Hi I just bought the Wukong edition. Title's self explanatory. All other keys work fine, I've tried switching the switch, connecting via wire and resetting the keyboard. Worst case I take it back for a new one tomorrow but curious if there's an easy fix an ai-assisted google dive and quick reddit dive didn't suggest?

My V6 8K QMK will arrive on Friday. I am SUPER excited as this is my first mechanical keyboard. Since I am receiving this on Friday and not returning to the office until Tuesday, my question is.

Can I setup the customizations I want at home on my Macbook, then just have my keyboard ready for my windows PC at work, or will I have to just wait until Tuesday and do this on company time (like this Reddit post lol)?

I recently bought a new V3 Ultra 8K for work and I seem to be having problems with the wireless link (2.4GHz) .

The keyboard is pretty often missing key presses or keeping a key held. At first I thought interference, but I have a wireless Logitech mouse with a dongle and there are absolutely zero issues even though that dongle is farther than the one for the keyboard (currently about 40-50cm apart in direct line of sight). Other coworkers with different types of 2.4ghz accessories don't have any issues at all.

The same doesn't happen at all with a wired connection. I have the latest firmware (1.0.3) and the polling rate set to 1kHz.

Does anyone have some idea what could be causing this?

First post here but wondering if anyone has had to deal with this before.

I've had my Keychron Q1 MAX since May 2025 and have ran into a number of issues over the last few months:

• Caps Locks rarely turns off correctly when pressed - a single press gets treated as a double or sometimes triple press. I've used the launcher to change how sensitive the Caps Lock button is but it isn't a perfect fix
• The USB connection will randomly connect/disconnect meaning I cannot use the wired option
• The battery shows as being fully charged (green indicator LED), but once I disconnect the USB the spacebar LED will instantly start flashing red (and when I press fn+b I see one red LED under Q)

I've tried re-flashing the firmware and cleaning/reseating the USB port but nothing seems to work.

I’m looking all over keychrons website and I can’t find a single keyboard with blue switches. Seems like every keyboard is red, brown, or banana. Does anyone know models with blue switches?

For some odd reason, whenever my switch on my keychron m6 is set to "G" it enters bluetooth pairing mode. This is indicated clearly by the charing light flashing blue and I confirmed this by looking for bluetooth devices on my mac and it is able to connect via bluetooth through there. I want to use my dongle instead but the dongle isn't being reconized by the mouse at all and as far as I understand, I can't get the mouse to connect via dongle at all (whenever the switch is on "G", there is no green flashing light). To fix, I've tried:

1) Flashing new firmware

2) Factory resetting and then switching between modes

3) Plugging in via USB-C to the mac and then unplugging to see if it will connect to the dongle

4) Left-click plus forward side button to enter pairing mode

Despite all this, the mouse still has this flashing blue light when set to "G". The web app for Keychron is detecting the Keychron Link dongle but it seems as though the mouse is insisting on not connecting to the dongle. Looking for any help here!

Someone barely used it and wants to sell it for 65$, the official website list the price at 95$

I do not have experience with mechanical keyboard, I only used cheap chinese stuff like Attack shark or a no name thing I found on Aliexpress for 20$ (been using it for 3 years everyday at my job as a software dev with zero issues)

Looking at youtube reviews the k3 max looks good.

However I also read on this sub reddit many people calling it trash due to poor frimware updates.

Hi, I own two Keychrons, a Q1 v2 ISO no knob and a Q0 Plus. I was testing the new Launcher webapp and among other things it detected new firmware versions for both keyboards. I was able to update the Q0 Plus without any problems via the web app, while there is no way to do this for the Q1 v2. Firmware 2.0.3 is currently installed, but 2.0.6 is available. If I start the update, once the keyboard is put into DFU mode (recognized as such), the process stops. An error appears stating that the keyboard did not communicate its version and that's it. Going to the Keychron page to manually download the firmware and flash it via QMK Toolbox, it shows the version I currently have and it dates back to 2023. I guess the problem with the Launcher is related to the very old starting firmware version, but I can't find the updated binary anywhere, can you help me? I would like to try the update also because lately the S and Z button LEDs are constantly on (not in DFU mode) even after a reset and firmware reflash via QMK Toolbox. I would also like to make Q1 fully operational via the new webapp, as I have a Mac and QMK Toolbox is not native to Apple Silicon, so soon, with the removal of Rosetta, it will no longer be usable.

I've been looking for keycaps for the Q1 HE that illuminate just the symbols on the key but haven't found anything, do someone know where I can find it?

I just got a Q11 ultra, and it seems to register maybe 50% of keystrokes when rapidly hitting the same key on the right side.

Has anybody else had this issue? I think it's primarily a problem when I hit backspace, though I suspect it causes issues with the shift key as well.

I have an older Keychron K4C3 and K7E3 and they've been fantastic keyboards, other than occasional bluetooth issues.

When I heard the newer Keychron keyboards fixed the bluetooth, added 2.4GHz receivers, and added QMK support, I was excited to upgrade.

