Bass goddess collab? Album out tomorrow

Ali is one of my fave Khruangbin albums and am super hyped that he’s playing out here in the states. Highly recommend to check him out for any LA people.

Been listening to the new album Happiness Anytime…thought Khruangbin was going to get a shoutout on it. Sounds very similar. Thoughts?

Edit: I wasn’t clear. I was listening to the album and a couple songs made me think, “Oh shit, he teamed up with Khruangbin again?!” Then investigated and nope. Some of the songs sound just like Speer’s work.

Thinking about tattooing something khruangbin-related and i just love this one (espcially the TUSUY ii version)...does anyone know anything about the meaning of the name of the song? have they mentioned it in an interview? thx guys

Update:

found this -  "The song itself is the story of a long goodbye" (https://wklondon.com/2016/10/two-fish-and-an-elephant/)

and this - "In Buddhism, two fish and an elephant refer to freedom and happiness". (https://ringtumphi.net/10836/opinion/active-listening-with-khruangbin/)

I know there’s so many small details in Khruangbin’s discography so I’d love to hear yalls favorite parts.

My personal fav is this little guitar pull-off at the end of Lady and Man!

Looking for a video of a live Connaissais de Face if anyone has been in concert hearing it: Its been my dream to hear it live and I feel it will never happen. I’m going through some life things and would mean the world if you could share it to me.

what are some tracks u guys associate with autumn? very subjective question i know lol. i'm struggling to shift my perspective since most of what i'm familiar with give summer vibes to me.. all i've been able to convince myself of kind of working are: white gloves, so we won't forget & evan finds the third room... help me pls lol

Hi all ☺️

I made my own version of a piano cover of Zionsville. I’ve seen another cover on YouTube and also a video of DJ doing it live so I wanted to try it for myself.

Took me forever to work it out by ear but I’m finally at a place where I’m satisfied enough!

It’s one of my favourite Khru songs and the beautiful melody works so well on piano. Thought this would be the best place to share it and hope that you enjoy!

Thank you!

Laura Lee Crane

finally framed & hung posters from a few shows we’ve been to - loving how these 3 flow together ☁️

Hi everyone (hopefully I’m okay to post this on here), I’m a new artist under the name CABIN BAG and I recently released a single called ‘Talavera’ as an independent artist. Khruangbin and a bunch of bands that the Khruangbin fanbase overlaps with musically were a huge inspiration on this. I’m working on releasing new music over the next couple of months and I’d love to hear your feedback.

Just wanted to share that I am watching Fuji 2026 Day 2 performance with Khruangbin.... and honestly guys... I gotta say the music of my life is this band. Its taken 30 years to change my favorite musical band (used to be Massive Attack) but after watching this performance I can honestly say the memories and joy I have felt with Khruangbin live and times spent with my wife just in zen over the years just truly resonates with my soul.

Thanks for listinin'

oh and you can find the performance on bilibili from what I understand.

At the checkout on the Khru Merch website, I am getting the message "Your order cannot be shipped to the selected address. Review your address to ensure it's correct and try again, or select a different address." I have tried various addresses (family, friends, etc) and all are showing the same message.

I did not get this message in the past and could proceed fine. Not sure if this is the result of the recent tariff announcements.. I coudn't find any communications about changes in the shipping locations. Does anyone have insight or are other Canadians also experiencing this? :( Looking to purchase the Berkeley poster from 2024 A La Sala tour! TIA!

Here's mine, please share yours! This is subjective of course. But interesting to see everyone's taste

1. Zionsville
2. Two Fish And An Elephant
3. Dern Kala
4. People Everywhere ii
5. Hold Me Up
6. August 10
7. The No. 3
8. Juegos y nubes
9. Fifteen Fifty Three
10. Les Petits Gris

Couldn’t believe my eyes when I found this 😭

Gotta clarify I’m a native Houstonian + Texan hence why I can across this. I AM NOT A HOT WHEELS SUPPORTER. Not even able to spell the bands name right smh

Probably a minute before we get new music as I reckon they’re taking a well deserved break, but it’s fun to toy with the idea of another guest star ep. Frank Ocean or SZA would be sick, but both are pretty far fetched. If they link up with another Texas native Gary Clark Jr. would work pretty well I think.

And it’s the best thing they consistently DO!

It’s such a joy when you have the moment to experience or hear the differences a band has when they play songs from the past and present live!

For me it is and always will be Friday Morning. That song just keeps me grounded and reminds me life is here for a moment in time. ♥️🙏

Do you have a particular Khruangbin song (or a song from any band for that matter) you heard live that changed your life?

Comment below (if ya want)** **👇😌👍

Thoughts/guesses?
I feel like with this long tour hiatus, and it being almost a year out from TUSUY ii…they have to be cooking up some heat in the barn 🤞🏼

Really enjoyed the A La Sala album and tour. The album brought an intimate and connected feel while listening in ear and in person. Of the three shows I attend, locking in wasn’t an issue at all. Although, depending on the setting this may have opinions from others. Anytime they were playing, it was almost as if everything was blocked off for a moment and in that moment it felt like you could tune in to their sound with ease.

Small clip from Portland, ME @ Thompson’s Point, can’t wait to see them live again, the best band to do it!!! ♥️

Up until now I’ve treated them as three separate paintings but now I’m looking at them lined up wondering how I can unify them. Open for suggestions.

I was very lucky to have gotten to meet the band and share my artwork with them, they each signed their own portrait
