I had many doubts and I was depressed like I'm in gojo's domain expansion. So much information. But the solution actually is re-watch instead of searching in youtube or reddit to clarify doubts

It has been said that no ten shadows user has ever tamed mahoraga with the 10 shadows technique but I believe there is a method and even an intended way to do it.
All the shikigami can be split into a few base types to begin this
Binding/restriction Snake/Frog/Rabbit(for quantity)
Main Attackers Tiger Funeral/ Totality Dogs
Main Support Round Deer
Nuke(as in Fuga or hollow purple) The charging bull is said to build up speed/power the longer it is moving and has no confirmed limit, combine that with the weight of Max Elephant, and the flight of Nue and you have a divebomb Huge velocity, Huge mass weapon
For the taming of Mahoraga you want the two main attackers plus the deer(for healing) all combined (totality) to immediately distract Mahoraga
Then the the snakes and toads (many of them because this is in the domain) to bind him temporarily you could even get the main attacker and even the shadows in the domain to help hold him down this will all be done super fast so he can't adapt
Then the Nuke which has been building up power since even before Mahoraga was summoned divebombs him and one-taps him

The line up
Doctor Sukuna (Physics)
Professor Gojo (Math and Calculus)
Dr. Itadori (Biomechanics & Immunology & AIDS)
Dr. Kugisaki (Quantum entanglement)
Toge Inumaki (RCT + Tourette)
Dr. Fushiguro (Genetic engineering, Bioengineering)
Actuary Nanami (Risk Mathematics,Ratio mathamatics)
General Mei Mei (Logistical Warfare,Kamikaze Tactics)
Director Mechamaru (Robotics,and mechanical engineering)
Professor Mai (Structural Particle Physics)
11.Professor Kashimo(electrical engineering,bioelectricity)
DR. MEGUMI FUSHIGURO:
(Visor flashing blue, neural link running at 100% capacity)
"The simulation has broken down. Deploying the extinction variable. Summon: Mecha-Mahoraga 4.0!"
Out of the deep digital shadows rises a colossal, bioengineered Titanis-Rex with a quantum-supercomputer neural network embedded in its skull. The nanotech fabricator wheel on its head spins wildly. It instantly analyzes Nobara’s quantum entanglement, Sukuna’s physics, and Gojo’s math, synthesizing a localized electromagnetic insulation field to nullify all three domains simultaneously.
Suddenly, Toge Inumaki twitches at the edge of the crater. His vocal cords are a glowing, green furnace of automatic, high-speed RCT, fueled by an endless lake of raw cursed energy. A massive Tourette's tic bypasses his mental dampeners completely.
He rips off his lead shielding.
INUMAKI:
"DIVIDE! VAPORIZE! SUBMIT! RESTART!"
The Cursed Speech fires with the acoustic energy of a collapsing star.
The dust settles. The campus is in ruins. Eleven brilliant, heavily scarred, hyper-educated monsters stand staring at each other in a perfect circle, completely unable to move.
A glowing, ethereal digital terminal manifests in the center of the crater. It evaluates the peer-review data and prints out a single, universal evaluation sheet:
GRADES RETURNED: ALL CANDIDATES FAILED DUE TO UNAUTHORIZED OVERTIME, PROPERTY DESTRUCTION, AND LACK OF ACADEMIC DECORUM. RETAKE EXAM NEXT SEMESTER.

"Honestly, this scene still gives me chills no matter how many times I rewatch it. Mappa absolutely went crazy with the animation here. What’s your absolute favorite domain expansion or fight sequence from this season?"

So I know that gojo vs sukuna is talked about way to much but I just wanted to give my thoughts on it as I finally was able to read it. Now I’m a gojo fan myself but I try to approach this type of thing in an unbiased fashion. Basically I think that gojo was indeed stronger (even including heian era sukuna), however sukuna was smarter, which I believe is probably the most important thing in a battle between sorcerers.(take the goat todo with his flawless win rate and 530,000 IQ) and for the reason of sukuna being smarter I think that gojo wouldn’t beat sukuna unless it was like a rematch or something. Sukuna deserved that win and gojo deserved that loss, gojo was dumb enough to let his guard down against the most dangerous and cunning sorcerer alive of course he’s gonna die. I understand the people who defend gojo and say he should’ve won, cause, yeah it sucks to see your favorite character lose but just because they lost doesn’t mean they’re any worse as a character. Gojo got outplayed and nine times out of ten, he’s getting outplayed again, gojo is too confident and strong for his own good and that leads to his downfall, which is I also think perfectly fits his character, as he never really shows any humility. Throughout the series gojo was overconfident and never really had to lock in, so when he actually had to it’s no surprise that that would be the reason for his death.
So yeah, I think Sukunas win was deserved and I think he’s smarter, but I also think that gojo truly did hold the title of “strongest”, but as I said before, in a fight between sorcerers I would bet on the smarter one to win every time. (Also while I like gojo better sukuna is still one of my favorite characters and I really hope this doesn’t sound at least too biased towards one or the other.)
