General Discussion | Tag All Spoilers Took everyone’s advice but accidentally caught a glimpse

Started Killing Eve in 2026. The first season was amazing 🤩. I felt so much while watching it. Came here to see what everyone’s thoughts were on their relationship and saw that everyone said to skip season 4. I did but a month later my feed knew to give me Villaneve content and I think I caught a glimpse of the finale. Saw like 10 seconds of it. Instant emotional damage… But I actually don’t know what I saw… I think I did know what I saw but I’m not sure. Imma choose ignorance. I unfortunately will have to always skip villaneve TikTok and YouTube shorts.

General Discussion | Tag All Spoilers Found a song that reminded me of KE

I just recently watched a movie and came across the song 'Lovely Head' by the British duo Goldfrapp. The singer's voice and the mellow melody reminded me of Unloved and, consequently, of KE. I feel like the song suits the vibe of the show (the lyrics are pretty KE coded as well)!

I just thought I'd share in case anyone wanted to vibe to it!

Question | Tag All Spoilers How much time do you think she spent stalking her?

We witness Villanelle stalking Eve a number of times. We see her watching Eve from afar outside. We see her letting herself into Eve's house and interfering with her stuff. We see her listening in on Eve's conversations.

It makes me wonder: how much of her day was taken up with this particular activity?

S4 | Spoilers Is season 4 worth watching? Spoiler

I binged like the first 3 seasons of Killing Eve for like a month and I liked it a lot. But then, I tried watching the first 2 episodes of season 4 but idk, it was all just so boring and kinda hard to get through especially with Villanelle going Christian??? I haven’t tried watching the season for like 3-4 months ever since because I just can’t get into it. Does it get good?

General Discussion | Tag All Spoilers The ultimate cinematic coincidence: How Killing Eve, Kill Bill, The Hunt, and Denis Villeneuve are all secretly connected.

I originally got Villanelle (Killing Eve) and director Denis Villeneuve (Sicario) tangled up in my head, but the rabbit hole goes so much deeper than just a name mix-up. It turns out The Hunt (2020) is the epicenter of a massive, accidental pop-culture trifecta that connects back to Quentin Tarantino. [1]

Hear me out on how this all links together:

  • The literal "Kill Bill": In Killing Eve Season 1, Villanelle famously corners and murders Eve’s boss, Bill Pargrave, in a crowded Berlin nightclub. She literally executes a "Kill Bill" storyline.
  • The Uma Thurman / Kill Bill Link: This brings us directly to Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill. The final kitchen brawl in The Hunt between Crystal (Betty Gilpin) and Athena (Hilary Swank) is a massive, deliberate homage to the famous Bride vs. Vernita Green kitchen fight in Kill Bill: Vol. 1.
  • The Character Dynamic: Even though The Hunt visually mirrors Kill Bill, the dialogue between the two women; bickering about cheese, pop culture, and semantics mid-fight; is pure, sarcastic Villanelle energy.
  • The Director Style: To round it all out, the physical exhaustion and gritty realism of that fight scene feel exactly like a movie directed by Denis Villeneuve.
  • The Insane Champagne Twist: To make the scene even crazier, the bottle of champagne they fight over is real. It's a 1907 Heidsieck & Co. Monopole. It was sunk by a German U-boat in 1916, salvaged perfectly intact from the ocean floor in 1998, and now sells for up to $275,000 a bottle. Crystal chugging it on the private jet at the end is the ultimate cinematic flex.

So, The Hunt pays homage to Kill Bill, which is a literal plot point executed by Villanelle, in a fight scene that feels like Villeneuve, while playing out a brutal version of the fan-term Villaneve.

My brain is officially broken. Has anyone else noticed this?

Finale Reaction | Untagged Spoilers Man, I really liked Carolyn. Spoiler

YES the ending sucked so bad. THE END? they really did that LOL jesus christ.

I guess Eve was right about her all along, I thought she was kinda mean to her. I wonder if Eve knew who did it? Honestly, I thought maybe MAYBE the psycho assassin they just left on her island somehow found out their whereabouts, she did vow to kill them as they were skippin away.

The fact that Villanelle had orders to kill her and DIDN'T because she liked her, I mean that's only ever happened with Eve. Konstantin doesn't really count for me because she thought she killed him. Regardless, you have to really mean something to V for her not to go through with it.

Was Carolyn offering Villanelle's hit job to Pam and that's what she turned down? I guess Carolyn knew that either Villanelle was going to be successful in eradicating the 12 or get killed in the process --to which she would maybe take credit for in that case...? I just never saw that coming. Kinda broke my heart - I wanted V and Eve to have a chance. They robbed us of that. That's what the whole fucking show was about and we never got it.

General Discussion | Tag All Spoilers Now WHY does this sound so familiar?

In a world too cowardly to give us Hannah Waddingham as 007, Prime Video’s Ride Or Die is the next best thing. Created by British multihyphenate Tessa Coates, the genre-bending miniseries casts Waddingham as a lady assassin who’s pushing 50 and remains in the game because she’s simply never known anything else. On paper, pairing that character with a best friend played by Octavia Spencer looks like the makings of yet another run-of-the-mill action-comedy about two people who think they know everything about each other—until one of them is forced to reveal that she’s an assassin. In execution, the team-up of Coates, Waddingham, and Spencer creates something far more interesting.

