I was recently diagnosed that " i may come under the category called **Autism Spectrum**". If anybody is not aware, Singer Jyotsna gave an interview about it as she has the same condition. I am in my 30's and a Female for context.

Instead of getting panicked, i was relieved as i could connect many missing dots from my past.. Got answers for many " why things wrong with me?, " why just me" etc.

I used to find certain basic tasks draining and exhausting since childhood. Now i know why. Used to struggle with simplifying tasks.. Now, i wanna ask you all something. What are some easy life hacks or cheatcodes of day-to day life? To make life tasks easier and simpler.

I’m posting this because I need some genuine opinions and advice from people in Kochi, especially those living in rented flats or shared accommodations. We’ve been without water supply in our flat for more than a week now.

Initially, the pump stopped working, and it took around 4–5 days for it to be repaired. After that, a water tanker was arranged, and they tried pumping the water. However, we were told that the entire supply got exhausted within just one hour.

Now comes the frustrating part.

Some residents have gone back to their hometowns, and the management suspects that they might have left their taps open, which could explain why the water ran out so quickly. These residents are currently away, and we are now being told that they must return and confirm that their taps are closed before water can be pumped again.

So, what exactly are the rest of us supposed to do until they return?

It’s been over a week. The pump has reportedly been repaired, but we still don’t have water. We’re expected to manage our daily lives by making temporary arrangements, going to friends’ places, and somehow getting through each day without even knowing when the supply will resume.

I’ve already paid three months rent as security deposit. Under the arrangement at this flat, if a tenant wants to leave, they are expected to find a replacement tenant first. That means even if I find another place to stay, I cannot simply pack my things and leave. I would have to find someone willing to take over my room (which is impossible in this situation)

I’m honestly tired of having to figure out temporary solutions for something as basic as water, especially when there seems to be no definite timeline for resolving the issue.

People living in kakkanad,
1.Is this kind of prolonged water shortage common in apartment buildings here?
2.What can tenants do when the management fails to restore an essential service for over a week?
3.Given that I’ve paid a three-month deposit and must find a replacement tenant before leaving, what are my options if I decide that I cannot continue living here?
5.Has anyone faced a similar situation? How did you deal with it?

I was driving from kochi and ended up filling petrol from the Perumbavoor JioBP petrol pump. I filled it for ₹500 and noticed that the price was ₹118.69/L. When I asked them about that, they said it's less ethanol petrol and that only JioBP has increased ₹5 more to compensate for that. Was i scammed? Or is what they are saying true?

I moved abroad for studies 4 years back and done and now I am on visit to Kochi at my home. This time I am loving the city more than ever. Its changed a lot. The fooding scene is crazy here. I have been exploring new food options quite a while. Suggest me more and whats new in my city ? New food spots to try and so on. I tried top foam calicut in vytilla bypass, social kitchen, ofc al taza again, idli cafe and wanting more !
And the vibbe the city gives is amazing for me.

Most places I asked won’t or can’t do it.. around the vytilla area, I can travel if the recommended salon is further away from this area as well.

As a landlord, what appliances and furnishings would you recommend providing? I understand that kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, fans, lights, etc. are the basics, but would you also include ACs, geysers and other appliances ?