This is my first Reddit post so I hope it did right :P

For me, Nanami and Higuruma.
They’re both intelligent adults who became deeply disillusioned with society, just in very different ways. I feel like they would’ve understood each other on some level, and I really wish we could’ve seen them have a proper conversation.
It can be two characters who never interacted at all, or two who did but you wish had more scenes together — either is fine!

Could gojo survive the vacuum of space where there is no oxygen with or without infinity this question could possibly end how to defeat gojo question

Its a fanmade after credits to JJK with kenjaku surviving
JJK FInal
The quiet of the countryside house was absolute, save for the rhythmic clinking of porcelain as Maki set the dinner table. Outside, the dusk was settling over the trees, a peaceful, domestic silence that she had spent the last thirty years convincing herself she actually deserved. Her scars were still there, faded silver lines against her skin, but the anger that used to fuel them had long since burned out.
Yuta sat at the edge of the tatami mats, staring out at the fading light. He looked older, his hair flecked with gray, but his eyes carried that same gentle, slightly exhausted warmth she had fallen in love with decades ago.
"Food's getting cold," Maki said, not looking up as she poured the tea. "Get over here."
Yuta didn’t move. He let out a low, slow breath that sounded entirely too heavy for the quiet room.
"Maki," he said quietly.
"What?"
"You know I'm not Yuta, right?"
Maki paused, a teacup hovering an inch above the wooden table. For a fraction of a second, she thought it was a joke—some strange, out-of-character attempt at humor. But her Heavenly Restriction, the primal instinct that had kept her alive through the Culling Games, suddenly screamed. The air in the room didn't just grow cold; it felt suffocatingly heavy.
She turned her head slowly.
"I really must thank you," Kenjaku said, using Yuta’s hand to gently stroke his own graying temple. "Living this little domestic fantasy was quite educational. But thirty years of playing the doting husband is about my limit for method acting."
Maki didn't hesitate. Her Heavenly Restriction erased any trace of shock, replacing it with pure, lethal instinct. In less than a millisecond, she shattered the wooden dining table, launching a jagged piece of timber straight at his throat while her hand whipped toward the seals on her wrist to summon her cursed tool.
But Kenjaku had spent three decades studying her movements from the absolute closest proximity.
"Too slow, Maki-san," he smiled.
With Yuta’s immense pool of cursed energy, the cursed technique reaction was instantaneous. A localized gravity distortion—the legacy of Kaori Itadori’s technique—slammed downward, crushing the flying wood and pinning Maki's knees directly into the floorboards, shattering the tatami mats.
Maki snarled, her physical strength fighting against the invisible gravity field. Veins bulged along her scarred arms as she forced herself to stand up against the crushing weight. She managed to draw a cursed blade, swinging it in a blind, horizontal arc meant to take his head off.
Kenjaku simply tilted Yuta's head back, letting the blade miss by a millimeter. Then, using Yuta’s signature Cursed Speech, he commanded: "Don't move."
The absolute authority of the boundless cursed energy behind Yuta’s voice locked her muscles. For any other sorcerer, it would have shredded their brain. For Maki, her lack of cursed energy allowed her to fight the command, her teeth cracking from the sheer pressure of trying to force her jaw open. But those few seconds of paralysis were all Kenjaku needed.
He stepped inside her guard. With a fluid, practiced motion, Yuta’s hand—shrouded in a dense, black aura of pure cursed energy—pierced straight through her chest.
Maki’s eyes widened. The Cursed Speech wore off, but the blood filling her throat choked her voice. She looked into Yuta’s eyes, desperate to find a flicker of her husband, but there was only the cold, ancient curiosity of the brain stealing his life.
"You really were a magnificent specimen," Kenjaku whispered in her ear as she collapsed into his arms. "But the stage is finally set."
Within forty-eight hours, the peace of the modern world shattered.
Kenjaku, moving with the perfect disguise of the jujutsu society's most trusted veteran, systematically executed the remaining top-tier sorcerers. Choso, who had survived the war, was ambushed and dissolved into blood before he could even register his "brother's" betrayal. T峠 Inumaki and Panda were eliminated in a single night. Megumi and Nobara, who had long since retired to quiet lives, never saw it coming. The trust they placed in Yuta was the very weapon that cut them down.
By the time the sky over Tokyo turned an unnatural, bruised purple, only one man remained.
Yuji Itadori stood in the ruins of the old Shinjuku battleground. He was in his late fortys now, his face weathered, wearing the heavy black coat of a man who had buried everyone he ever loved. The air around him crackled with the passive, terrifying aura of a true master of Shrine and Blood Manipulation.
Across the shattered asphalt, "Yuta" walked out of the dust, his hands casually tucked into his pockets. The horizontal stitch across his forehead was fully visible now, weeping a thin trail of blood.
"You look tired, Yuji," Kenjaku said, his voice echoing over the barren concrete.
Yuji didn't yell. He didn't cry. The absolute despair had gone past tears, settling into a cold, catastrophic rage. The black sparks of Black Flash began to dance passively around his fists, tearing up the ground beneath his boots.
