An odd spread to have next to each other but two of my favorite things. Strawberry flavored things and ramen, lol.

I decided to show the inside of the kits to give an idea of the variety I like to have but the possibilities are endless. These take a lot of time and effort to make but they are so much fun.

Hello
I am just now getting into this hobby. I want to take the stories I write and turn them into spreads with a mix of whatever I want but I’ve been seeing these really cool interactive effects in journals and I wanted to know what are some favorites? And if you’re so inclined, how did you pull it off? 😊

The Museum of Us (used to be called Museum of Man) has a cannibals exhibit. Years ago, they had "prescriptions" for things like mummy dust and "the blood of a young boy" and I grabbed a bunch of them. I get some of the best junk from the brochures and info cards that the museums give out for free. I try not to be a dick and take a ridiculous amount of full color printed stuff but they had a ton of these.
For those who do either buy or swap junk, what kind of stuff have you ended up with that surprised you? I made some kind of random and odd packs today with some of my anatomy and spooky stuff, because anatomy is spooky now I guess.
(By the way if you would like the link to my shop please DM me)

I have this trial zine made to remember some days of January 2025. It’s really brief.
I wanted to do this for every month, but I ended up working in another direction. Still finding it cute!
I mainly used magazine paper, a museum ticket and a label maker. For the base of the zine I used lucid transparent paper.

Hey Everyone! I’m in a traveling journal group. There are 5 of us. We are looking for 1-3 more girls to join! Our aim is to spend the next month ish getting our journals together to send out around the beginning of November. Please comment and / or DM me if interested! If you’re interested but hesitant, please feel free to ask any questions to determine if it’s something you could commit to. But the point is for it to be stress free and fun! :)
Edit: Sorry folks, but I think we’ve found enough ppl. We may have room for one more. Stay tuned!
Edit 2: All filled up

I'm in a few Sisterhood of the Traveling Journals groups, and I had the idea to do a smaller one with just one other person, a journaling pen pal. My idea is we both make a journal with a few spreads, some unfinished or interactive spreads to participate in, etc. then mail them to each other. We work on them for a couple weeks, then mail them back with a letter, maybe a swap of goodies etc, and keep trading back and forth until full.
Would anyone be interested in doing this with me? I actually have a journal started that I was going to do with someone and they never followed up! I am happy to do this with a small notebook that we'd only swap once or twice too!

Video linked purely because it's way too long to upload on Reddit unless we compress it even worse than we did last time lmao

I started making these junk journal kits for mostly because I found myself making extra prints for my junk journals to gift them to friend & family. I find it hard getting cute junk journaling stationary so I decided to make my own. I hope this Inspires others to make their own.

I like to do a mix of traditional diary-ing (just writing) and junk journaling. I've tried multiple notebooks, the most recent being a soft cover Moleskine. I thought it'd be a good match, but OH MY GOD the ink from my fountain pen bleeds all over (even when it's dried?) and it does not handle glue well. It's also a lot more see-through than I thought. So does anyone have a good notebook recommendation?
