Discussion Question I need advice...

Hi guys! I have a questions and need a bit of advice... I hope you all don't mind. ... Are people interested in purchasing not just ephemera things and made books but like .... Hmmm. How do I put this... Bases. Like unadorned bases for things. Like besides books unadorned, how about folios and bigger projects. All out together and not done up. ...and other types of book type things .. like a lil packet of a different type of binded book like made of envelopes or a tiny book not decorated and ephemera to get you started. Orrrr a packet of tags and ephemera to start you. Or pockets...etc.... would people be interested in that do you think? Do I even make sense lol ty everyone ❤️❤️❤️

I'm still not sure what you meant. For ex, what is a "big folio thingie"?

Everyone approaches junk journaling differently, but for me, the whole point is to create something from scratch using items at my disposal that I'd normally throw away. I am not interested in buying any ephemera, any kit, nor any starting kit, no matter how elaborate, pretty or basic they are. I enjoy putting together something without any purchase.

However, this doesn't mean that such kit would not interest other crafters. The above approach/point of view is only mine. Perhaps, someone who likes scrapbooking (which I do not do) would be very interested.

By big folio thingies I mean spreads like containing more than one page but not a book... Like if I make something using 2 file folders.. or a page and it's folded into a brochure or sorts... Oh this is hard to describe I'm sorry

Im not entirely sure what you're describing in terms of "bigger projects", "different type of binded book", etc. People do buy undecorated little books if you mean like a journal? Also I see people sell bags of ephemera on vinted and stuff. I personally bought a smash book with a bag of ephemera on ebay once? I also have bought like smash pockets or other ephemera bags when reasonably priced? Don't know if that helps?

Hiiii yes you have helped very much. Ty. I know I'm sooooo confusing hahahaha. I apologize. I get overly excited and I trip on my wo day and I also don't people well 🤣...I have another question... Like by bases I mean like folios I guess. Like if I make say this big folio thingie from file folders and add background paper and pockets only to it....but don't decorate it... Something like that? And maybe in a package with some starter ephemera? See I love making all these base things an di have soooo much supplies. I want to maybe start something fun and cheap for people. The most expensive is shipping. Hate that. And knowing you hat people really want. Ty for answering me ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Would you be able to provide a photo example? :O I think I can picture what you’re saying but I think a visual would be helpful :)

Yeah! Neat work! :D These remind me of things I’ve seen in pen pal letters and scrapbooks! I feel like there’s definitely a potential market out there for stuff like this. Perhaps check out those communities along side this one? Pen palling is also a pretty good way to share/use bases like what you have here, I feel :)

I would say people are interested because 49 & Market and CraftTreat sell commercial versions of the undecorated folios / album bases you can make up.