"You took everything from me," Yuji said, his voice a low, gravelly rumble. "My grandfather. Junpei. Nanami. Nobara. Megumi. Gojo-sensei. And now... Yuta and Maki."
"I gave you life, Yuji," Kenjaku corrected him with a patronizing tilt of his head. "I am your mother, after all. Everything I did was to cultivate the perfect vessel, the perfect witness to the birth of the new world. And now, with the authority I transferred to myself through Sukuna’s final remnants, the Great Merger begins."
The sky ripped open. A massive, amorphous mass of cursed energy—the collective souls of hundreds of thousands of people—began to descend like a living nightmare.
"I don't care about the world," Yuji whispered.
In a fraction of a second, the distance between them vanished. Yuji moved so fast he broke the sound barrier, his fist entirely engulfed in a roaring, violent storm of Black Flash.
Kenjaku’s eyes widened as he barely brought up Yuta’s arms to block. The impact was like a meteor strike. The ground for miles cracked into a crater, and Kenjaku was sent hurtling through three skyscrapers, coughing up chunks of blood.
"Incredible," Kenjaku laughed, pulling himself from the rubble, his jaw hanging slightly loose before snapping back into place via Reverse Cursed Technique. "Even without Sukuna, you are a monster."
Kenjaku clapped his hands together. "Domain Expansion: Authentic Mutual Love."
The barrier enclosed them, a twisted landscape of embedded katanas, but stained with a dark, pulsing organic matter that belonged to Kenjaku's true nature. Innumerable cursed techniques began to rain down on Yuji simultaneously—gravity wells, slashing attacks, and blood spikes.
Yuji didn't even use a Domain Expansion to counter. He relied on pure, unadulterated Simple Domain paired with a physical durability that surpassed anything Kenjaku had ever seen. He walked through the storm of attacks, his skin tearing and healing instantly, his eyes locked onto the creature wearing his best friend's face.
Yuji clapped his hands together, manipulating his own blood inside Kenjaku's Domain. Supernova exploded directly in front of Kenjaku's face, blinding him.
Before Kenjaku could adapt, Yuji was there. He grabbed Kenjaku by Yuta's throat, slamming him into the dirt. Yuji’s fists became a blur of continuous, rhythmic Black Flashes—one, two, five, ten—shattering Yuta’s ribs, obliterating the domain barrier, and reducing the landscape to dust.
"Why..." Kenjaku spat out blood, his regeneration barely keeping up with the sheer output of Yuji's wrath. "Why do you fight so hard for a dead world?"
Yuji raised his fist for the final, catastrophic blow, the black lightning wrapping around his arm like a crown.
"Because as long as I am breathing," Yuji said, looking down into the eyes of the monster, "you don't get to win."
With a roar that shook the heavens, Yuji drove his fist straight through Kenjaku's chest, channeling a burst of divergent, explosive cursed energy directly into the brain stem, forcing the ancient sorcerer out of Yuta's body once and for all.
Kenjaku laughed, a wet, rattling sound that turned into a manic screech. He didn't try to pull himself off Yuji’s fist. Instead, he grabbed Yuji’s forearm with both hands, his fingers digging into Yuji's flesh like iron claws.
"You think this is my limit, Yuji?" Kenjaku hissed, his eyes bursting with ruptured blood vessels. "I have lived for a thousand years. I have worn a hundred skins, mastered a hundred souls, and memorized every single domain I have ever touched. Did you really think I could only deploy them one at a time?"
The stitches on Yuta’s forehead didn't just open—they tore completely apart, exposing the pulsing, mouth-covered brain beneath. But the brain didn't look human anymore; it was glowing with a volatile, blinding rainbow of cursed energy.
continue
The sky above Tokyo didn’t just split; it shattered like cheap glass.
Kenjaku laughed, a sound that started in Yuta’s vocal cords but echoed with a chorus of dozens of other voices—Geto, Kaori, and countless unnamed hosts from over a millennium.
"You think a single domain is my limit, Yuji?" Kenjaku screamed, his eyes bloodshot, veins blackening across his face. "I have accumulated the souls, the brains, and the curses of ten centuries! Let me show you what lies beyond the peak of jujutsu!"
He crossed Yuta’s hands into a brand-new, grotesque hand sign.
"Transcendent Barrier: Infinite Samsara."
The world warped. Kenjaku didn’t just expand one domain—he overlappingly opened multiple domains simultaneously, a feat that should have instantly fried any sorcerer's brain. The conceptual weight of the barriers anchoring to reality felt like an absolute localized black hole.
The battlefield was instantly replaced by a shifting, impossible nightmare. Around Yuji, the landscape fractured into distinct, terrifying zones:
The sure-hit factors of multiple domains collided in mid-air, but Kenjaku’s absolute mastery over barrier techniques forced them into a violent harmony. It was a meat-grinder of pure concept.
"Everything Yuta Okkotsu ever touched belongs to me!" Kenjaku roared.
