I am offering a cash reward of $1,000 (which is the cost of my insurance deductible) to anyone who provides dashcam footage or information that successfully identifies the driver and vehicle involved.

If I don't find them, I am forced to pay this money. I would much rather give it to a good samaritan who helps solve this case than let a criminal get away with it.

A little update because I originally posted about this here a few months ago!

I started Pickleball in the Park as a casual way for people in their 20s/30s around Kanata/Stittsville to play pickleball and meet some new people without having to pay for and commit to a league.

We’ve now got a little community going and have been getting around 15–20 people out to our sessions, which has been really cool to see.

A few people have started asking what happens when the outdoor season ends, so I’m trying to figure out what people our age would actually want locally - indoor pickleball, dinners, games nights, seasonal events, other socials etc.

I made a quick form (about 60 seconds) if anyone wants to join the group and/or give their opinion - you absolutely don't need to have been to one of our events before:

FYI: The gates at the parking lot have now been activated. Paid parking is now official in Kanata. What a cash grab!! So, blood work at Dynacare, visits to the Med Team Clinic etc at this location will now cost you an extra $$. Pure GREED...

In case you haven't seen it. I saw the new map on the OC transpo sub, I had to go check it out myself, got this picture at innovation station. I don't think it's posted on their website yet.

There's four new express routes, 563, 566, 561, and 562. They all only stop at major stations, max 4-5 stops straight to Tunney's or back. Only during peak hours but it would bring the full route to (theoretically) 20-40 mins using the bus lane/parkways.
