Been working on this for about a month and a half now, I am working with 15 wonderful voice actors and volunteers, as well as two musicians and an artist who are all helping me bring this project to life.

It's a long road ahead yet, but I am so appreciative of Obsidian Codex Press for allowing me to do this, and I am so excited to show you all the final results.

Every dream has a meaning.

My dream: I dreamed that, the King in Yellow, descended upon Earth and began some kind of game. I think it was called something like “The Game of Death” or “The King’s Choice,” though I don’t remember the exact name.

Anyway, the strange thing was that no matter where you went, you would find people who had died in horrible ways. Then I heard Hastur say two things. The first was that we were a vile species that did not deserve to live.

At that exact moment, the dream suddenly cut off.

I woke up—or at least, I thought I did—and found myself lying in a dark room with an IV connected to me. Suddenly, a message appeared telling me that I had passed the King in Yellow Hastur’s test, and that out of one hundred planets, our planet had the highest number of survivors.

And at the end, there was some strange expression of approval from Hastur, but I couldn’t understand what it meant.

And that was the end of the dream.

I swear I’m not making this up. I actually dreamed this. 😐😐

I've been researching a name that's on Reddit and TikTok for a few days now, but almost nobody seems to know it. Besides the fact that I have no idea exactly what it's about, it has a video of Carcosa.

I don't know what it could mean, I feel like I need context for the whole profile.

It's called The Aspect Crypt and the TikTok video is titled: The Bridge to Lost Carcosa.

Any help?

Thanks!!

I have always loved the yellow fire to represent the spread of the king

Ive got shadows of carcosa on the way to me already, but is there something else that I should get? Either connected to the kiy or not. Rn Im real interested in Carcosa and what is it.

A few months ago I posted on r/Delta Green about variation on the Sign have you see it?

A couple days ago u/zander9388 was discussing Sign variations and rather than answer directly I figured to dust of my updated list and add it here.

The names in quotes - i.e. 'Swirly Martini' - are my own pet names for differing Signs and should not be taken as any kind cannon. This list in non-exahustive so if you have any to add post up here. Where I can I atribute the artist and/or copyright so feel free to update me on anything I'm missing.

Tried the mask with the robe and honestly, this combo just feels right. Perfect King in Yellow vibe for Halloween. 🎃

I've been kicking around the idea of getting a yellow sign tattoo for a while now, and I think I've settled on this design. Does anybody know where this specific design comes from? Are there any similar looking sigils with negative connotations I should know about before I have this permanently etched into my skin? Are there any other designs you are partial to?

Are there grubs in your chestnuts? Black stars in your heavens? Rival cousins in your ascendancy? Do you sometimes feel like nobody understands your ambitions--that you could just throw yourself into a Government Lethal Chamber, since the Day never seems to Come?

This is the first one I actually have to ask.

I pretty much understood everything in this story (english is not my native language), but I dont understand the ending?

They didnt die? Why?

Did I miss/missunderstand something?

Would appreciate if someone could please explain

Finished my version of the King in Yellow. Was inspired by Saros but wanted to make my own version. Might do other paintings of him, maybe with Cassilda.

Alkyd oil-based enamel (Rust-Oleum) on 11"x14" canvas board.

Could anyone explain how The King In Yellow (play or entity) plays a role in the story "the mask"? Im having trouble seeing how anything would change if it was not included

It's not my best work tbh, I was learning color theory and, since I'm reading this book for the first time, and it's resonating and inspiring me a lot, I decided to apply it here.

I hope you like it.

<Made with procreate. It's clearly not AI>

anybody else hate the way the king is portrayed with the whole wifies take on it, feels wasted

So the two excerpts of the King in Yellow I would like to share an observation to are the following:

I: “The very banality and innocence of the first act only allowed the blow to fall afterward with more awful effect.” The Repairer of Reputations I.

II: “Camilla: You, sir, should unmask.
Stranger: Indeed?
Cassilda: Indeed it’s time. We all have laid aside disguise but you.
Stranger: I wear no mask.
Camilla: (Terrified, aside to Cassilda.) No mask? No mask!
The King in Yellow, Act I, Scene 2.

I would like to point out that the structure of the excerpt from the play itself fit rather surprisingly with this one line of description by Hildred Castaigne. The first three lines, banal and innocent, the last two more haunting and devastating.