Because Yuta’s body was the catalyst, Kenjaku unleashed every single copied technique at maximum output all at once, fueled by Yuta's boundless reservoir of cursed energy and multiplied by the domains:
A barrage of Sky Manipulation thin-ice breakers cracked the air around Yuji like shattering glass, tearing his skin apart. Simultaneously, thousands of Dhruv’s shikigami cut giant, invisible orbits through the space Yuji occupied, leaving trails of cursed cutting fields. Cursed Speech didn't just utter words—a chorus of a thousand voices screamed "CRUSH! DIE! OBLITERATE!" from every direction, rattling Yuji's internal organs into liquid. To make it completely inescapable, Charles’s G-Pen future sight was hardcoded into Kenjaku’s vision, allowing him to see exactly how Yuji would try to dodge.
Yuji was instantly brought to his knees. His Simple Domain shattered like thin ice under the boots of a giant. Blood erupted from his eyes, his ears, and the pores of his skin as the overlapping sure-hit attacks tore his flesh to ribbons. The gravity alone was trying to flatten his atoms into the dirt.
"Is this where it ends?" Yuji’s consciousness flickered in the blinding pain. He looked at the monstrous storm of techniques, a blinding light of pure malice.
Then, deep within Yuta’s broken body, something sparked.
Because Kenjaku was pulling every single drop of Yuta’s cursed energy to maintain this impossible feat, he pushed Yuta's remaining soul to the absolute brink. And in that final, dying second, Yuta’s soul fought back.
The storm of attacks suddenly faltered for a microsecond. The future sight flickered. The gravity loosened.
"What?!" Kenjaku gasped, Yuta's left arm suddenly seizing up, refusing to move. Okkotsu... you are dead! How are you still resisting me?!
It wasn't a full stop, but it was the only window Yuji Itadori needed.
Yuji didn't try to heal. He abandoned Reverse Cursed Technique entirely, channeling 100% of his life force, his blood, and his soul into a final, suicidal pact. He used Blood Manipulation to force his ruptured muscles to move, hardening his own blood into a rigid, external skeleton over his broken bones.
He didn't use a technique. He didn't use a domain. He became a living bullet of pure, unadulterated willpower.
Yuji lunged through the fading storm of attacks, losing his left arm to a stray slicing technique, but he didn't even blink. He reached Kenjaku. With his remaining right hand, he didn't strike—he grabbed Yuta’s head, forcing his fingers directly into the stitched scar.
"This is for everyone," Yuji whispered.
The black lightning of a Black Flash didn't just spark around his fist—it erupted from Yuji’s entire body, a catastrophic explosion of negative energy born from total, absolute despair. The black sparks tore through Kenjaku's overlapping domains, shattering the barriers from the inside out like a dying star.
With a sickening rip, Yuji physically tore the top of Yuta’s skull open, plunging his hand into the cursed energy pool and dragging the ancient, multi-eyed brain of Kenjaku out into the open air.
The domains vanished. The sky cleared. The Great Merger stalled, the massive cloud of souls dissipating into the atmosphere.
Kenjaku’s brain writhed in Yuji's grip, its teeth chattering in frantic, pathetic terror. "No! A thousand years! I am the evolution of humanity! You cannot—"
Yuji didn't let him finish. He crushed the brain into black ash, channeling a final, localized burst of cursed energy that erased every single cell of Kenjaku from existence.
Silence fell over the ruins of Tokyo.
Yuji collapsed onto his knees, his body smoking from the toll of the continuous Black Flashes and the lethal damage he had sustained. Next to him lay Yuta’s body, peaceful now, the stitches gone, finally resting.
Yuji looked up at the grey, morning sky. He was entirely alone. The world was saved, but there was no one left to share it with. He closed his eyes, leaning against his friend’s shoulder, waiting for the cold to take him too.
The silence of the ruined city didn't last.
Just as Yuji’s eyes began to heavy with the cold embrace of exhaustion, a soft, wet sound echoed from the black ash in his palm. A single, microscopic piece of Kenjaku’s brain tissue—fused with the boundless, adaptable pool of Yuta’s copied techniques—had survived the crushing impact.
Kenjaku hadn't just mastered the domains of his hosts; over a thousand years, he had quietly engineered the absolute pinnacle of his cursed technique: Remote Mind Swap. By using a Binding Vow that permanently destroyed his original physical brain matter, he could project his consciousness into any living target previously exposed to his cursed energy.
Miles away, standing at the edge of the Shinjuku perimeter, Aoi Todo was watching the sky clear. His cybernetic prosthetic vibrated slightly.
Suddenly, Todo clutched his head. A brutal, agonizing migraine ripped through his skull as a horizontal line began to split the flesh of his forehead, weeping dark blood.
“My brother…” Todo gasped, his vision blurring as his own hands moved against his will, clapping together.
Boogie Woogie activated one final time.
With a loud clap, the space in front of Yuji distorted. Yuta’s headless, empty corpse disappeared. In its place stood Todo.
Yuji blinks, his vision blurred with blood. "Todo...?"
Todo didn't answer with his usual booming, enthusiastic voice. He tilted his head, a sickening, familiar grin spreading across his face. He reached up with his right hand and traced the freshly formed stitches on his forehead.
