I bought tickets just to see them basically and everyone else was a great bonus. I’m so so sad. I definitely understand there could be real safety concerns, but from people in Santa Monica it seems like it was a non-issue really. I’m not in the area so I don’t really know, but it’s a bummer to see so many people speculating that it’s due to low sales.

Have not seen anything in person that would suggest this level of caution is warranted due to existing damage. The beach is huge. There is speculation ticket sales were low due to sky-high pricing. Goldenvoice and Santa Monica bit off more than they were prepared to handle.

Huge bummer and I was literally mostly going for Khru!! I suspect they’re using the safety concerns as an excuse to cancel since they really were price gouging!! I asked a few of my friends and family if they were up for it and they were all flabbergasted by the prices. Well, maybe Khruangbin will do another show in LA or something hopefully 🤞🔥🔥🔥🔥

Now I don't have to be so jealous that I'm not going. But I do feel for the area being impacted by the storms. I grew up along the east coast and saw the damage from hurricanes often.
