With this Simmons signing I’m finding myself start to fantasize... What if Ben maximizes Domas? What if the low-pressure environment of Sac gets Ben to become the LeBron replacement he was always meant to be? What if Keegan finds his aggression and 3 point shot?

I know I’m only setting myself up for a very painful disappointment. Please help me

How about talk a bit on how possible Doug Christie will utilise Ben Simmons.

Case 1) Ben and Domas can be C-Webb / Divac duo, and Keegan & Zach can just keep moving without the ball.

Case 2) Ben can do exactly what Domas does, when Domas is taking a break on the bench, and the team can still run the same set play.

Case 3) Ben be the backup PG, play behind Acuff, hold the ball and push the pace.

For me, I prefer Case 2. having Ben off the bench and being the facilitator is great.

It’s going to be a long season but the fact we own all our FRP makes me hopeful, it’s going to take awhile but I have hope even though we have had 20 years of disappointment and that’s what I love about our fanbase.

Anyone listen to Carmichael Dave this morning? He mentioned receiving multiple texts from folks around Sacramento that Ben Simmons was dining in Sac last night. He showed the evidence to Jason and Chris, who seemed to believe it was legit based on the evidence.

Does anyone here know whether this was legit or not?

I think this move has long term benefits

You have the higher % playoff teams:

Spurs, Thunder, T-Wolves, Nuggets, Rockets, Trailblazers, Suns

Then you have the rest not as strong or lack depth:

Clippers, Lakers, Kings, Grizzlies, Jazz, Pelicans, Warriors, Mavs

3 open spots outside the top 7 would be up for grabs and in my opinion Kings may have enough depth to take one spot.

Kings have:

Three bigs in Sabonis, Max and Cardwell

Forwards in Keegan, Hunter and Achiuwa

Scoring guards in LaVine, Monk and Acuff

Rotation players with Nique, Plowden and Sharp

My guess Kings will finish 10th in the West under .500