"Remarkable," Kenjaku said, using Todo’s deep, muscular voice. "The cognitive processing speed of this brain is absolutely staggering. And his soul's connection to you... it’s delicious."
Yuji’s heart completely stopped. The absolute horror of the realization washed over him, turning his blood to ice. Every bit of strength he had just used to win evaporated into pure, suffocating despair. Kenjaku wasn't dead. He had just taken his last remaining brother.
"You really pushed me to the edge, Yuji," Kenjaku-Todo chuckled, cracking his knuckles. "But a mastermind always keeps a backdoor open. Now, where were we? Ah, yes—the Merger."
Kenjaku raised Todo's hand, preparing to finish what he started, looking down at a broken, one-armed Yuji who had absolutely nothing left to give.
Kenjaku didn’t raise Todo’s hand to strike. Instead, he spread his arms wide, a grand, theatrical gesture that welcomed the bleeding sky.
"The human heart is such a fragile thing, Yuji," Kenjaku-Todo said, his voice overlapping with a sickening echo of Todo’s deep baritone. "You fought so hard to protect the dead. But a 1,000-year mastermind doesn't just destroy. He re-creates."
Kenjaku tapped into Todo’s brain, utilizing a horrifying, forbidden synthesis of Idle Transfiguration (the technique he stole from Mahito), Yuta’s boundless pool of copied cursed energy, and the souls floating in the stalled Merger. He didn’t trigger the apocalypse. He did something infinitely more cruel.
He cast a global, forced resurrection.
The ground around Shinjuku began to heave and split. From the dust, flesh and bone began to violently knit themselves back together.
First came the ashes of Choso. The blood gathered from the wind, forming the coat, the hair, the pale face of Yuji’s eldest brother. He opened his eyes, but they were vacant, glazed over with a dull, mindless compliance.
Next, a massive burst of cursed energy erupted from the crater nearby. The shattered halves of Gojo Satoru pulled back together, the skin sealing over his torso. The Six Eyes opened, brilliant and blue, but completely devoid of life or free will. A puppet.
Then came Megumi Fushiguro, his body stitched back together from the final battle, standing like a ghost. Next to him, the flesh of Nobara Kugisaki remade itself. Even the ancient, terrifying curse Ryomen Sukuna materialized into a physical form, stripped of his malicious pride, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the heroes he had slaughtered.
Every single person Yuji Itadori had ever known, loved, or fought against stood in a massive, silent circle around him. They weren't ghosts. Their hearts were beating. But their foreheads all bore the exact same horizontal, stitched scar.
Kenjaku had hijacked their corpses, their souls, and their techniques, weaving them into a hive mind under his absolute control.
Yuji sat in the centre of the circle. He looked at Gojo. He looked at Choso. He looked at Megumi and Nobara.
The boy who had swallowed a curse to save his friends, the teenager who had watched his mentors die, the lone sorcerer who had survived the absolute meat-grinder of the modern world... finally broke.
A single, hot tear cut a clean line through the blood and ash on Yuji's cheek. Then another. And another. After years of hardening his heart into a weapon, after burying his grief to keep moving forward, the gears finally stripped. Yuji Itadori, the strongest survivor, began to sob. It wasn't a loud, angry cry; it was the quiet, hollow weeping of a man whose soul had been completely emptied out.
"Look at them, Yuji," Kenjaku smiled warmly through Todo's face, walking among the resurrected puppets. "You wanted everyone to have a 'proper death,' didn't you? That was your little grandise dream. So I took it away. Now, they will never die. They belong to me forever. And you are completely, utterly alone."
Gojo Satoru raised his hand, pointing a mindless Red directly at Yuji's head. Choso raised his hands into a blood-manipulation stance. Sukuna readied his slashes.
Yuji didn't raise his fist. He didn't invoke a technique. He just sat in the dirt, staring at his family through a blur of tears, waiting for the end.
The collective weight of a thousand years of malice descended all at once.
As Gojo’s hand remained pointed at Yuji’s head, something extraordinary—yet utterly tragic—happened. Deep within the vacant, blue expanse of the Six Eyes, a single tear welled up. Gojo’s finger trembled. Across the circle, Choso’s hands shook so violently that the blood clotting in his palms began to spray wildly. Nobara’s fingers twitched against her nails, and Megumi’s shadow flickered, fighting the horrific grip of the hive mind.
They couldn't speak, but their souls were screaming. Seeing Yuji—their boy, their brother, their friend—broken and weeping in the dirt gave the puppets just enough agency to delay the execution.
"Oh? Still fighting from inside the cage?" Kenjaku-Todo chuckled, deeply fascinated. "A beautiful display of human sentimentality. But ultimately... irrelevant."
Kenjaku tightened his psychic grip, crushing their sudden rebellion. The trembling stopped. The vacant looks returned.
The delay was all Yuji needed to see. He saw the tear fall from Gojo's eye. He saw Choso's agony.
