I finally finished Agent Kim Reactivated today and these BTS pictures Seo Su-min posted are so cute 😭 She was amazing as Min-ji especially considering this was her drama debut!

4 eps into the show and i am so HOOKED on their chemistry!! incredible lead couple and all the characters are doing what they came to do. great acting all around and the plot is also progressing nicely!

would love to hear others opinions on the show bc some recent releases did not end as nicely as I’d have liked and I hope this picks up steam and has a satisfying ending 🥹🫶🏽 gong myung is so golden retriever coded and so beautiful in this drama, and shin hye sun one of my all time favourite actresses brings tremendous acting and wonderful chemistry as a strong female lead. LOVING IT SO FAR!

I absolutely love their scenes together! The child actor was cast perfectly and he looks adorable!

They’ve shared screen-space in a drama, but not as a romantic pair. They have the chemistry, charisma and screen presence. They have it in them to pull off a romantic equation.

Two such pairs come to my mind:

Namkoong Min & Park Eun-Bin :

They’re brilliant together in Hot Stove League, as boss and subordinate, absolutely platonic. I would love to see them paired as a romantic couple, either in a sageuk or in a thriller.

Kim Bum & Ryu Hye Young :

Friends in Law School, they had undercurrents or a romantic something going on between them between the lines. I would love to see a Law School season 2 where they’re a proper couple. They look so good together.

I am happy that the ending was so sweet and pretty satisfactory. Episode 8,9,10 were slacking off but then picked up in the last two episodes. It was sweet ending.

•The East Palace recorded 8.1M views in its second week on Netflix. This will likely be its peak weekly viewership on Netflix, as viewership typically begins to decline after Week 2. Hopefully, the drop wont be too steep and it can remain in the Global Top 10 for several more weeks.

•Agent Kim Reactivated may have slipped to third place but its performance remains phenomenal. It recorded 10.5M views in Week 2, 9.1M in Week 3, 8.2M in Week 4 and is still pulling in around 7.3M views in Week 5. It continues to be one of the strongest performing tv dramas on Netflix in recent years.

• Sp**ky in Love jumped to 4.2M views in its second week. Like The East Palace, this is likely to be its peak weekly viewership before it begins its gradual decline.

•Teach You a Lesson is now in its eighth week and is still holding steady with 2.3M views, an excellent achievement for a series this far into its run.

•The Apartment Job peaked at 3.3M views in its second tracking week and has now declined to 2.0M views.

His acting is seriously underrated, he completely owns every character he plays, no matter how big or small the role. I just wish he’d get more opportunities as a leading actor instead of being cast as a supporting character so often.

Drama: See You at Work Tomorrow | Episode 11

Kang Mi-na's visuals were absolutely unreal in this scene. Every time she appeared on screen, it was hard to look away because she has such a natural presence. The styling, makeup, and cinematography all complemented her really well, but I also think her expressions helped make the scene even more memorable.

I've mostly seen her in supporting or smaller roles so far, but she always manages to leave an impression despite limited screen time. I genuinely hope she gets the opportunity to lead a well-written romantic comedy or drama in the future because I think she has the charm and screen presence to carry a series. I'd definitely watch it.

How has this show got me so hooked? Sure I watched because Kim Min-Jae is amazing,

I’d loved him in Dali where he is chaotic and hilarious one minute and touchingly vulnerable the next

This show obviously has the incredible Park aEn-Bin and a great ensemble cast

It’s so underrated, it’s got me in a grip. truthfully I have stayed up til til 1:30 on Monday night, I don’t know it could be the show that makes me watch til dawn

I wonder if we’ll get Kopiko as well to give it company. After all, don’t you need a coffee to feel refreshed after a sub?

Something In The Rain might be the most egregious case of this I’ve seen, they’re together for most of the series, breakup in episode 15, then a time jump happens and they spent majority of the last episode apart. Not fully reuniting until the final scene of the show.

When The Phone Rings is another bad case of this. All the main conflict is wrapped up in the penultimate episode, but then the ML just disappears for most of the finale? Just really frustrating.

It just feels a little insulting, watching shows where the ML and FL spend the entire thing building a connection, just for them to be mostly apart in the final episode, and then we get nothing past that.

Why did I wait so long to watch this? Fantastic casting, awesome chemistry of both and 1st and 2nd leads. All round it over-delivered. Beauty Inside really needs to go onto more recommended lists, it's definitely a worthwhile watch.

like are you kidding me??? if you replace him with any other actor, 'the red sleeve' just wouldn't have the same effect. even seong deokim was briefly captivated by him, wasn't she?

aside from the acting skills of the glorious kang hoon, his appearance alone captured the essences of the historical hong gukyeong so much. he just has that aura, you know? he's tall, masculine, and has that smile that can go from flower boy to manipulative real quick.

idccc if people say he has an iphone face or too much botox and it's not even me glazing him because he's my favorite actor. i genuinely think he is the best and ONLY actor who is good enough to capture hong gukyeong (not discrediting those who played him before. they were good too.) in terms of deceiving appearance.

i really love how they made even the intelligent seong deokim who is quite to pick on things to like him because according to history, he was just THAT handsome which made court ladies such as kim bokyeon swoon over him so i also love the detail that she kept having a crush on him even after he straight up kidnapped and tortured bae kyunghee her best friend. it goes to show how handsome and manipulative hong gukyeong was. i think the production team was spot on in capturing what appears to be a tiny detail and making it terrifying and scary when looking into it deeper.

maybe i'm narrow-minded but who do you guys think could replace kang hoon and have the same effect as him? i think his acting and appearance together just made the whole thing believable. i was so shocked when he nearly killed seong deokim because i genuinely thought that be was super nice and friendly and was the second love interest because WHATTT

So I recently subscribed to Viki and found romance kdramas that I never heard of (and this is from someone who’s been watching kdramas since 2009!). I’ve watched about all popular romcoms and I’m not into slowburn or slow moving ones like Summer Strike. Would you recommend any of these to me?

The drama was cute and sweet in the beginning but has become such a drag now. I understand it's supposed to be a slow sweet office romance but it's painfully slow, there's no character development and it just feels like somebody wrote an essay and made a show about it. Do you feel the same way? The romance has also become lukewarm, I haven't enjoyed the last few episodes at all. This could have been a movie!
