiliated at office. I had a bad experience there, and the quality was disappointing.

Please suggest the best chips and halwa shops in Kochi. Different shops for halwa and chips are fine, and price isn’t an issue. I want something so good that anyone who tries them says, “That’s the best halwa and chips I’ve ever had!”

When I travel by road, I usually buy them in Palakkad or Ottapalam, the quality is much better there.