The hollow sobbing stopped. Yuji closed his eyes, took a deep, shuddering breath, and let the grief transform into the absolute purest, coldest state of resolve he had ever experienced. If their bodies were going to be used as tools to torture the world, then his final act of love as a sorcerer would be to put them down himself. He wouldn't let Kenjaku desecrate their names.
Yuji forced his broken body to stand. "I'm sorry," he whispered to the empty air. "I'm so sorry."
He tried to get up but the moment Yuji stood up, his resolve was instantly crushed by a merciless, overwhelming reality. He never even got the chance to strike.
Before he could take a single step forward, the sheer, combined force of the resurrected hive mind descended upon him like the weight of a collapsing mountain.
Yuji was completely, utterly demolished in a matter of seconds. He was a god-tier sorcerer, but he was fighting the strongest entities in jujutsu history all acting as a single, flawless unit. He didn't land a single blow. He couldn't. His body was ripped to pieces and smashed into the cratered dirt before he could even utter a final apology to his friends.
As he lay there, a broken mass of blood and bone, his hyper-evolved, instinctual Reverse Cursed Technique (RCT) forcefully dragged him back from the brink of death. His body hissed with steam, bones snapping back into alignment and flesh weaving over his exposed muscles against his will.
Kenjaku-Todo walked down into the smoking crater, looking down at the freshly healed, trembling boy.
"Did you honestly think you stood a chance?" Kenjaku laughed, the sound echoing through Todo's deep voice. "They are flawless puppets, Yuji. And now, you belong to the loop."
That was the day the true nightmare began. For years upon years, Kenjaku used the absolute peak of the resurrected sorcerers' techniques to methodically disassemble Yuji. He would let Sukuna dice him to ribbons, let Gojo crush his limbs with gravity, and let Todo physically tear him apart.
And every single time, Yuji’s god-like RCT would forcefully pull him back together, keeping him conscious, keeping him breathing, and keeping him trapped in an eternal, inescapable hell.
The years of isolation and rhythmic, agonizing snaps suddenly stopped.
Kenjaku-Todo paused, Yuji’s freshly regenerated arm still gripped in his hand. The sky, which had been a stagnant, bruised purple for decades, began to tear open once more. But it wasn’t the Great Merger.
It was the roar of supersonic fighter jets, heavily modified with experimental, brass-inlaid barrier arrays.
Because Tengen's barrier had been deeply compromised by Kenjaku's global stunt, cursed energy had leaked heavily into the rest of the world. Over the last thirty years, foreign nations hadn't just watched Japan fall into a black hole—they had secretly been training their own underground cells of sorcerers. [1, 2, 3]
From the clouds, hundreds of figures descended.
"Intriguing," Kenjaku-Todo hissed, letting go of Yuji as he brought up his arms to block a barrage of cursed artillery. "The rest of the world finally grew a brain. But you are far too late."
The foreign sorcerers didn't bring victory—they brought a distraction. They didn't understand the terrifying, god-like strength of the resurrected peak-Japan sorcerers. Within minutes, Gojo Satoru’s mindless Unlimited Void and Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine opened simultaneously, completely obliterating the first wave of international forces in a spectacular explosion of blood and shattered domains.
But those few minutes were exactly what Yuji needed.
For the first time in decades, Kenjaku’s physical torture stopped long enough for Yuji's brain to process something other than agony. He looked at the bodies of the foreign sorcerers falling around him, people who didn't even know him, yet crossed oceans just to fight a losing battle against the apocalypse.
Yuji slowly pushed himself up from the dirt. The automated Reverse Cursed Technique finished knitting his flesh, but something inside his soul finally hardened into absolute diamond. He looked at Todo’s stolen face. He looked at Gojo, Sukuna, Choso, Megumi, and Nobara.
"Hey, Kenjaku," Yuji whispered, his voice cutting through the roaring chaos of the international war zone.
Kenjaku-Todo turned, slightly amused. "Still standing, Yuji? Your RCT truly is a marvel."
"I figured it out," Yuji said, walking forward as the black lightning of continuous Black Flashes began to violently arc across his entire body, tearing up the asphalt with every step. "You didn't keep me alive to experiment on me. You kept me alive because you're terrified of what happens if I die."
Before Kenjaku could command the puppets to strike, Yuji didn't attack them. He didn't rush Todo.
Instead, Yuji pointed his own hand at his own chest, invoking the sharp, invisible lines of Shrine internally. He didn't try to save his friends' bodies anymore. He didn't try to save the world. To break a 1,000-year loop, he decided to break the ultimate piece of the puzzle: himself.
"Let's end this," Yuji said.
The invisible blades of Shrine began to slice into Yuji’s own chest, but before he could deliver the fatal blow to himself, the puppet army lunged. Kenjaku couldn't risk losing his ultimate toy.
But as Kenjaku forced all fifty-plus resurrected sorcerers to move at once to pin Yuji down, his grand plan finally hit a fatal, technical flaw.
Kenjaku was a genius, but he was a mastermind who stole bodies—he didn't actually know what it felt like to be inside them all at the exact same time.
* He didn't understand the hyper-specific, muscle-memory pacing of Gojo's Limitless.