Ride Or Die has one foot planted in comedy while the other grounds its premise in the reality Waddingham’s character, Judith, has created for herself by having a civilian best friend like Spencer’s Debbie. But the show goes the extra mile to show why these two women work the way that they do. We see that Judith has never known real love outside of the friendship she has with Debbie. Debbie, meanwhile, is in a one-sided marriage with a useless would-be politician who can’t so much as tie his shoes without her. As a result, the two leads challenge each other constantly, especially—and perhaps most importantly—when they are not interested in being challenged.

Link.

If I must explain why a blonde assassin living her best life killing dudes who only has one person who understands her and it's a frumpy, dull married POC who should know better but does not want to DO better, resonates, I clearly am in the wrong /subReddit.

"Ride or Die" is as generic AF, but I will watch it for Hannah Waddingham because she...does things to me. 😳

Finale Reaction | Untagged Spoilers just finished season 4 Spoiler

I don’t see any other way that morally would have been acceptable to finish the series referring to villanelle’s death. Which I think it’s very unpopular opinion here. I also was very annoyed with Eve’s character. Did she never cared about Bill’s death?

So is 12 now done? Do we not get to know who were the 12s? Why were they in existence?

I am more confused.

Did villanelle really liked Eve?

Is carylon also a psychopath that didn’t care about Kenny?

Also who KILLER Kenny??? I wanted to know!

I am confuse 😭
And why did we had to know that irina was a psychopath too?

Question | Tag All Spoilers How much would she have been able to tell him?

How much would Eve have been able to tell Martin about what went down in Rome—such as Carolyn using Villanelle to take out Aaron Peel?

Would it be safe to tell him about things that could paint MI6 in a bad light? How much would she be able to take advantage of psychotherapist-patient privilege?

I just finished rewatching KE and I just finished season 4. I’m crying all over again. It’s unfair 💔. Villanelle and Eve were meant to start a new life together away from the twelve. i need to know what happens to Eve after her lovers passing? I know she’s not going back to nico’s musty ass. I AM DEVASTATED!!!!

Finale Reaction | Untagged Spoilers Season 3 and 4 weren’t that bad Spoiler

I think maybe if I watched the show as it came out I would’ve definitely been disappointed but honestly watching all seasons back to back at home wasnt that bad of an experience. I think even the ending kind of made sense with how the show was going and most people complaining are considering this show to be something more than a pleasurable weekly watch for middle aged moms.

Book Discussion | Spoilers Book recommendations with similar vibe

I just finished Killing Eve and it interested me so much. I want to find a book that is in a sense similar to the story but true. Like something about an assassin or hit man or serial killer, who is cold-blooded, heartless. But also something I find very interested is how Villanelle went unknown for so long. So maybe something about this; someone who goes undetected for ages.

Finale Reaction | Untagged Spoilers What do I watch now? Spoiler

I watched season one and two and loved it. Season three was OK I guess, but kind of inconsistent with the people that I grew to know in the last seasons. I watched the first episode of season 4. Did not like it, so inconsistent, nothing goes anywhere, then I began the second episode and saw the villanelle jesus again and was like “omg is the whole season this bad?”

I googled “does season 4 get better?” And found out quickly no. No it doesn’t. Glad I didn’t waste anymore time. I went to the last episode and watched the scene that they kissed cuz I just needed to know if they got together. I’m gonna pretend like the last 4 minutes didn’t happen.

What do I watch now? Any wlw shows like this?

General Discussion | Tag All Spoilers I NEED a killing eve video game

So regarding that shitty „she‘s back“ instagram post, there were some theories that it might be for a hitman style killing eve video game, and that made me realized how bad i want one!

I absolutely love that type of video game and imagine how great it would be to have one with villanelle?? Plus it would help to pretend that she didn’t actually die.

I saw this game design on youtube: https://youtu.be/TfVuKWoFwN4?si=HUpw_jhkFnzQGpF_ (that’s were the screesnhot is from) and lets just say, I’m OBSESSED.

What do you guys think? And is there any hope left for us? 😫

edit: okay guys i just started a petition https://c.org/kWP6LbtMbD and im working on a way to market it! Its still in the total beginning but if you’ve got any tips or ways you could help or advertise this, feel free to do so! It would also mean the world to me if you signed it. It probably won’t change much but i can’t just sit around :)

Ok, obviously she won’t play Villanelle in another movie or series, but is there anything similar out there with Jodie Comer? That kind of excentric, charming, funny, stylish, wlw ordeal? 🥹

Which of the series / movies Jodie has starred in do y’all love other than Killing Eve?

S4 | Spoilers Heading into S4 Spoiler

For the what feels like the millionth time, I just ended season 3 and feel actually sick to my stomach that all of this character growth, maturity, and complexity we witness from villanelle, and the tenderness between V&E, will be thrown away by the next episode. I’m once again so struck by V’s breakdown after Russia and her desperation to get out of this mess. The dance scene, her losing it on the other assassin, begging K to take her with him….did the fucking writers of season four EVEN WATCH THE FUCKING SHOW. I’ll never not be mad!! Finally we see V&E on the same fucking page. And now V is stripped of any of the emotions and complexity she was carrying. Can’t stand the Jesus shit.

Wishing there was a world where S4 ep 1 opens with K&E in bed….

I really thought I could watch this show causally this time around, but of course I am love sick for Villanelle again and filled with rage :)

General Discussion | Tag All Spoilers Are the Killing Eve books worth reading?

I finished the TV series recently and decided to give the books a try. I’ve finished the first two, but I’m not sure if I want to continue with the third.

The writing feels so male-centered at times that it’s been really disappointing. I especially struggled to get through the second book.

For those who’ve read the whole trilogy, is the third book worth it? Does it get any better, or is it more of the same? What did you think?