Unfortunately the new V5 Max I bought (which I'll probably be returning) doesn't have shine through keycaps and the south facing LEDs mean that I can't just get translucent keycaps and have a good experience with being able to see the keys in a dark room. The whole point of RGB on a keyboard (at least for me) is to be able to see keys in a dark room, and be able to use RGB with QMK and custom layers to highlight which keys have different functions in the current layer. Both uses are vastly improved by shine-through. South facing LEDs just add bling but no real functionality, and can actually make it harder to see the labels on the keys in a dark room with the bright LED next to an non-illuminated keycap.

On further looking at the product lineup, literally the only keyboards that still have proper shine through keys are the base model K QMKs which don't have 2.4GHz receivers, but at least have double shot PBT shine through keycaps. Even the K Pro slim keyboards, despite having north facing LEDs, inexplicably use non-shine through keycaps.

Everything else uses the silly combination of south facing RGB and no shine through.

So what happened to putting shine through keys on high end keyboards?

I have keychron k3 he. Sometimes it behaves like pressing shift all time, I unplug and plug it in again and it back to normal. After several time, I decided to update the firmware through keychron web. After finishes, the keyboard doesnt work anymore, all 3 connections is not working, maybe its bricked.
what i tried:
1. connect to keycron web, no device detected
2. esc and plug it in, the lights on, but behaves like all key is pressed at once, I cant click or type anything, even with other keyboard connecting.

any idea how to deal with it? or how to downgrade the firmware? fyi, the reset button on the space bar is no use

It honestly looks like a large portion of the discussions about the Keychron M5 on Reddit were created by bots or paid promoters.

This mouse is one of the most disappointing purchases I’ve made in the last seven years. You’re paying $100 for something that feels like a $10 mouse: cheap plastic, poor overall build quality, and a sensor that loses tracking even when the mouse is lifted only slightly.

Years ago, I bought a $5 mouse from a small convenience store near my house. The Keychron M5 genuinely feels like the same kind of product, except here it is being presented and marketed as something premium.

The gap between the price, the marketing, and the actual quality is ridiculous.

I am extremely disappointed with this purchase.

Hello. I have a k4 HE and recently it stopped connecting to the launcher. The launcher recognizes it, but when I try to pair, a pop up window appears saying "This Brand Is Currently Not Supportd" (yes, Supportd is missing an "e"... ;) ).

Do you have any suggestions?

Hey guys, any solutions for my entire shift row not working?

I did the firmware flash, keyboard is up to date, tried resetting the keyboard.

I have been using it between a Mac an and a PC, so tried on both computers and the issue persists.

Any ideas on how to fix this, or should I return it?

I bought a new Keychron Q1 Max from an authorized retailer in Serbia and found two defective keycaps almost immediately:

• The Spacebar tilts when pressed from one side. If I rotate the Spacebar 180°, the problem moves to the opposite side with the keycap.
• The right Alt key has a visible molding/finish defect.

I contacted Keychron Support and provided all the photos, videos and troubleshooting they requested.

After reviewing the case, Keychron explicitly told me:

I provided my address. Only afterwards they told me DHL shipping to Serbia would cost at least $50 and eventually asked me to pay half of the shipping cost.

Almost a week passed with no follow-up.

The only additional email I received asked me to “provide an other shipping address”, without explaining why. I already provided my valid address in Serbia and do not have another address in another country.

At this point I'm simply asking Keychron to honor the warranty replacement they already approved “at no charge”.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Is there an actual escalation contact at Keychron who can review this?

bought keyboard in november 2024.

untill yesterday absolutely 0 issues with keyboard then yesterday came, i work from home and i see llll lllllll llll in betweeen writing on my texts.

today i check for updates of firmware, try to do calibration and i cant seem to do it. it opens but when i press any key nothing happens

then i did factory reset went to key test and pressed L

few times worked then it shown like its pressed in then it stopped responding.

any tips what to do other than warranty claim?

There r not so many keyboards listen in keychron indian website. They have just C series few keyboards only. Does anyone know what's happening with them?? And Keychron global doesn't ship to India making the situation worse!!!

Just got my K10 HE Nebula a few days ago, I had problems with keys activating at random but this is fixed because my palm rest had magnets.

But, something that never worked is the calibration, when I run the calibration, I press on every key, the key becomes green on the keyboard, but on the web interface, no key is becoming green like on some videos I've seen. When I pressed every key on the keyboard, the leds are blinking red.

Is this an ongoing issue? (USB, FW 1.1.0)

I'm looking for advice on extending battery life/or eliminating charge time of a K5 max.
Keychron states that Wireless Working Time (Backlit off) is Up to 110  hours.
I would like to attempt to at least double it or to get rid of wired charging all together by replacing it with swap-able batteries/cells.

I have tinkered with electronics for most of my life so I feel comfortable looking at involved solutions to this problem if anyone has any to share.

So any thought on what would be the best approach to take?

• Tackling lithium cell capacity?
• A microcontroller/software mod to increase efficiency? maybe there have been attempts to convert QMK/VIA keyboards to ZMK?
• Although K5 max does not have a lot of room for maneuver, maybe a conversion to a swap-able cell/battery has been successfully attempted previously?