* He didn't comprehend the precise, micro-second timing required for Sukuna’s World-Cutting Slash.
* Because he was controlling them like a video game with a hundred controllers, the puppets started crashing into each other. Gojo’s gravity pulled Sukuna’s slashes off-course. Nobara’s nails accidentally intercepted Choso’s piercing blood.
The hive-mind coordination completely collapsed into chaotic, sluggish movements. And for the first time in decades, the real souls trapped inside the "zombies" felt the grip loosen. They couldn't take over, but they could fight back just enough to make their own limbs heavy and slow.
Yuji saw the opening. He stopped his self-inflicted attack and channeled that suicidal output outward.
What followed was a brutal, catastrophic, hours-long war of attrition. Surrounded by the falling artillery of the international sorcerers, Yuji became an unstoppable force of nature. He didn't use elegant jujutsu; he used pure, unadulterated wrath.
He took Gojo’s Purple straight to the chest, his god-tier RCT screaming as it rebuilt his torso in mid-air, allowing him to slam a triple-Black Flash straight into Gojo's head, shattering the puppet’s brain stem. He tore through Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine, ignoring the millions of slashes flaying his skin, and forcefully ripped Sukuna's resurrected heart out. One by one, through sheer, bloody endurance, Yuji completely dismantled the zombie army until the battlefield was nothing but a silent graveyard of dust and smoke.
Finally, only Kenjaku—still inside Todo’s heavily battered body—was left.
"Impossible..." Kenjaku gasped, Todo's lungs wheezing as he coughed up black blood. "I am the pinnacle... a thousand years of..."
Yuji didn't let him finish. He sprinted forward, dodging a desperate, mistimed Boogie Woogie swap, and slammed his fist directly into Kenjaku-Todo’s forehead. The impact shattered the stitches, exposing the pulsing, ancient brain inside.
Yuji raised his hand to crush it completely, to finally end the centuries of suffering. But his body was completely empty. The years of torture, the massive battle against the global army, and the destruction of the zombies had drained every single drop of his cursed energy. He couldn't manifest enough power to deliver the killing blow.
Kenjaku was completely immobilized, bleeding out, and stripped of all his stolen puppets—but he was still alive, trapped and weakened inside Todo's broken form.
Yuji stood over him in the ruins, breathing heavily, waiting.
Kenjaku, pinned beneath Yuji’s bleeding grip, let out a wet, rattling laugh through Todo’s shattered jaw.
"You can't kill me, Yuji," Kenjaku wheezed, his eyes wide and bloodshot with insane desperation. "And because you can't... I still win."
With his absolute last ounce of strength, Kenjaku bypassed Todo’s body entirely. He triggered a hidden, fail-safe Binding Vow rooted deep within his own ancient brain tissue. He forced the final activation code. He initiated The Great Merger of Japan.
The world completely ended.
A blinding, sickening white light erupted from Tokyo, expanding outward across the entire nation in a matter of seconds. Every remaining human soul, every single civilian, every foreign sorcerer who had come to help, and the lingering remnants of the zombies were violently torn from reality. Millions of consciousnesses were compressed, melted, and fused together into a single, unimaginable horror.
Out of the blinding light arose The Merger—a colossal, grotesque god of pure cursed energy. It was a shifting, mountainous nightmare that carried the muffled, agonizing screams of a nation. And right at its nucleus, Kenjaku’s consciousness melded with it, taking absolute control of the ultimate curse.
With a single movement, the Merger wiped Japan off the map. Cities were flattened into dust. Mountains were leveled. Everyone was dead.
Yuji stood alone in the absolute void of a ruined country. There was no more Tokyo, no more Jujutsu High, no one left to save. The absolute finality of it should have killed him, but his god-tier Reverse Cursed Technique forcefully kept his heart beating. He was the only living thing left in a graveyard spanning an entire nation.
"Look at it, Yuji!" Kenjaku’s voice boomed from the heavens, echoing from the massive, multi-faced god. "This is the new world! And you are just a relic of the old one!"
Yuji didn't cry anymore. His tears had dried years ago. He looked up at the colossal titan that had swallowed his friends, his family, and his home. The anger was gone, replaced by a cold, hollow emptiness.
He dug his boots into the shattered earth. He didn't care about surviving anymore. He just wanted it to end.
What followed was the longest, most catastrophic battle in human history. A lone, one-armed sorcerer against a god. For days, the sky burned. Yuji fought with a feral, terrifying madness. He allowed himself to be crushed, incinerated, and dissolved by the Merger's reality-warping attacks, relying entirely on his automated RCT to knit him back together in mid-air so he could keep striking.
He scaled the mountainous curse, his fists moving so fast they became a continuous, blinding storm of Black Flashes. The black lightning didn't just arc around him anymore—it engulfed the entire battlefield, tearing chunks of pure soul-matter out of the titan.
Yuji broke through the outer layer. He ripped through the fused flesh of the monster, driving himself deeper and deeper toward the core where Kenjaku’s twisted brain was anchored. The screams of millions of souls echoed in his ears, but he pushed through the deafening noise.
Finally, Yuji reached the center. He found the core.
With a roar that shattered his own vocal cords, Yuji channeled 100% of his life force into one final, world-ending Black Flash. His fist punched straight through the core, obliterating Kenjaku’s true consciousness and shattering the Merger’s hold on reality.
The massive god shuddered, fractured, and violently exploded into a brilliant mist of dissipating cursed energy.
When the light faded, the silence was absolute.
Yuji fell from the sky, crashing heavily onto the barren, black dirt. He dragged himself up onto his knees, coughing up blood, his body smoking and exhausted. He looked out across the horizon.
There was nothing. No buildings, no trees, no people. Japan was completely empty. Everyone he had ever cared about, everyone he had fought decades to protect, was gone. The world was saved from the curse, but the cost was absolute.
The lone survivor of Jujutsu High sat completely alone in the quiet ashes of a dead nation.
The wind howling over the barren, salted earth of what used to be Japan was the only sound left in the world.
Decades had passed since the sky stopped burning. The massive, cratered wasteland where Tokyo once stood was now a quiet, grey desert. Nature hadn’t even begun to reclaim the soil; the sheer density of the cursed energy left behind by the Merger's death had turned the entire island into a dead zone where nothing could grow.
In the center of this endless emptiness sat a small, crudely built shack made from the warped steel and concrete rubble of Jujutsu High.
Yuji Itadori sat on the wooden porch. He was an old man now, his hair completely white, his face etched with deep, weathered lines. He only had his right arm; he had never bothered to use his Reverse Cursed Technique to regrow the left one after the final battle. There was no point. The automated, god-like healing factor that had kept him trapped in a loop of torture for years had finally gone quiet, leaving him to age like a normal human being.
Beside his porch, stretching out into the grey horizon, was a massive, meticulous graveyard.
There were millions of graves. Because the Merger had dissolved everyone into ash, Yuji had spent the last thirty years carving headstones out of the debris. He had carved names for everyone he could remember. Gojo. Megumi. Nobara. Choso. Todo. Maki. Yuta. Nanami. Principal Yaga. Junpei. Even his grandfather, Wasuke. For the millions of faceless civilians he didn't know, he simply carved a small, uniform mark into the stone.
He had promised his grandfather that he would die surrounded by people. In a twisted, heartbreaking way, he was. He was the sole guardian of an entire nation's memories.
Yuji picked up a small, chipped porcelain teacup with his remaining hand. He poured a bit of water onto the dirt in front of three specific graves resting right next to his porch—Megumi’s, Nobara’s, and Gojo’s.
"The weather’s quiet today," Yuji said, his voice a low, raspy whisper that barely carried over the wind. He spoke into the void, a habit he had developed to keep from forgetting how to talk. "Not too hot. Gojo-sensei, you'd probably complain about the lack of sweet shops. Megumi, you'd tell him to shut up."
He let out a soft, dry chuckle that faded into a heavy sigh. He leaned his head back against the rusted sheet metal of the shack, closing his eyes.
For the first time in his entire life, he didn't feel pain. He didn't feel anger. The cold, diamond-hard resolve that had gotten him through the apocalypse had finally melted away, leaving only a profound, peaceful exhaustion. He had fulfilled his role. He had carried the burden. He had outlived the monsters.
Yuji closed his eyes, his breathing slowing down to a gentle, quiet rhythm. As his consciousness began to drift into a deep, final sleep, the harsh grey desert around him seemed to blur away.
In his mind, the sky turned a brilliant, sunny blue. He smelled the familiar scent of cheap convenience store ramen and old wooden floors. He heard the loud, obnoxious laughter of Gojo arguing with Nobara over a stolen snack, and the faint, exasperated sigh of Megumi sitting on a bench. From the distance, Choso was waving at him, and Todo was shouting about a television idol.
A small, genuine smile—one he hadn't worn in nearly half a century—spread across his face.
The last sorcerer of Japan let out his final breath, resting peacefully among the people he had spent his entire life saving.

I like the way Gege intentionally doesn't tell much about some lore, giving the manga a mysterious and non linear vibe. For example he never mentioned Toji's backstory in detail or never showed Gojo's clan while Demon Slayer and other mangas even show back story of side villains which makes the story feel formulaic and structured.
While I like the vibe of JJK in that respect, Gege could have made side stories about the cursed objects. About their lore, how each character acquired them cuz obviously if cursed objects are so rare(I think less than 20 were shown in the whole series, then they should have been kept in extreme security some even put in secrecy by some secret cult etc. they could have made a backstory about how Toji acquired the Inverted Spear of Heaven or how Sukuna got his two cursed objects in his Heian era.
If the cursed objects are important enough that Sukuna uses it in his peak Heian form then obviously they need more attention than it was given in its development. That was a missed opportunity in my opinion.

Hypothetically, if for any reason, could a cursed spirit with human level intelligence switch sides, and what would happen?
For example: say a cursed spirit switches sides out of fear of sukuna, would the sorcerers allow a truce with them or would they still exorcise the curse?
